I suppose. And again, I'm going to give this game a chance because it actually looks pretty damn good. Maybe I'm just reading the whole formula thing too deeply.
Actually, I think competition will be a good thing in some ways. You never know what we can get out of this if Telltale makes improvements to their formula based off of responses to the competition.

It makes me sad how so many people are complaining about the graphics. Just because a game has "good graphics" doesn't mean it has an amazing story.

I don't like time travel much but, SquareEnix !!! If I'm lucky by then I'll have a computer that can play it... My cheap 2010 laptop (it's shittiness is becoming a point of pride at this point) is dying more and more each month...

As of Chapter 6 i think I'm at, that game's story is GARBAGE.
Yeah I'll be pre-ordering this after the holidays. Graphics don't look that impressive in the trailer, but I like the artstyle and character designs. And if the story and gameplay even reach only half of their potential.. Yes I am excited.
2015 looks to be the year of episodic gaming for me. I'll be playing this, Tales from the borderlands, Game of thrones, and Dreamfall chapters. Don't forget Dreamfall! Much better gameplay than the recent Telltale games in my opinion.
yeah this look enjoyable. I'll differently get it, it being a episode game it will fill tie waiting for tell-tale's game of thrones and borderlands episodes. I have to admit since I got a stream account I am getting a big kick from small well made indie games.
like Heavy Rain huh? well I hope they mean its like heavy emotional story that is based on choices you make. not the really bad controls. I haven't played Heavy Rain but I get basic story behind it, however games with really bad controls will always put me off for playing games.

I'm kind of mixed on this game so far From seeing the interview with gameplay and the trailer but I'll give it a chance by buying the first Episode once it releases or at least after seeing some reviews.
As much as I hope this game turns out good I'm also kind of worried. Their hasn't really been alot of advertising or hype for this.

Doesn't matter. Sometimes the best games are the ones that aren't hyped to death. They are the ones that surprise you in a good way.

Thought this was a Telltale game at first. I haven't been this excited for something from Square since Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Pros:
Beautiful Graphics ( Not AAA Graphics ) what are facing the artistic side.
Showed a Good Story ( Until now ) and carismatic characters ( The protagonist, owh god '-' )
Cons:
It's a 16+ Game, this means... well, no too much blood =/
The gameplay don't show why the Episodic Content exist... let's wait and see.
