I feel your points are all agreeable so I won't argue. Though, I have to say emptying the clip up Bonnie's ass probably isn't the most reliable method, friend.
I actually find this one of those rare occasions where I tried defending Kenny (along with AJ and Jane). Kenny is definitely a piece of shit… more human garbage, but low-life treacherous snakes that actively put a shit-eating grin on their face while they plot to rob and leave a young girl and newborn alone with said piece of shit human garbage to slowly freeze to death is inexcusable.
It was all about principle. I didn't need any further proof to pull out my weapon after I saw dick-head Mike and scum-face Arvo trying to start the car along with every bit of supplies we had with them.
If only the game allowed me the opportunity to pluck Arvo in between the eye's, turn to Mike shoot him in his throat, then turn to Bonnie and empty the rest of my clip right up her deceitful lying ass.
You know, at first i was angry at Arvo and wanted him dead like the rest of you. Then i cooled down, and thought about it for a while. I re… moreally thought about the situation. I tried to think of how i would react in the same situation. First everyone has to remember the environment that was created by Kenny/Jane. After Luke died, he was the Glue that held everyone together. You could see how everyone cared and respected Luke at the fire.
Everyone liked him, even Kenny was starting to come around. Then he dies and things go from bad to worse. Arvo was a smart hostage, he saw that Kenny was violent and he used that as manipulation on Mike. Mike being a good person doesn't want to see Kenny kill Arvo, Kenny is losing his control and causing conflict between the two because of his violent outbursts.
How can anyone blame them for leaving. That situation was unbelievably toxic. I believe Arvo was manipulating the group from the beginnin… [view original content]
I think Mike deserves another chance, I feel Bonnie betrayed us twice and she tried taking all of are supplies and leave with the basically leaving them to die. Arvo idk if i can forgive him tho because I didnt steal his supplies when I had the chance ,but yet he still was an asshole to Clem I stopped Kenny from beating him and he wasn't thankful he acted like Clem told Kenny to do it. I tried to save him and treat him as part of the group but he still shot Clem with no remorse.
a b**** unarmed thief who shoot the love of christa and was threatening a little girl with a gun. i forgave christa for the same reason i forgave Jane and Kenny. i dont care about assholes, i think they deserved it. Troy death made me laugh a little (I'm not psycho and thought the other deaths were disgusting. but in Janes case i would do the same. In kenny case i would shoot back and leave him alive with no conditions to move
It is amazing how biased you are. There are two sides to everything and you are only looking at one point of view. Luke caused his own death. He panicked and because of that the ice cracked faster and he drowned. If you actually were to look at the Russian shootout you would see that Arvo had no intentions of violence. It was spear headed by Buricko, Vitali and Natasha.
Mike got shot.
Okay. But seriously who even cares about Mike, he's not even a character, just a generic dude. And he didn't die.
Luke got shot.
That is Luke's fault. Instead of jumping over the wall like an idiot into open space. He could have easily stayed behind the cover as Clem could have already possibly grabbed AJ
His entire group is dead.
Well, you could easily blame that on anyone. It could be Jane's fault for robbing him. It could be Clem/Kenny's fault for shooting first. Buricko/Vitali/Natasha for forcing Arvo to find the group.
Luke is dead (and Bonnie could be dead).
That is Luke's fault and Bonnie's fault. Luke panicked and therefore the ice cracked faster and he drowned. Bonnie was a dummy who inched across the ice when we knew that their combined weight would NOT hold.
Tensions rise, causing the group to fall apart.
And why does this happen? An abusive, racist redneck is beating on him every chance he gets. The first time was passable but it was just plain excessive that Kenny beat him up at every excuse he got. The group gets worried about how Kenny is acting and they don't have the same interaction with Kenny that Clementine does so all they see is an unstable man who has lost everything.
Mike and (determinant) Bonnie betray the group.
Once again, Mike and Bonnie only see that spiteful, rage filled side of Kenny and not the side of him he has around Clementine.
Clem gets shot and left to die.
The fault of the writers. Arvo is written to hate you no matter what like Larry was. There's no chance to explain yourself and no chance to connect with him.
Your opinion doesn't make you right. There are two sides to everything.
Considering the fact that we didn't let Kenny kill him, that's considered giving him a second chance. And it is all Arvo's fault. He said th… moree ice was thick enough to go across, but it wasn't since Luke died trying to cross it, so it's Arvo's fault for Luke's death. And as a result of his death, tensions between Mike, Bonnie, and Kenny begin to rise, and the group begins to fall apart. Mike and Bonnie, being the gullible pieces of shits that they are, then try to leave with Arvo, and when Clem tries to stop them, Arvo shoots her. So let's recap, because of Arvo:
* Mike got shot.
* Luke got shot.
* His entire group is dead.
* Luke is dead (and Bonnie could be dead).
* Tensions rise, causing the group to fall apart.
* Mike and (determinant) Bonnie betray the group.
* Clem gets shot and left to die.
I really don't see how anyone could forgive them for what they did, especially Arvo. They're traitors and left two kids to die and they showed no signs of regret or doubt. I wouldn't want those kind of people around me if I was trying to survive in that world. I'm all for giving second chances but only for the people who actually deserve it, people who truly deeply regret what they did and will try to be better persons in the future.
But it unfortunately doesn't seem to be the case with these three people, they left even knowing that Clem was almost going to die, they didn't even let any food for the others, they took everything because they only thought about themselves.
I get that they didn't like Kenny but what about Clem, the baby and even Jane ? Did they even consider what would happen to them without the food and the car ?
And for Arvo, I couldn't forgive him because first of all he lied about Clem stealing from him, then he remains cold towards Clem even if she is nice to him and defends him against Kenny, and then of course he tries to kill her when she's just a child! It's funny because I actually really liked Arvo in episode 4 because I felt that he was a nice guy and that he could become our friend, and I was nice to him throughout episode 5. I was really disappointed in him. Now I don't think I would kill them if we ever see them again, but I would certainly not forgive them and I wouldn't stay with them.
I never said my opinion made me right, where the hell did you get that from? And since they never provided Arvo's side of the story, you can't say he's completely innocent in all this either. There are two sides to everything, yes, but we never got it, so we have to make our own assumptions based on the information provided. Unless Telltale provides information on Arvo's side of the story, then I will reconsider, but until I receive it, I'm not changing my opinion of him.

