Sure, it's his choice as much as Lee chose to murder the senator, agree 100%.
But Arvo shooting Clementine is way more defendable than, say, Carver shooting Walter. Because of the abuse.
Arvo is the main source of blame. But morality and cause aren't clean cut - the facts are that if Arvo hadn't been abused Mike wouldn't have decided to help him escape, and the entire situation would have been avoided. Thus Kenny is partly to blame for the situation, and so partly to blame for the results of it.
because of his abuse.
People make their own choices in life. I really hate when people don't take responsibility for their actions,… more its a huge pet peeve. Lots of people get beaten, constantly, daily, they don't just shoot a random person. Arvo made his own choice, you can't blame kenny for that one.
The "Kenny has done horrible things" should just stay dead. It's unbearably annoying, it starts pointless fights & it's overall just a w… moreaste of time. And I'm sure you have much better things to do with your time.
The "Arvo has done horrible things" should stay dead also. It's also annoying. But because I imagine you are a fan of Kenny, you only think my opinion could cause an argument.
What's hilarious is that this is a Arvo hate thread basically.
FUCKARVO
This isn't an argument starter of course... It's really damn funny that I'm being jumped on for something everyone else in the thread has done...
Yes, it would be very productive. Very productive in proving the fact that this section only has the ability to do the same things OVER and OVER again.
Was Arvo a jerk?
He seemed to be bullied and pressurised by the Russian group, showed guilt about robbing the group, and was physically abused by Kenny before doing anything wrong.

Arvo did not deserve to be beaten like that. Did anyone ever stop to think that maybe Vitali and Buricko forced him to ambush Clem's group? You can tell he didn't want to do it, he even tells Clementine that he wished they met differently. The kid then lost his sister and gets physically beaten by Kenny. When Clementine shot Natasha, I believe he thought she was still alive. This would later cause his hatred for Clem.

Not in my mind, i don't agree with you here. I lived that life. People make their own choices.
If you want to play what if Scenarios, what if Mike never existed. Eventually it comes down to someone making a choice, people need to take responsibility for their actions, or else they will never learn from them. Biggest Problem imo with our society, no one ever wants to take ownership of their mistakes, and want to shift the blame onto something else.

So what? We don't know if it was his idea to ambush the group in the first place. Arvo probrably told them about the incident then they forced him to confront the group ad a distraction. He looked like he didn't even want to ambush the group. I believe he was also yelling at Buricko to stop after he heard that the group had a baby.

Nothing will piss me off more than a person NOT taking responsibility for their fuck ups.
Arvo is literally The "Ben" of a group of bandits.
I dont really see the need to like or loathe the character, he was essentially just a member of a bandit group, they humanized them a bit more in season 2 than they did in one. Kenny and the groups treatment of him wasnt pleasant but seeing as most people would have just straight up killed him he cant really complain especially since there is much more evidence that he really was voluntarily with those people and then just trying to save himself, not to mention voluntarily shooting a child.
Frankly I dont need to see Arvo again, I dont care enough either way, I dont want to kill him but will if I come across him as he has shown himself to be threat, just as any bandit has.
@longlivelee Originally it seems to just have been a thread based on a kind of joke video? But I think the joke was kind of lost on most everyone here.
And @Gobananas01 lol I'm not sure people would get the joke unless you linked Flimsii's video too. This is a discussion forum; if you title any thread with a character and a list of the people you state they "murder," people are gonna discuss those "murders," and take it literally and defend or berate that character unless you say otherwise. I guessed from the silly music in your vid that you might be joking about Arvo, but unfortunately the joking's not always so apparent. So yeah, idk what you were expecting exactly besides some debate. :shrugs:

No, BeautifulBanjo did, and there was no indication that that was the video you as the OP were referring to. The thumbnail for that video suggested it was a Call of Duty parody, and since I never played that game, I figured it would be a waste of time to watch it. I'm just saying there's no reason to get angry at each other when all this is is a bunch of miscommunications. Mostly.

