You know, at first i was angry at Arvo and wanted him dead like the rest of you. Then i cooled down, and thought about it for a while. I really thought about the situation. I tried to think of how i would react in the same situation. First everyone has to remember the environment that was created by Kenny/Jane. After Luke died, he was the Glue that held everyone together. You could see how everyone cared and respected Luke at the fire.
Everyone liked him, even Kenny was starting to come around. Then he dies and things go from bad to worse. Arvo was a smart hostage, he saw that Kenny was violent and he used that as manipulation on Mike. Mike being a good person doesn't want to see Kenny kill Arvo, Kenny is losing his control and causing conflict between the two because of his violent outbursts.
How can anyone blame them for leaving. That situation was unbelievably toxic. I believe Arvo was manipulating the group from the beginning of his capture. He knew the ice wasn't stable, so he used that situation to cause confusion where he could attempt escape. He starts taking off, then Luke dies. Mike steps up for Arvo and tells him to lay off. Arvo knew he could get mike to help him by defying Kenny. That is why he told Kenny to "F" off, Kenny nearly beats the crap out of him, making Arvo's plight more desperate, making Mike more likely to help him.
I don't blame any of them because here is the truth. Kenny was losing it, Jane couldn't be trusted and Arvo did what he needed to do to survive. I can't blame him for that, i can't blame Mike for playing the "good" guy patsy, and i really can't blame for Bonnie for being emotionally crippled. These are just things that happened. I forgiven them a long time ago.
I completely agree and wish that he would have shot Kenny instead, (Of all the things he gets up from just fine it woulda been nothing for him) or that they had just left on foot with one bag. (If Bonnie is dead, nobody is around to come out with the second bag, so it does look like Mike and Arvo left the other.)
Even if Clementine does take pills, Arvo can still call her nice and sorta apologize. It appears as if his group is forcing him into holding up Clementine's group, in the translation I saw, Buricko was literally instructing Arvo on what to say to them. I bet if Clementine actually had a chance to interact with him outside of constantly yelling at Kenny to stop being an asshole, then maybe she would have gotten to explain what happened to his sister. Arvo's hatred of Clementine was essentially based off of a misunderstanding that the game purposely didn't resolve, and that just annoys me so much that I complain about it all the time.
You have some good points, Still, he could have waited Jane or Kenny appears, so he could shoot at least one of them, especially if clem giv… moree your weapon to Mike and try to protect Arvo everytime. Im just saying that arvo had more motives to shoot Kenny or Jane before try to kill clem. I think most players were friendly with him . Clem is just a little girl. how far people can go in a lawless land (ZA). Imagine if clem come out with AJ, poor children .
The only reason I left the st johns alive is because I thought it was too early from a story perspective for the main character to be murdering people already (even though I killed them in my separate second play through). But it's been long enough in the story to start killing more, especially after all she's been through. And it's different, the st johns weren't apart of the family, but Mike and Bonnie were, and it hurts much more when the people you trusted basically attempts to kill you, it's much more personal.
How the heck do they even compare?
The termites tried to kill the group and EAT THEM. I mean shit 70%+ left the st johns alive like seriously.....Arvo, Mike and Bonnie run away and get all this crap about torturing them. I just...
I do blame Mike & Bonnie for taking ALL the supplies.
Taking half, sure. But taking all while we have a freaking baby to feed. That is what I will never forgive.

this part was bad written. if Bonnie is alive She and Mike will have 2 bags and clem can acuse them for stealing all they have, if Bonnie is Dead, Mike appears with 1 bag, but clem still can acuse mark of stealing all they have, so they basically teleported the 2 bag to nowhere. I agree with you, I just think that maybe arvo could have found another solution, hurting children is the last means, no matter how bad the situation is. im a kenny AND jane fan, but i can see their mistakes. I dont blame anyone for leaving. Arvo is only in my shit list because he shoot clem, but i dont want torture him. i probably just gonna put a bullet in his head if he point a gun on me again, because im afraid. To be fair, i think Lilly is worse them him, if i can choose save one and let the other to die, i would save Arvo with no hesitation. I forgive everyone, except Arvo and Lilly ( Considering only possible people alive at that point

