  • Well i personally am happy jake that telltale is doing some more walking dead to hold us over i just dont like how everyone in whining about it when telltale is trying to do good for the fans

People are just mad it's not who they wanted to play as. This not being what people hoped is a good reason for them to be disappointed.

  • Christa would have caught my interest instead of Michonne.

Screw that 'sometimes unknown characters stay unknown forever' crap, Christa deserves better.

Not sure if it was posted already ,sry.Credit Jake.

  • Well like the tv-series appears around the time when rick and the gang are at the prison shes mysterious but later on we learn she was in a camp with her and her boyfriend and child and her boyfriend's friend the others left the camp later on but her and her family and her boyfriend's friend stayed the camp later go over run told by michonne and her boyfriend and his friend were high at the time so they got killed and her son did too she became a loner at that point and turned her boyfriend and his friend into pet walkers knocking off they're jaw and cutting off they're arms thats pretty much the tv version i think the comic version is close to that in some way or form since they are about the same but im not sure

Guys, sorry about that but I don't watch the tv show/don't read the comics, so yeah, I've heard about her but I have no idea who she is. Can someone tell me anything about her? Cause I'll definitely play it.

  • Happy for what the mini-series?

  • Ok heres michonne from the comic's backstory

In the early stages of the outbreak, Michonne runs on foot to her house. This attracts a street full of zombies to follow her. While she arrives home, she meets her boyfriend, Mike and his brave, but, idiotic best friend, Terry. A zombie tries to break in, but, Mike kills it. In the process, Mike gets bitten. At that time, Michonne bandages Mike, who is unaware that he is infected. That night, Michonne searches a neighbor's house for supplies and discovers her trademark sword. She gets pinned down in the house during the night and returns home the next day, finding that both Mike and Terry have become zombies. She manages to survive their attack and lock them away. Her noisy encounter causes her street to become overrun. Michonne becomes trapped and runs out of food. She notices zombies don't attack one another and hacks off the arms and lower jaws of Mike and Terry. She chains them up by their necks to use them as escorts for an escape that was successful. Michonne says her final words to the zombified Mike and Terry, to help remember who they are, and because she has no one to talk to.

The 1 previous is tv series michonne's backstory

  • Guys, please remember to keep discussion civil. Constructive disagreement is fine, but please don't resort to personal insults. Thanks.

  • If you are disappointed or feel let down that you cannot play as a game character previously introduced, or that they don't appear to be included in this DLC, you only have yourselves to blame for expecting or hoping them to be involved. I mean, they clearly said it wouldn't be centered on previous game characters, exactly what could you have expected? You should have been against the idea before now.

And a 3 episode mini-series guys!! Whatever the focus was going to be, that is just awesome!

  • Oh thank you Leh! I hope Telltale knows how to handle a canon character :P

  • You know what? I thought about it and I'm giving this a chance, maybe i'll end up really liking it... Don't disappoint Telltale!

It's not a 400 days remake, it's a three episode mini series based off comic book Michonne and is unrelated to the events in season 2.

I feel a bit disappointed. What is it, a 400 Days remake?

  • Dude have u read the comics? if not i could tell u both michonnes from tvseries and comic's backstory to give more info on the character it would help u out info wise

  • Personally I wish they wouldn't have made an already established character be the protagonist for a whole mini series, but whatever. Hopefully they can pull it off.

No its not a 400 days remake its a standalone series that would star a comic book character it wont affect s3 so dont worry its just gonna be a 3 episode series with michonne its to hold people over for s3

Heres the info on it below from the blog post from a staff member of telltale for info on it

The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Games Mini-Series stars the iconic character from the comic book series haunted by her past and coping with unimaginable loss and regret. The story explores her untold journey during the time between issues #126 and #139. Through this Telltale Games mini-series of 3 episodes, players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.

You can expect to see the premiere this fall on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and compatible iOS and Android-based devices. You'll need at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two in order to play The Walking Dead: Michonne, but we'll have more info on that for you closer to the premiere date.

So why did we choose Michonne for Telltale's first-ever mini-series? Robert Kirkman and Telltale's own Kevin Bruner can tell you more...

"In many ways, Michonne herself is a reflection of the world of The Walking Dead. She is brutal and cold on the outside, but deep beneath what is broken, she remains hopeful, trying to claw her way out of the darkness that surrounds her," said Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead. "In our effort to bring the world of the comic and the world of the Telltale series closer together, there is no greater character than Michonne to help bridge that gap."

"Michonne's complexity and range make her an ideal lead for the compelling interactive drama fans have come to expect from Telltale," said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. "With this mini-series, players will experience Michonne's challenges first-hand, and the choices they make will shape her journey. We're incredibly honored by Robert for the opportunity to share this untold story in The Walking Dead universe."

I feel a bit disappointed. What is it, a 400 Days remake?

  • I am really looking forward to this. I love Michonne and I love the series, I haven't read the comics though. It's a shame that not many people think that way. I for myself know that I am really going to enjoy this. :)

Like @ozzyuk said lemme say what its gonna pretty much be it says michonne disappears in issue 126 so its gonna show her journey in between issue 129-139 so overall its gonna be a fun new adventure from a comic character perspective u can expect telltale to combine a good comic character with they're good writing skills its a formula for success

telltale is a good company they care about fans they like to do these to hold fans over because they care about us fans indeed they do

    Pre-Apocalypse

Michonne was one of four children that included a brother and two sisters. She practiced fencing when she was a child, and briefly picked the hobby up again when she was in college to study law. After graduating and getting her degree, she became a successful attorney and married a man with whom she had two daughters. They lived an average middle-class life in a suburban neighborhood, and often dealt with a troublesome teenager next door who she swore had once killed their cat and destroyed their fence with his katana. She spent much of her free time weightlifting and avidly following televised football.

She eventually divorced her husband and at some point started dating another man named Mike. She was out of town when the outbreak began, she lost contact with her two daughters whom she had left in the care of a nanny. Michonne does not know the whereabouts of her children, or whether they remain alive.

    Post-Apocalypse

in the early stages of the outbreak, Michonne runs on foot to her house. This attracts a street full of zombies to follow her. While she arrives home, she meets her boyfriend, Mike and his brave, but, idiotic best friend, Terry. A zombie tries to break in, but, Mike kills it. In the process, Mike gets bitten. can someone please explain why people are so mad at this? if you don't like michonne then yea fair enough i can see your point but i have seen people complain because the hype for the announcement is ruined because they haven't read the comics yet telltale said like 2 days before that it will please comic fans and it will have no connection whatsoever to previous game characters so what is the deal here? in some way it was expected to be something like this well at least to me honestly it's not that bad at least we are getting more twd and lets be realistic it's better that we are getting something that isn't another 400 days where they bullshit about it connecting to the next season

  • That's the problem for me. 400 Days is too unrelated and unfocused, unless you think those 1 sec cameos (except Bonnie) really mean a lot to the story. I still wish the devs made a better thing to fill the gap between the seasons.
