That doesnt change the fact that he was willing to let Clementine get raped and murdered by the Stranger for all he knew, just because Lee didn't agree with him on something. I personally think that the best and hardest decision in season 2 involves Kenny (the choice between him and Jane).
And also the best scenes in this season also involves Kenny somehow, such as: His revival appearence (I never smiled so much while playing a game before), Carver's death, and both endings (the scene where you kill him and the scene in Wellington)
For me, Kenny was the best supporting character of both seasons, and a positive point in season 2.
I mean, I'll never call a character that made me cry overrated.
For me, a example of a overrated character is Daryl from the TV show, he was a great character in s1 and s2 but after that he became the "hot guy that draws fangirls" kind of character.
So no, Kenny isn't overrated to me. That's just my personal opinion though. I respect yours and I don't want to get in the middle of these stupid Kenny is god vs Kenny is devil's fights

But even if in other playthroughs he "continues to be good", which I doubt, leopards dont change their spots that much, not if the writing is consistent, I'm not going to suddenly be his biggest fan. I'll acknowledge that at least he's trying to change, but that's all.

He is also dead in 70% of playthroughs which means we probably won't ever have to see his overrated face again. Good riddance.