I would forgive Mike I think. I also think Telltale might still have plans for him since his determinant death was deleted from the PS3-Version.
Bonnie will be dead anyway because she's determinant.
Arvo will be free to go anywhere he wants...without weapons or supplies. And if I catch him in a radius of half a mile near the camp I will shoot his kneecaps and leave him for the walkers.
maybe if kenny wasn't such a massive prick, trying to torture Arvo at every chance he gets then Arvo wouldn't be so hostile. bonnie and mike… more did the right thing by protecting him.
also if you didnt notice, mike and bonnie ran off with him because kenny is crazy and was going to kill them
I actually find this one of those rare occasions where I tried defending Kenny (along with AJ and Jane). Kenny is definitely a piece of shit… more human garbage, but low-life treacherous snakes that actively put a shit-eating grin on their face while they plot to rob and leave a young girl and newborn alone with said piece of shit human garbage to slowly freeze to death is inexcusable.
It was all about principle. I didn't need any further proof to pull out my weapon after I saw dick-head Mike and scum-face Arvo trying to start the car along with every bit of supplies we had with them.
If only the game allowed me the opportunity to pluck Arvo in between the eye's, turn to Mike shoot him in his throat, then turn to Bonnie and empty the rest of my clip right up her deceitful lying ass.
Why would you literally try and draw direct parallels to that anyway? I really don't think that's the point.
Because thats what the OP is saying...... their referencing a quote about killing cannibals to killing Arvo,Mike and Bonnie
Arvo: 'Just let us go, and I swear, we'll never cross paths ever again!'
Clem: 'But if you cross paths with other people you'll do the sa… moreme things to them, right?'
Arvo: '...(shit I'm so dead)'
Clem: 'Plus, I already made you a promise!' pulls red-handled machete and swings it at Arvo
Arvo: 'NOOOO...!!!'
Chunk!
you are fucking prick.
I am fucking prick? Get out of here, it's past your bed time.
Remember to have your mom turn on the night light so the monsters don't get you.
I'm not saying Kenny wasn't right, but his method was wrong. He could have argued his point to the group to convince them to leave or kill him, not get blinded by his violent rages: e.g. When he beats the shit out of arvo instead of helping Clem who just fell into an ice lake.
You're really going to blame this on Kenny, Kenny was the only one who saw Arvo for what he was. I wanted him to kill him from the start, he… more almost got us killed, and when I saw Mike and Bonnie protecting him, I couldn't believe it. I let Kenny keep beating the shit out of Arvo, that prick deserved everything that Kenny threw at him. And even if he didn't, Arvo would have still shot Clem, he thought Clem shot his sister when she was still alive, not because of Kenny beating him. Kenny wasn't crazy, he was the only one that was rational, like I said, he knew Arvo was a threat, but Mike and Bonnie were so gullible and naive that they thought he was some innocent kid. And Arvo is a manipulator, he convinced his group to attack us and convinced Mike and Bonnie to betray us. FUCK ARVO. FUCK BONNIE. FUCK MIKE. HAIL KENNY.

Oh the revenge will be sweet. Looking forward to see you, Arvo.
If you're going to quote a villain, you really need to rethink your definition of evil.
FUCK ARVO and his crew may we get to kill them with red handled machetes in s3
Yeah that was a little underhanded, but it wouldn't be something i couldn't forgive someone over.

No it wasn't, not anymore than yours...
Yes, it was. It was really unneeded, and me pointing that out isn't unneeded.
No, it wasn't. It was needed for, and you saying what you said was extremely unneeded. Have a nice day.
Oh I guess he should have treated him nicely and with respect after he almost got them all killed, huh? Shut the fuck up dumb ass.
Kenny was not a piece of shit human garbage, you are fucking prick. What did Kenny ever do for you to think he was that?
That doesn't mean the reasoning needs to be identical.
Your insult to their opinion was completely unneeded.
Please learn basic respect, thank you.
How about no?
Not helping to find Clementine is a good example.
Then you won't get it in return. Then you can bitch about how much the forum hates you.
Gimmie some of that.
People who forgive them are the ones who'd be tricked by them again.
One of the best scenes in the show, I would love to do that to Arvo.
Lol I don't care if any of you hate me, nice try.

But by the way you're acting, you're most likely going to get banned.
This is where the discussion ends, I'm not going to talk to you if you're not going to act like a civilized human being.
Cool.
Yeah, extremely cool.
Arvo deserves the red handled machete more than anyone
so glad you got banned :P

Forgiveness means we don't wish ill harm on others. It doesn't mean trust. Forgiveness can lead to trust, but its a long road ahead.
