Is Kenny racist?
We all know that he referred to Lee as an "urban" in the first season, as well as that he makes several racist remarks to Russians in S2. Specifically refering to Arvo as "A comie piece of shit", my question is while Kenny may only be mildly racist will it get him into trouble in S3? By the way Kenny is one of my favourite characters.

No he's not racist, he just say things that he probably heard in his home state Florida. But for Arvo, he was just so angry at him that he decided to yelled at him with all mean possible.
naw in kenny's situation he was so angry it blocked it reasonable thinking so he just went on a rant at arvo in the most mean possible words possible
Like a lot of white Southerners (such as Vernon), he's casually racist. It's realistically subtle, which is why the 'urban' moment in Season 1 worked so well - even though he genuinely respected Lee as an equal, the stereotypes of African-Americans linger in his head and sometimes these subconscious fears slipped out.
In Season 2, his girlfriend was likely meant to be a prop to show how Not-Racist Kenny is. Even though it's pretty common for white men to be attracted to foreign women while hating on their men. That's why post-brain damaged Kenny is pretty bigoted towards Arvo - apparently the writers thought that since Russians were white, Kenny being prejudiced towards them couldn't possibly be racist.
No he's just from Florida. Crazy shit just comes out of his mouth sometimes
I don't see why would you assume that? Sarita was sort of black-ish, he was pissed at the Russian guy, he came with Lee to save Clem without a doubt ( in my game) . Clementine is also black so i don't see how could he be a racist.
I know he's not racist in the way that he would he would hurt people from different races for no reason, i'm just saying that he might get in trouble over the things he says.
I mean very mild subtle racism.
Well he IS from Florida.....yup, that's all the explanation needed.
I didn't get that idea but who knows. Maybe deep deep deep inside without even knowing he is he is xD
I am definitely not a racist but i think we all somewhere inside think of some nation as bad/good even though the truth is no nation coulld be like that, there are all sorts of people everywehere.
I live in a country where more than half of a nation are racists and hate a LOT of other nations, i found it weird at first but hell you get used to it.
Racist? Nahh. He stereotypes alot tho.
Rascist, no (calling someone a communist is not racist). Stereotypical, yes.
In trouble from all the dead "people"?
I'm not racist, but...
Don't involve this into our game.
Sarita's Indian, but as I said it's not rare at all for men to be attracted to foreign women while still being racist towards other men.
In trouble with Lee. Or Arvo. Or any kind of foreigner who he rubs the wrong way.
I am sorry but don't involve what?
I'm sorry to bother, but I have to ask. Which country do you live in?
No problem, Serbia. Where are you from? And why do you ask?
Hello neighbour. I'm from Croatia. Did you just join here?
Oh hey that is great Yeah, not too long ago What about you?
Oh BTW i love Croatia, i spent my last summer over there. One of the best vocations ever and people were so nice
I joined on Christmas last year.
I joined this summer
Absolutely, I thought it was obvious he was a racist.
Doubt it. Katjaa seemed Belgian and had a child with her. Best buds with Lee ,a black man, when the ZA hit. In S2 his girl was Sarita an Indian women. Then he became best friends was an 11 year old little black girl. Plus I'm sure he was cool with Walter and Mathew (Asian fella) being gay. He can act a bit ignorant yes, but who doesn't from time to time.
George Zimmerman, the Miami Zombie, Elian Gonzalez, and Marco Rubio, let's be honest, a lot of messed up things come out of Florida...
I'm not sure how old you are, I don't mean to be offensive, and I don't want to bring up any hard memories, but there is sort of a background to a lot of the ethnic tension in that area...
You forgot Casey Anthony.
Oh jeez, that was Florida too...
The only messed up cases I know where I'm from is Louise Woodward and the Craigslist Killer.
This got morbid quick...
I know that perfectly but I think we should all get along since we had nothing to do with that.
That I'll certainly agree to -
I know that but i in paticular don't hate someone because of their nation. You are born where you are born. Yes there were and are tensions, at least in Serbia. In a "war" both sides make mistakes and i don't really care, should i be mad at Germans because of World War 2?
What do you think about Šešelj?
Honestly i despise the guy. I don't even know why the cameras are shooting him his speeches are disguisting. He is mentally ill.
Saying someone is "Urban" is no different than someone calling me a Hick for living in the country. It might be a little offensive but it's not really about race as it is about where you live. A white guy who had lived in a shitty part of Detroit would be urban.
In my opinion racism is how you live. It's like someone who believes a religion. It's a strong belief. Just because someone says something out of humor, or anger doesn't mean they are racist.
Your point? People shouldn't be silenced because of people who get offended. What does that mean anyways? "I'm offended by that". Well so fucking what? Because you're offended I shouldn't be able to say what I like? That's placing someone else's right above mine based on how they feel.
I agree, but some people can be over sensitive.

Yeah after all Florida doesn't have a huge amount of different types of people. I mean Cubans, blacks, Hispanic... Yeah they don't have any real variety :Insert sarcasm:
Nope, the whole "urban" thing was just him making an assumption based on stereotypes. If he was racist, I highly doubt he would have been as friendly as he was to Lee initially.
As for his comments toward the Russians, I think he was just pissed off and automatically resorted to the easiest means to insult them. And as others have pointed out, both of his love interests were foreign.
