Yeah...I'm not very hyped so far.
Main problem I'm already seeing with the mini series is how Michonne's guaranteed plot armor is going t… moreo dampen tension and concern for her wellbeing, since she'll never canonically die. Why fear for her safety if she's not going to die no matter what choice we make (that is if Telltale still uses the choice formula in this game)?
I think the supporting cast are going to have to step up their game if the mini-series is going to work, since they're the ones that will make or break the game.

Yeah i agree, i miss her sooo much. Maybe its better that we have to wait even longer to see her again so that when we do see her it will be amazing and it gives her story a bit more 'breathing room' if you like.

Why didnt they just make something like 400 days or, here is a grand idea, CONTINUE WITH THE ESTABLISHED TWD GAME - such as season 3. Or, maybe use one of the side characters from that, like Lilly, to make a mini series. Who gives a shit about Michonne and her "I smell fart" face? Very disappointed.

I dont know about other Telltale games, but I havent seen tropes of unhappy TWD fans. So your assertion is pretty unfair and dismissive.

It works for TFTB series because the game is self-aware about paradoxes whenever Rhys and Fiona 'dies' for the sake of humour, and it fits the theme of the game.
Here, the series is much darker and serious in tone, hence why the exact same death paradox formula will be difficult to pull off.
Nevertheless I'm serious when I say that the series could work, so as long as the supporting cast attains a strong focus in the story (ala Mad Max: Fury Road).

It seems like the one who is SUPER STOKED LIKE FOR REALS and TOTALLY ADORES MICHONNE is David Alpert so maybe he should have made this game for himself instead of unloading unto fans who didnt even ask for it. Shit.

I think this is a bit different. When minecraft was announced people went nuts and started to hate it just because it is related to Minecraft. In this case most of the people are disappointed but will buy the game.
