Lilly's dad just died so she is in shock and becoming a bit paranoid. On top of that she has to deal with Kenny complaining about everything she does, she has to look after everyone's well being, she has to look after the food rations, she has to worry about bandits, she had to worry about a traitor, she has to worry about zombies, and now she got Carley hollering at her. Humans can only take so much before they snap.
Detriment: Lee also being against her adding more stress.
Lee's situation was different, and I didn't even know anything about Lee's wife. Also he saw her cheating with the senator, unlike Lilly who shot someone over no proof.
I wonder why, if she cared about Clementine so much, Lilly just abandoned her. Why not trick Lee into bringing Clementine over to the RV, then yanking her inside and driving off with her (the game would have ended after that, but still)?
It's pretty understandable why people would leave her behind, but Lilly's still one of my favorite characters from the first season.
She was aggressive, but never one-dimensionally so. There's a lot of depth to her character, and it was interesting to see her play off of someone like Kenny because neither of them was totally wrong in their conflicts.Despite how things ended, it wasn't random cruelty like Carver; there was clear emotional build-up of her deterioration and what it meant to be driven to emotional extremes. You can see more than one side to Lilly depending on how you interact with her, and it really does emphasize the tragedy of her inevitable breakdown.

What did Lilly ever do that made a difference? She was totally blind about the farm, unhelpful about the missing supplies.... When did Lilly do anything?
I did like her and I did let her back on the RV, but it doesn't mean I forgive her for killing Carley and stealing the RV. She wasn't in a stable state- that I can understand, but I'm never gonna forgive her for what she did out of her anger. This is similar to how I feel about Kenny (though I like Kenny a hell of a lot more than Lilly). I looked away and am still with him in my ending of Season 2, but I'm not ever gonna forgive him for killing Jane and tearing the group apart. I do hope Lilly shows up again in Season 3 (along with Molly and especially Christa).

She should have come back instead of Kenny, Yes she still would have stolen all the attention from the cabin group however a "redemption" arc for her character would be a new development also the decision to trust her or not would be more balanced.

Well if you saved Doug, she's actually gunning for Ben and Doug saves his life, in that case it's an accident, but she was still trying to kill someone.

Lilly killed Doug/Carley because she thought they were threatening the safety of everyone in the group during… more a zombie apocalypse in which moral lines are blurred whereas Lee just murdered the senator over adultery before society's collapse, when in reality he might not have even known about Lee's existence or anything. Could have been a great guy for all we know.
Didn't mind her, but she even knew she went overboard when murdering Carley or when trying to kill Ben and hitting Doug instead. After not having any solid evidence and going so far into murdering someone, she became a detriment to the group, and I had no problem leaving her behind.

That's Lee perspective put in a biased, good light. The reality of his situation was beating someone to death when he had no real reason to other than revenge. It confuses me that people consider that more acceptable than what Lilly did... Seems odd.

She was still paranoid. She clearly thought she was gonna end up being left for the walkers, so she got the fuck out. It wasn't right. It wa… mores horrendous. But I could forgive it. I was all for stepping out of the way and letting her leave... My Lee told her to go. I felt really sorry for her... I know I'd probably act in a similar way, not to mention she reminded me so much of my mum.

I actually like Lilly even though I was pretty pissed when she killed Carley and I left her. Later I regretted it. I hope she comes back in season 3, she deserves a chance for redemption.

She and her father remind me of me and my dad.....but I don't really like her I found her annoying (her tumblr fans make it worse tbh;;)