I don't really like Arvo but that comment doesn't make sense for me. Arvo was tied up and he can't really fight a somewhat old man that's physically stronger than him. That's total abuse even if he deserves it.
Did you guys miraculously forget Arvo had planned to kill you before you actually captured him? I mean honestly, he attacked Clem's group regardless of decision. He attacked Clem's group even if Clem had refused to steal Arvo's sister's meds, and last of all he shot Clem for no earthly reason other than his own intentions and Mike and Bonnie were too dumb enough to see that. Lee killed the state senator due to the state senator banging his wife, and it was an accident, and throughout the story you can tell Lee was sorry for what he did. Arvo never was sorry and he deserved what he got. His sister dead I mean, fucking bitch should have never tried to kill the group for no earthly reason. The stranger was a much more forgiving and better character than Arvo, at least the stranger let Lee sit down and talked things through with him instead of shooting him in the chest for no Godly reason. Arvo deserves to suffer, and so does that bitch Bonnie and that asshole Mike. Bonnie was a stupid character as well. She hated my Clem because I did the logical thing and covered Luke instead of putting more weight on the ice. Mike was about to let Rebecca die of hypothermia because the coat represented the confederate states. Trust me if I was Rebecca and they found a fucking Nazi coat I would still wear it because I was freezing my ass off. Mike, Bonnie and Arvo are the most pointless characters in TWD history. At least I could sympathize with Sarah and Ben and Kenny. Mike sucked, Bonnie sucked even more and Arvo sucked the biggest Russian commie dick on Earth. I can't believe you suckers saying "Oh well Arvo was treated horribly, he gets the right to shoot Clem. Oh yeah Arvo, go, meet me in bed tonight Arvo" or "Well if he was treated like a fucking prince maybe he wouldn't have shot Clem". There is no justification for shooting someone who means no threat. By your logic, if I had killed someone and surrendered to a few cops they would be able to shoot me and say " Oh well he killed someone, that gives me the right to kill him". If you Arvo suckers think it's right to kill someone that did you harm, maybe you shouldn't study law.
None of that is what I said. You're not speaking to my logic. My point was very simple. If he hadnt been abused by Kenny for no reason, except that Kenny needed someone to pound on and hurl slurs at, then he most likely would not have been motivated to retaliate violently. Mike made more progress just talking to him and showing him kindness, and if Clem had been able to explain things, i believe he would not have built the hate that caused him to shoot her. I dont believe that he deserved to suffer and certainly not that way, and I will never believe that Kenny was justified in his brutish behavior.

I'm talking about basic human psychology, how if for example, someone had the choice and the opportunity to steal from me and they didn't and had protected me all the way against somebody who might have killed me, I'd show at least a little loyalty to them no doubt, and certainly not shoot them when they mean no harm, I would have understood if he shot Kenny, seeing as Kenny had been a little harsh with him. I just don't understand how you call it abuse, he's not abusing anybody. Arvo tried to kill the group and what would have happened if he did, then I have no doubt in my head that he wouldn't have been feeling guilty. You expect someone to treat him like a fucking Prince after he indirectly caused Luke's death by shooting him in the leg and could have got the group killed, not to mention they would have got to town faster and got Rebecca somewhere safe and warm if Arvoand his ho's didn't come and mess things up. I didn't know it was Valentine's day, because you are showing alot of love to Arvo, especially by sucking his fucking dick. Honestly, maybe Clementine should hand all their food over to Arvo, just so he survives. Maybe he wont shoot Clem then huh? I don't follow your logic, and quite frankly, I don't want to.
Oh, and By the way, Kenny abused Arvo because he had nearly killed him, that's a good enough reason for me.
None of that is what I said. You're not speaking to my logic. My point was very simple. Dodge Kenny's hit, get behind him, strangle him with your restraints if possible. I know that's hard for Arvo, knowing his knee brace, but he might've been able to pull it off.
I don't really like Arvo but that comment doesn't make sense for me. Arvo was tied up and he can't really fight a somewhat old man that's physically stronger than him. That's total abuse even if he deserves it.
I'm pretty sure Arvo was all for ambushing the group. While explaining what was going down he was bloody smiling. To be fair, after he realized the group had a baby with them, he tried to talk his side down, but still.

I agree with Firewallcano. Arvo was in the group of bandits. You really thought that you could use sympathy from someone who tries to steal from you or even kill you? Arvo was a very bad written character that blinded people with his leg brace and innocent acting and looks thinking he was harmless. People should have seen it coming since Clem killed his sister. I don't see him with any purpose other that killing him in S3 along with Mike and Bonnie (thank God I left that horse faced junkie to drown).
1) Arvo hasn't even had time to 'redeem' himself - the last we see of him is the second he shoots Clementine.
2) 'Running of with Mike and Bonnie with our supplies' ignores the whole fact that he's been tied up and physically abused as a prisoner. He wasn't 'running off' - he was escaping.
Lee redeemed himself by taking care of Clementine, TTG and Dave Fennoy have said that a million times.
What did Arvo do? Run off with Mike and Bonnie with our supplies.
1000% Agreed. I really don't care if bitch Arvo was a kid, he tried to kill us regardless, he needed punishment. Now tell me, Arvo defenders, what idiot would attack a group she/he approached even though they meant no harm , like stealing from him/her?

Or him taking those two gang members hostage and... yeah
Wow.. all these arguments....I thought people would actually be discussing the video instead of hating on one or the other...

How the hell is this an arvo hate thread?
Yes, it would be very productive. Very productive in proving the fact that this section only has the ability to do the same things OVER and OVER again.
He shot Clem and got away with it - he needs to die.
Arvo did need punishment. He ambushed the group no matter what and got Luke killed. I laughed every time Arvo gets beaten.
Can I ask something? Why do people symphatize Arvo who made unforgiveable mistakes more than Ben who made mistakes that are almost forgiveable?
Arvo did not deserve to be beaten like that. Did anyone ever stop to think that maybe Vitali and Buricko forced him to ambush Clem's group? He was stupid. He accused and ambushed us for robbing regardless if you didn't steal from him. What idiot would do something like this?

He said that he told his group that Clem and Jane robbed him.
Arvo wouldn't last long in prison.