Natasha doesn't really want to do it either (Vitali's also hesitant, but he will threaten the group):
Buricko: Come on Arvo - Why aren't they cooperating?
Arvo: I'm trying!
Natasha: Then try harder!
Vitali: I don't like this. Just make them put their guns down, Arvo.
Natasha: He's trying. Just be patient.
Vitali: I'm tired of being patient.
Natasha: Just get the medicine back! This is crazy!
Buricko: You! Gun down!
Vitali: Buricko STOP! You're going to get us ALL killed!!
Natasha: Arvo - Why wouldn't they listen to us?
Vitali: Because they're stubborn Americans. They wouldn't listen and now we're all screwed!
Buricko: Don't try and be fucking cowboys - You're all out of your goddamn league!
Natasha: Are you out of your mind? What the hell do you think you're doing? You're going to get us all killed! Hey! You! Don't point that thing at me! Put it down! I said put it down

I've watched the end of Amid the Ruins a lot of times but I don't ever remember hearing the Russians have so many lines, are those unused or were they actually in the game? Never heard this translation before.

That's unfair, I think I would forgive them if they didn't act like assholes right away. Also MB&A aren't Termites and are no where close to their level of evil.

For those saying they would forgive them. What they did in season 2 might just be the beginning..... They might do a whole lot of other shit in the next game.
Mike - I can forgive. He fell for Arvo's kicked puppy routine just like many have fallen for Clementine's. And he did try to reason with Insane Kenny numerous times only for him to keep escalating, so I can see why he'd be fed up and ready to go. In the end, the man was just trying to do the right thing... just turns out it wasn't. As long as he is genuinely remorseful and willing to make amends, I can let it go.
Bonnie - Sold us out to Carver, blamed Clem for Luke's death even though she's the one who fucked up, and participated in the episode 5 heel turn. This bitch has 3 strikes, and gets zero sympathy from me. She doesn't get to live.
Arvo - At this point I still want him dead, but that might change. After a few months I've had time to try and see things from his perspective, and I've softened up a little bit, but I'm not ready to forgive yet.
I actually don't really know how to feel about them...
I liked Mike and Bonnie a lot (especially Bonnie), and then they went out and betrayed Clementine and left her to die (because, let's be real, they probably think Clem is dead). Really made me upset, I certainly wouldn't kill them if (when?) we see them again, but I don't know if I could forgive them either.
It'd be interesting to see Arvo apologize though. I know he was an ass, but I never saw him as someone who'd try shoot a child. Hopefully he's feeling real guilty about that...
It'll be great to see if he feels guilty about it, especially if someone explains to him that his sister had already turned, and Clementine was nice to him the whole time and never stole. The three of them probably think she's dead. I hope the guilt fucking eats away at him or however that saying goes.

I think it'd be really awesome if he felt super guilty about it, not only because he deserves that but because it'd twist our expectations from what we've come to expect from the typical "villain". Also, right after he shoots Clementine he seems to almost immediately react with extreme guilt, however that could also just be him realizing how badly he screwed up (or, most likely, a combination of the two).

Mike is still cool. I'm glad he survived the Season when so many other people didn't (Especially when some of them really should have too).
Bonnie? Kind of a bitch. I'm some sort of neutral about her.
Arvo? Fuck that guy.
Killing for vengeance is one of the biggest weakness of all.
I think it'd be really awesome if he felt super guilty about it, not only because he deserves that but because it'd twist our expectations from what we've come to expect from the typical "villain".
