Can I ask why everyone is so Against Clementine having a Love interest? I mean, Yeah, she's Young. But when you were younger, are you telling me you Never had a Boy/Girlfriend, or were attracted to people? It's normal for Clem, and It's not like it's going to ruin the, Quote Unquote, "Precious Little Girl" She is. If Clem is gonna find Love, so Be it. But I really don't think it's that Big a deal if she has romance in her Life.
EDIT: I am NOT talking about a Twilight Style love story, I mean a Little Crush, Her being Interested in someone maybe. And This Thread is not a "What I wanted in Season 2" Thread, This is a Thread about season 3.

Clem should only focus on AJ and herself.
Plus, she's 11. Any relationships at that age isn't serious, most of the time.
She's only 11, a crush would be fine IMO but I think it's way too early for her to have an actual love interest :P
Because playing as an 11 year old would be kinda just weird to get involved with a love interest. Also they would just die because apparently everyone dies but Clem

Clem's still too young for a love interest. And since Telltale is going for "realism", the love interest would get killed off anyways.
I'd be up for Clementine having a love interest I don't see why not.
Maybe if Clem's lucky, her potential love interest will have Kenny's brand of "realism".
2 reasons why people might be against it are:
1) Romance (whether it's romantic comedy or romantic drama) has never really been a big part of the games. It could be risky to suddenly try and make it a big part now.
2) In the case of Clementine, like another poster said, she is too young to really have any kind of serious love interest.

I'm not against a romance for Clementine. I know when I was 11 I was super boy crazy (I've been boy crazy as long as I can remember, come to think of it)... And a love interest can be just a simple unrequited crush, so I say, why not?
Clementine doesn't need a relationship yet to be honest. Having a baby to take care of ya know?
Ofcourse they could show her having a crush on some kid ( before he gets eaten by a walker ).
But obviously they cant show an 11y.o. in a 'serious' relationship without being accused of implying rape.

The longest time skip Telltale can do is two years, and then she'll only be 13. She's got the social knowledge of a first grader. Unless Christa's taught her about this stuff, she might not even feel comfortable with a love interest. And what's she going to do with them anyway?
Agreed. Clementine doesn't need a relationship since she won't be doing anything with them, really.

im not for or against it but it would just cheapen the whole experience for me,she's a little girl and not sure she has time between looking for a safe haven and coping with the trauma of seeing everyone she loved hacked to death or bitten to be thinking about swaping spit with a cute boy...

Well what's wrong with being LGBT? I mean, yeah, It makes no sense for Her to have those feelings AND have a Love interest, But nothings wrong with it.
I agree, however didn't they do a long-ish time skip in the comics? I have the impression that in The Walking Dead Vol. 22: A New Beginning the time skip is by about 3 years or so.

Can't say for the others but I personally treat her like a daughter ever since Season 1, that's why. The devs will surely force a romance with a creep like Arvo, and I don't want this to happen to #MyClementine.
Depends what you mean. Sexual? Hell no. Romantic? Hmm, maybe. I don't think I'd have a big problem with it, she's eleven most people start to explore relationships at that age, they only become serious at 13, maybe 14. But I think it would only work in the game if it was determinant.
I don't know. I kinda like to believe she had some kind of one-side crush on Luke or something. (NO I'M NOT SHIPPING CLUKE!) But her having some kind puppy love would be pretty cute.
