I always thought the apocalipse (with any kind of "monsters") was supposed to be only a background, so the story itself has a large range of possibilities.
If you're offended by troll or hater, the internet may not be your place.
Also I was just stating the truth, you don't like apocalypse games and it had a difference in your opinion.
I'm not offended, it's actually funny.

In not particular order:
* Cryostasis,
* Amnesia The Dark Descent,
* Penumbra,
* Metro,
* Enslaved: Odyssey to the West,
* The Wolf Among Us,
* Portal,
* Limbo
etc...
At first I thought he may just have a difference of opinion, even after reading his extremely nit-picky (and actually, for the most part, completely not applicable) "examples" of problems with realism in the game. Then he started getting very slanderous and solidified the idea he is nothing but a common pesky troll.

flat-out bullshit, the primary theme of this series has ALWAYS been death.
You're being a flat now. The series is about life and staying alive in the apocaliptic world.
Something doesn't necessarily have to be razor sharp to leave an open wound. Haven't you ever bled from stubbing your toe or banging against… more the corner of a wall?
If I'm that kid, I'm grabbing whatever the hell I can. He's probably never tried whiskey before so maybe he brought it up there thinking that if it comes to it, he could drink it. Then maybe tried it and realized that it's basically like drinking smoke. It's also possible that the whiskey simply happened to have been stored in the attic.
Everybody, I need you to listen to me for the last time.
Things happened. We were throwing stones. I was too.
When people say they respect "an opinion" they usually mean they tolerate it. But it's not how it works. You can only truly respect others' opinion if you can imagine yourself in the shoes of someone else. When you try to understand one's arguments, and where they are coming from. You certainly would like your opinion to be respected, wouldn't you? Whether you agree or not has nothing to do with this.
If people do not feel respect one's can never change or understand its opinion. While not every one of them deserves to get an answer, most of them are, and shouldn't be rejected immediately. If someone's opinion is disagreeable, one should use rhetoric debate to try and change an opossite way of thinking rather than being hostile to it.
I've came across a lot of people who were kind enough to took the time and explain to me how they think. I'm grateful they did, and I'm gonna place below list of people who helped me approach to a problem in a different way. Because the real issue I had was "I don't see anything special in The Walking Dead Game, although I should, considering it clearly dominates the video game industry."
(Sorry if I overlooked someone):
@dojo32161: "The characters were portrayed as flawed beings, not just characters there to make the story function. Everyone had a reason for their actions, and we got to learn about them, and that's something I don't see very often."
@HardAppleCider: "They just didn't ruin the game for me. For me, those things are easy to forgive. I know that I'm a natural skeptic and what the game did right it did really well. To be frank, I have to forgive "every" game I play for various flaws. This one, I just enjoyed it more than most others."
@Colton: "I guess im alright with the illusion of choice, but i know it doesn't really matter what i choose because it ends the same way, but the choices are different enough for me to enjoy and think they matter, which they sort of do in my mind because of the character's reactions and them mentioning it later on."
@fallandir: "There are oversights and mistakes TT might've repaired, but which game doesn't have any? Anyways, we should listen to both side. It's not that hard to respect the opinions of others."
@zykelator: "Game itself has many flaws, but it successfully made me care about fictional characters and what happened to them, so thats why it was such a great game, for me atleast."
@Mary5: "I think that the reason why this game was so well received is because there are not many other games that can have such a big impact on people."
@Thematt9001: "People have different expectations of games which leads to different ways of thinking about the games which leads to different experiences of the games."
Thank you again for your time.
The rest of users who replied to me were mainly focused on the bad examples I made, and it was obviously my own mistake, because this point just narrowed discussion down, and created an image of somebody who nitpick at details - and starts quarrel because of this - (which was never my final goal). Expression an opinion is't about popping in, starting an argument, then getting away with tail between your legs.
I think the source of confusion (or "real problem this community has") is the trouble which people who disagree with any statement have to face.
There's no wrong opinion. Each one is good.
I'm gonna stick around a little more if anybody want to ask me someting.
The thing is, I'm always down for a good debate. Your original post did not prompt this. You gave lousy examples and nothing else, now basis for stimulating to and fro. You stated the examples as problems with realism, of which only 1 of your 7 or 8 examples was related to such.
To me it seems your only gripe with the series is that it didn't give you branching story when it promoted "tailoring" the experience. A quesi-justified sentiment. But, it never offered you branching story. You just expected something they never offered.

If yes, take a notice it's only a game which tries to provide you entertainment. Perhaps you should lower your expectations a bit before you play it, and then come back here with thought-out, racional opinion. We're gonna respect it, like most of us did before. Right, guys?

i think the real question here is why would you go onto a fanbase forum for the game and try to convince people that the game is not good/not a masterpiece? nobody here is going to agree with you your basicly putting a target on your head and screaming "HEY TWD FANS COME FLAME ME!!!" i honestly have no pity

Are you going to play Season 2?

Eh, it could go both ways. It's like going to the hood of Cleveland and saying "I don't think MGK is good." (MGK is from there and "represents" the people from there.) You wouldn't meet good responses.
He is still basicly asking for trouble and flamers so him complaining about peoples reactions to his thread is kind of silly considering he brought it upon himself

Worse. He nit - picked like a pro for season one. I can't even imagine him ripping season two, and I'd be inclined to agree on most his points more than likely.

Oh well... it's a good thing this video game is only $25 or less when it's on sale (which is all the time) so it's not like Telltale's ripping you off. A fair deal for a good story.

There are tons of fan stories on these forums, if you want ill tell you how to get there.
Even if we have different opinions about TWDG, you, Sir, still have a good taste in games.

Forget about examples, they narrowed the discussion down and led to misunderstandings. I was wrong and shouldn't have placed them there.
Thank you.
Fan stories, if you want to see, go to Telltale talk and theres a subsection called Forum Games.
What do you mean?
Metro is an awesome game, if you want a choice game done well btw. You should play the Witcher
I played Witcher 1 and 2, liked it a lot. I'm still waiting for the third part.
Fucking rekt.
You're welcome.
You forgot a hashtag!
#fucking rekt
Wolf Among Us was a great game indeed, GOTY Material in my opinion, definitely beats Season Two of TWDG.
You are both wrong. This series has ALWAYS BEEN and will ALWAYS BE about juice boxes.
Yeah, you're right. Sorry.

Hmm. He didn't try to convince us, he said what he thinks. See the title.
Please don't. I couldn't handle more reasons to dislike season 2... I just couldn't.

Maybe he will like it.
Ha ha ha
But he admitted he shouldn't have started discussion the way he did.
Both bad and good responses always existed, everywhere. Can't avoid that.
You think it's gonna be that bad? :>
Worse. He nit - picked like a pro for season one. I can't even imagine him ripping season two, and I'd be inclined to agree on most his points more than likely.
True. But you'd get an ass whoopin in Cleveland for saying that haha. Just saying, not the best place. (IMO)
We are going to wait and see.
If you say so. I'm not going there anytime soon. :>
This thread reminds me of being a Mass Effect 3 fan on the Bioware forums, lol.
Never seen anyone else who has played cryostasis.
The game sometimes felt kinda messy. Especially in the later episodes.

One of my favourite games all the time.
