I was shearching for a good game in a game store. Then I saw the walking dead telltale game box. I borrow it and fall in love with the series. Then I've found the tv show and then I've found the comics.
Well, technically CSI, but no one likes to talk about that one. I wasn't around literally since the beginning, but I was around since Wallace and Gromit, so it's close enough

My friends told me about it and Telltale in general and I got the first game for a review. Fell in love with it immediately and it's now in my top ten best games list. Got the second game as soon as I could. Led me right to the TV show on Netflix.
I saw my friend playing TWD Season 2 on his cell phone, and I decided around 5 minutes later to get the game, starting from the 1st one obviously. I don't watch the show.

Lol no I can't. But the way I see it, with all their other IPs, they had to play within the bounds of the universe. Now they're doing minecraft, and they can literally do anything. I don't have high hopes for it, but I know they won't let us down.
I saw it on the steam store and i just said "Huh. Looks interesting", then i bought it. I also think i saw someone play it on YouTube but i didn't recognize the game.

I was with my friend and we were looking for free games on the app store and episode 1 of TTGs the walking dead had just been made free. We… more beat the first episode together and thought it was real awesome. I played the first episode with him and it took me a whole year before I got back into it and bought all the other episodes. I have played the game four times now and I never get bored of it. I am gonna buy it on pc soon because TTG games on the app store suck.
Sigh.
PewDiePie got me hooked when he released his first video of S1E1. Ever since then, I was majorly obsessed and to be honest, it's the only thin I think/care about.
I saw it on the steam store and i just said "Huh. Looks interesting", then i bought it. I also think i saw someone play it on YouTube but i didn't recognize the game.
I was introduced to the show through a Youtube promotion video.
And the game, I saw some people playing it. I didn't thought much about it at the time, then I read the stories in Walking Dead wiki and notices how Lee can built relations with other characters, I decided to give it a try.
And I have been playing other Telltale Games ever since.
I finished watching Outlast on Pewdiepie's YouTube channel, so I was looking for a new horror/game series.
Near that was the Walking Dead… more S2, so I started with S1, watched it through and was mesmerised by it.
Soon after I went and bought S1, played that. Soon after I got S2, I learned of the TV show.
I watched that, and enjoyed just as much. It was a re-run of S4, so I went out and got the boxset. Watched S1-3
Then I bought the Governor books, then Survival Instinct (Not as bad as people say). The only thing I have yet to get is the comics.
And here I am now, eagerly awaiting S3 of the game and S5 part 2 of the TV show.
Good Times!
I remember a YouTuber I watch had played season one about 1-2 years ago and I decided based on the first episode that it was a game I wanted to play, so I got it myself and once I finished I watched her playthrough and we made some very similar choices. Now it is my favorite TellTale game. No, its definitely just my all time favorite game

Can you believe TT are now doing Minecraft?

My mum loves Final Fantasy.

We both have the 1-3 Season boxset, high five.
I downloaded the demo for season 1 off of PSN out of sheer boredom and was instantly hooked. Still don't watch the show.
The show is just as awesome, I think you would enjoy it.

I agree with you, S1 was also my favourite Telltale game.
