Kenny was a good man who pro-actively looked out for the group, but made some mistakes on the way.
Oh, I see where the problem lies.
Kenny I know wasn't a good man. Don't want to argue or spread the Kenny-hate, he just wasn't my (Lee's) friend. I had been dealing with this attitude of his for a long time; this was surprisingly out of character, how he suddenly decided to sacrifice himself. Danny St. John was an example, I was trying to express how I felt when the story took a turn without any warning. Imagine Lee saying he's gonna leave Clementine behind. I wouldn't expect that, like with Kenny's situation.
Not much point as it's 2:30AM where I am and most of your retortions are simply ridiculous. It's obvious you're looking for trouble otherwis… moree you'd have moved on without complaining about the game to its fanbase. I'll just give my response in regards to Kenny.
Let's say Danny St.Jones sacrifices himself instead of Kenny. Is that brings a tears too?
The St. Johns were fucking insane cannibals who only cared about themselves. Kenny was a good man who pro-actively looked out for the group, but made some mistakes on the way. Upon seeing Ben/Christa in trouble he realizes that it's his chance to cement himself as someone who looked out for others... It's hardly out of character and I don't see how you could think it is. I've literally never seen that argument made here because it's plain foolish, and I'm sure even the most overzealous Kenny-haters would agree with me on that one.
Did you save Ben or no? Personally, I think Kenny's sacrifice makes more sense if you save him, though his saving of Christa isn't completely out of character.

He might have thought your Lee was a piss-ant shitbird but that doesn't make him a heartless bastard. He was rash and an asshole occasionally, but he did care. He had love and devotion to his family which alone made me respect him. He didn't want to see someone else die a painful death right before him when he could do something to stop it.

Nope, the realism don't work here. You can't justified a 9-years-old girl dragging an adult uncoucios man into a conviniently placed store.
It's 3 AM where I live, can we continue on later?

I never liked this whole "apocalyptic theme" and there was no indication that something was going to change anytime soon.
Uh...why even play the game if youve never liked that theme of game? I mean...I know I'm that way. If I know I don't like a certain theme of game I simply won't waste my time on it. Don't know why you wasted your time if you know you won't enjoy it.
I have all the rights to accuse you for being a troll as well. You keep saying I'm biased and calling my evidence bad, even I've tried to explain those were just examples and my opinion belongs only to me.
You come here complaining about a great game on its fan's forum only using horrible evidence to support your biased opinion.
If you don't like it here then you can leave, its quite obvious you came here to only complain, no ones keeping you here.

Well i liked it simply because it was the first game which really made me care about characters and i actually felt sadness for first time in many years. Game itself has many flaws, but it successfully made me care about fictional characters and what happened to them, so thats why it was such a great game, for me atleast.
It seems like this didnt happen to you, so it is understandable if you didnt like it. If you cant/wont immerse yourself in the game world, the gaming experience wont be different from cod or any other casual game.

There's no reason to feed up this conversation.
For some, yes, it may be. There are oversights and mistakes TT might've repaired, but which game doesn't have any? Anyways, we should listen to both side. It's not that hard to respect the opinions of others.

I respect both sides, in fact I agree somewhat with @Gloomy. I just thought he was a troll because a user found something on him. I kinda jumped on him for that. My mistake.

The game are story are far from perfect. With that said, it is probably one of the more entertaining games to come out in the last few years. That's why I like it.
I'm glad to see you had the wherewithal to admit that part was a flaw. I'm not saying it deserves criticism for it, just that it's nice to see someone who can debate without having to be 100% one sided.

For you...
However most of them can be justified if you actually paid attention to the game.
I wish more people would actually listen to me and try the game out, but alas, I'm usually ignored. >_<
You really checked all of downstairs in 15 seconds...
Also I never said they checked all of the rooms.

Our definicions of "unvalid" have to be different then.

Well you're a troll so...
Ill take my leave and let you continue with your biased opinion about a really great game.
And I'm a troll because?
This community is truly as bad as I've heard.
We're not all bad!
You come here complaining about a great game on its fan's forum only using horrible evidence to support your biased opinion.

Geez, you guys jumped on him like wolves on a wounded deer. Pretty agressive towards somebody who's just expressing an opinion. Calm down a bit, okay?
Im not continuing this, you just cant accept that games dont have to be realistic, its a game, deal with it.
This happens all the time, which sucks.
So what's your take on this? Is the game overrated?
I didn't save him, even though I feel like I shoud have.
Sorry for being that guy in this thread.
Would you quote/describe exact situations? I don't remember everything, played just once. We could compare our experiences.
I don't think you were being that guy, but I think everybody kinda jumped the thread pretty hard.
To be honest, it was easy to take him for a troll.

I decided to give it a try.
So, it obviously didn't work out. I'm honestly confused why you needed to come chew it out though.

He's actually my favorite character and gets an awesome scene in episode 5, you should check it out.
Welcome back, @zykelator :>
I need to be more careful next time. Feels like people are looking for a reason to report me so i get banned
Surprisingly happy XD
I gotta feeling the OP here, @Gloomy, may end up similar soon. Not the warmest welcome I've heard about.
It's your opinion I guess. I don't think it was terribly overrated but again it's your opinion.
Zykelator you have returned!

I was never gone, i was just gaining my energy back by playing games.
