Kenny/Jane won't be around long enough for season 3
I think it's pretty obvious that no matter which decision you choose, kenny or jane will have to die in season 3.
I mean, you can kill both of them in season two already right? No matter which decision we make, clementine will always travel alone until she finds another group of survivors. But telltale said that season 3 would be 'bigger', so maybe they will be able to make kenny or jane live through the rest of the game ? I dunno.. any opinions?

Unless there's a time skip and we're just left assuming they're both dead (as was with Christa's unborn child).
Only Nick Breckon and Telltale-people knows this secret :Р
We may just get seperated at some point.
I'd like to believe that, with the combination of people complaining about choices and determinant characters from Season 2 and how much time they have to work on Season 3, they will find a way to keep both Kenny and Jane involved with the game and have our endings play a somewhat important role in Season 3. I'm sure at some point our endings will eventually lead us to the same point and that they will both be killed, but I do think that they will play an important role in Season 3 and will be around for a good part of the game.
How can that be when one or both is definitively dead at the end of season two?
When you wish upon a star...
They may not be around that long during Season Three but people will be fighting over them until the end of it.
Considering Season 3 is still a long way away, I actually think Telltale is working on making Season 2's ending all work out, without Kenny/Jane just dying for the sake of plot
I agree, even if it's more of a personality thing with Clem's dialogue choices based on who she ended up with. I also like the idea people have put forward of choosing whether or not to let her drink or smoke in Season 2 having an impact on Season 3.
They will be killed off in the first 10 mins of S3 i reckon or they will be left with unknown statuses. Either way, TTG won't make a whole game with either Kenny or Jane alive throughout it. It would be like making 2 different games unless their roles were identical to the story. The other thing that could happen is a time jump and neither even appear in the game
They're lazy at the moment. If they weren't, Carley or Doug would have been in Season 2.
I can tell you that they won't be around past the early part of Episode 1. I'm not sure if they'll actually die. They could do a time skip, writing them out of Season 3 entirely, and leave their fates ambiguous, or they could pull a Christa and have you be separated from them.
Right. That's what i was thinking too. Like when they killed omid on the first episode of season 2.. he was my second favourite character too . Damn telltale. Why do you keep making likeable characters, then kill them afterwards.? Instead, you let jerky characters survive the whole game..
I bet christa's gonna be in season 3 and clementine's gonna do the 'I thought you were dead'
That's the comics right there. Negan is still alive.
But even if they did a time skip, wouldn't that made telltale had to develop a whole game maybe like season 4 (if they manage to make one though) with the characters living in the game but was suppose to be dead ages ago? I mean, what if you choose to kill both of them in season 2?
Negan or Megan??
I see you understand what i'm trying to say here
I'd like to imagine you'd find Kenny again 1/2 way through the story if you chose the Wellington without Kenny ending, or if you left Jane, but this is Telltale, they'd probably gross you out finding Jane or Kenny get killed 5 minutes into the first episode.
Negan the barbed wire stick beating guy!
I don't think I understand your questions. For a time skip, they leave Kenny/Jane's fate ambiguous, and we never see them again.
In the case of a time skip, the ending of Season 2 just wouldn't impact the rest of the series. If you don't go with a time skip, there are three possible opening scenes: one with Kenny, one with Jane, and one with just Clem. Then they'll converge quickly.
Oh that guy.. ..
Sorry man, it's pretty hard to explain just by typing ..
I really hope that Jane would survive the whole season or even the game. I love her. But 1. knowing walking dead, they kill everyone you love most of all, and well everyone nevertheless 2. It might be too big of a job to keep Kenny\Jane alive the whole season. But it would be cool to hang on that feeling to have someone you like with you longer with your journey. That "it will be bigger" I hope that means they've worked with that. And it might mean it there would be more long lasting choices. I've wondered a lot how massive it would be to do that kind of a game that the choices would make so many layers to the game. Lots of work. It would be like making that game, is like making 3 games all together or so, and multiply. Would be sweet but damn thinking about that. Walking dead is not that long lasting game though, the season. So, just thinking of the re-playing value if so... Also just thinking of the work with more seasons...
Most likely they will get Omided with the baby, 3 seconds into the story.
The (9?) different endings being mashed together could turn out really messy, but I have hope fortunately.
Yes, Kenny and J̶a̶n̶e̶ are basically confirmed to die in s3, b/c there are choices to kill both of them.
Having stuck with Kenny throughout both seasons, I obviously hope telltale do keep him in.
Problem is, I know full well that isn't going to happen.
The only stipulation I have for Season Three is that Clementine remains protagonist.
Christa: "I got lucky. Real lucky."
It's funny, cute and kinda pathetic people really think any of what involves Kenny vs Jane is actually going to matter. Remember when Telltale lied to our faces and said 400 Days would have direct and major consequences in Season 2? Look at how shitty they were used and say with a straight face that I'm being negative -_-.
I dont get that reasoning.
Carley and Doug both die Episode 1 or 3 respectively depending on choice, basically a change of dialogue. I consider them lazy for the lack of choices that have no impact.
We'll be lucky.
Real lucky
I'm hoping they won't Omid her/them, but totally expecting it. If she(/they) makes it past episode 1, then I'll be happy.
I always thought that maybe they could save Kenny in Season 3, how? Well save him by keeping him in Wellington. I had a whole story typed out on how they would keep Kenny in Wellington (A new family and everything) And have Clem leave. You only get to be with Kenny in 1/5 choices. So to the people that stuck with Kenny to the end should be rewarded. Maybe a survival counter at the end of a season? And if you went with Kenny you unlocked Kenny as a Survivor? Telltale needs to show fans your choices matter. And to me that would show me that my choice mattered.
In TWAU, if you save Prince Lawrence he doesn't die later on in the game at all, so I don't think it's laziness, I think that they just want to make the situation seem more scarce and the world of TWD seem like much more of a dangerous place. Looking as realistically as you can at the situation, many people would be lost and there would be nothing you could do to change that. sniff
I hope Kenny survive!
Saving Lawrence has 0 impact, not even a letter of thanks or something. He doesn't die because he doesn't ever have to show up again
Exactly. He's basically like Nick from Episode 2 and 3 if you save him. Only a plot device....
Except Nick doesn't die whatever choice you make
Lawrence does show up twice more if you save him, in fairness.
