Unpopular opinions thread
There are many opinions on this forum, as well unpopular ones. Post your own jaded, weird, sadistic, or simply looked down upon views on Telltale Games The Walking Dead.
Let me get you started
I'm not a bad fan of Chuck
I like "Amid the Ruins" more than I did " No Going Back".
I thought that Nick was WAY more interesting than Luke.
I had more fun playing as Clem than I did Lee.
Oh this should be fun : /

Here we go.
-I liked Amid the Ruins (and most of season 2)
-I liked season 2 more than season 1
-I thought Nick was a pretty over hyped character
That's basically all I can think of for now
I like Kenny.

Here's some more:
I think people overreacted with Kenny and Bonnie yelling at Clem
In Harm's Way and Amid The Ruins were awesome
I like Season 2 just as much as 1
I liked playing as Clem more than Lee
I liked Troy
That´s not unpopular. It´s just most of the people that comment are either extreme fanobys or haters
I like season 2 way more than season 1.
I thought Clem was a far more compelling protagonist than Lee.
The Jane endings in season 2 are far more thematically and emotionally truthful than the Kenny or solo endings.
Community forgive me...
Troy was the boy
Really? I would defiantly say his hate has FAR outlasted his support at this point. At least here.
-I despise Clementine and love Duck and Sarah
-I wanted the option to shoot Mike to be kept in the game
-I wanted the option to actually make Jane dislike the player so we didnt have to deal with her shit (but then again, that might have lead to a lackluster ending)
-I barely gave 2 shits about Luke, and was heavily unphased by his death (i did care a little but really it should have been Nick and/or Sarah to last till ep 5 not him)
-Arvo's my third favorite character
-I can't bring myself to really care about Clem anymore, she's just really uninteresting.
Winston is my favorite.
My overall favourite is Bill Carver.
JESUS ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!?
I thought Nick, Sarah and Mike were quite 'vanilla' characters and I wasn't that interested in them, I liked them (maybe not Mike so much after episode 5) but I didn't feel a connection with them
Also, my favourite character is Luke (not including Clem and Lee) which seems to be an unpopular opinion.
Jane is my favorite character from season 2.
I did not have a problem with the way anyone died in either game.
I think a lot of people (myself included) wanted that kept in the game.
I like Arvo.
...That counts, right? I can't think of any other ones because I am not sure what exactly is considered completely unpopular. I hated No Going Back too, I guess that's not very common...
I don't find Clem as an interesting or unique character anymore, nor have I ever found her "badass". Also, I hated Sarah and was happy we had the option to leave her.
That title though.
I was really disappointed that it wasn't an option considering you you can draw a gun on them
I'm sorry if I sound stupid but... is that a complement or...
I just like the misspell. :P
Oh! Oops hold on.
Let ,me think what I've gotten heat for......
I did not mind how Nick and Sarah died in episode 4... well maybe a little.
I don't like Clem cursing.
I think Jane is a better guardian out of the two.
I'm sorry, but I just can't get over this image
"HOLY FUCK LOOK OUT IT'S A GIANT O"
1.i think people overreacted at kenny losing his shit at clem in amid the ruins
2.i enjoyed season 2 just as much as season 1
3.i don't love nick THAT much
I didn't give water to him either because I wanted him to talk about Christa first...
I think that Clementine Should Have Been a Lesbian with Sarah. I Love Kenny and Jane, I rather have Clem die than luke, and I find episode 4 the most enjoyable episode of the franchise. Now If you'll excuse me, I'll be in my flame war bunker.
i actually think in harms way and a house divided were the only 2 great episodes in season 2, so you arent alone. and i dont like long road ahead either
I hate season 2 Clementine. There I said it.
i think people DID overreact too ye >.> i was like "do these people not know his character by now or....?"
Luke was way too generic and boring for me to care about him.
Molly annoyed me, whereas Duck and Sarah did not.
I fed Ben in Starved for Help and pitied him immensely.
I'm pretty indifferent towards Christa and Omid.
Chuck wasn't that great a guy.
I don't want Clementine as season 3's protagonist, and felt a lot less affectionate towards her in season 2. I like Lee more than her.
I can't stand sassy/"badass" Clementine.
I wish there were more options to express your dislike of Jane. "You want a cookie?" wasn't good enough for me.
I don't hate Bonnie or Arvo.
Nick's death in Amid the Ruins didn't affect me because I already knew he was screwed.
I cringed at Jane's "heroic" return in No Going Back since I wanted her to stay gone.
People overreact to Kenny and Bonnie taking their anger out on Clementine.
I thought Reggie patting Clementine on the head was cute.
I want a completely fresh start in season 3.
I find Clementine as a boring character, with little redeeming value. Season two pretty much killed my love for her.
I liked Arvo, i thought he was a excellent villain, and hope to see more of him in the future. He used his manipulation skills to get what he wanted.
I didn't care for Luke, his good boyness felt like a act, all the way up to the end. When he died, i actually laughed and compared it to titanic. LUKE NOOOoooooooooooooooooooo. LOL, who cares.
I loved the part when Clementine gets Yelled at by Kenny/Bonnie, because it makes the characters imo feel more alive.
I wanted an option to leave AJ behind in the car.
When the shootout was over, everyone was crying over Rebecca. I was making jokes about sleeping in a tire, leaves you drunk and on fire.
I was mad when Kenny came back. It felt "i got lucky, really lucky."
I disliked Jane's character immensely. She felt so fake, it wasn't real. I felt like i was talking to a brick wall. The ultimate survivor/ no emotion/ whatever man. I mean i got PTSD, but my funny side is still there.
I disliked Christa's character. I found her to be annoying, and bossy. I always wanted the option in my dialogue speeches to say, "Keep your opinions to yourself."
I disliked Omid, he was a doofus.
I loved Ben, he was my favorite character i think in this game. I really hoped he would get redemption for Season one, but he ends up dying in Savanna. He reminded me of my kid brother, stupid and helpless.
I didn't care for Carley/Doug, i thought they were pretty bland to be honest, then when she died, i actually understood why Lilly did it.
I felt sorry for Larry and especially Lilly.
I didn't know Alvin's name until he was dead, alvin is a one of the worst characters imo in this season.
I liked Carver, and Troy.
I still like Bonnie /Mike and even Arvo to some degree.
Is Nate still unpopular, he was when i liked him. I don't want him to be in Season three because i feel the writers would probably ruin his character, at this point. After season two, i rather nate stay unknown status. I don't want them Kenny'ing him.
Going to Wellington seemed pointless, and driving all the way back equally pointless. Why didn't they just go back to the cabin, or the ski resort with tons of food.
LOL Reggie, i thought it was funny. Hey Reggie, come down here for a sec LOL.
All That Remains is underrated and the best episode of Season 2.
People give Carver too much sympathy and act like episode 3 ruined him - he's a great villain, but not a likable charcter.
Kenny's appearance in Season 2 devalues his death in the first season.
Arvo deserves sympathy.
Carlos sucks.
Luke had one of the most dignified deaths in the Season.
No Going Back may very well be the worst episode in the franchise.
People are too hard on Clementine.
Bonnie and Mike don't deserve blind hatred.
If you mess up with Winston, Victor (water guy) is the one who tells him to "finish the girl" i.e. murder Clementine.
Glad to see another person who hates Clementine.
If I was gonna to make an actual list for this thread our's would be exactly the same.
This is so true for me, when it was released everyone hated it immensely.
