  • Yvette Nicole Brown knows all lol.

  • The episode was called THANK YOU!? That's it, I'm done.

But seriously though, that was extremely painful and I was in disbelief for awhile after it happened. Yet another fantastic episode!

  • well i was expecting lucille....

I was thinking they would find some B.S way outta that, goodbye plot armor I guess... Was I the only one kinda disappointed by Glenn's death? idk, I was expecting something more..

  • That would be stupid and make no sense. That many walkers no way he gets out of that. Unless he has walker blood covering him and he doesnt. It's fresh human blood

Looks like Nick may have suffered from panic attacks and that's why he was so unreliable. Also, I don't think Glenn's dead. I see others hav

  • Glenn's dead.

Glenn's not dead. Oh and anyone know what was written on Michonne's arm again? I forgot and it's bothering me haha

  • They would still eventually get to Glenn's body though.

  • I think a Morgan flashback would be pretty cool. That's just me though.

Great.... A Morgan only episode next week it looks like. I want to know what happens to Rick!

  • I found this episode was a bit boring but after Glenn died that really got my blood pumping.

  • That would be really dumb if it was a hallucination. I would seriously be pissed off.

I initially thought and still believe that Nick's corpse landed on too of him and the walkers are eating Nick's body. If it was a hallucination then well played AMC. Still what a dirty move.

  • that was bold from the writers. i rate it a 8/10. couldve been higher but at the begging it was just bullshit how those people are so fucking stupid that get kill like that against slow ass walkers.the other deaths were ok i guess. the episode was saved byt the end cuz it was the best of the episode. also it raise those theories again that some ppl had last week that someone probably took judith. now the real highlight of the episode: Glenn's "death". holy shit was that bold. there is theories that glenn might not have died at all, that nick's body covered him, that it was a hallucination etc. well if thats the case well then this show can pretty much go it self. people here bitch at the "i was lucky, real lucky" from Kenny, but in my opinion this is worse, like *100000000 fucking times worse. if it is a hallucination, well its fucking retarded what would be the fucking point??? and if he really fell and didnt die that even more brain death than the fucking walkers themselves. seriously there is NO way OUT. absolutely NONE. it is completely moronic to even make a scenario that somehow that nick's body completely covered him from al those 100s of walkers. i hope this is not the case and they keep Glenn dead. and if he did die then it really changes, like almost everything. spoilers for the comics people tread lightly.

who is Negan's victim now?? who is gonna have a kid with Maggie??? i mean i think thats a pretty big deal.. well pretty good episode.

You know, despite being a redshirt, I kind of liked David (the guy who got bit, but kept going anyways)

One of the few Alexandrians that seemed to have some outside experience, and even after he gets bit, he accepts his fate and sticks around to help everyone else

I'd say he's one of the MVPs of the episode

  • I don't think Glenn is DEAD.
1 - Who is able to stay alive that long while getting their insides chewed up?
2 - They are wearing unbuttoned button up shirts and their the same colors. Coincidence?
3 - Nicholas fell on his back, having exposed his stomach to the walkers
4 - Glenns Stomach looks really elevated.
    HE'S NOT DEAD YALL

  • He can some how manage to get under the dumpster? Kenny lived, why can't Glenn?

    Poogers555 posted: »

Yeah I thought that at first too, but its impossible for him to be ok, hes stuck under his body with a herd of walkers around him

Honestly, I want to see him alive, if not a walker.

So what is everyone thinking about Gimple's message from Talking Dead, how do you think we will see Glenn?

Most likely, Nicholas fell on Glenn, started getting eaten. Glenn, after regaining his senses, pulls himself under the dumpster in order to escape/survive (I'm almost 100% certain that dumpster was propped up on something and had space under it)

When I was watching, I noticed that you could see Glenn's face during that final panning shot. Then a walker came over and obscured Glenn for a few seconds, and when it moved away, Glenn wasn't there any more.

  • What about the hallucination theory? That is still possible.

Let's be honest James how many times has the '99% dead guy' ACTUALLY been dead in ANY medium. And second...... no it wouldn't.

First off they made the scenario in a way that he COULD still be possible he survived. The two biggest theories are the Nick corpse thing and the hallucination theory but there are a lot more ways. They gave an explination, it doesn't matter if you don't like it or even if it doesn't make sense, it satisfies the creators so they don't really care unless the fans protest. And i honestly don't think there will be a lot of GLENN SHOULD BE DEAD fans at least in comparison with the OMG THANK YOU fans.

So it doesn't matter if the excuse is bad or not. In the end it's your choice as a fan to forgive them or not if they do it

No he has to stay dead or walking dead is jumping the shark

  • Glenn will live.

    Nicolas what the fuck.

    Rick what are you doing.

    What the fuck is happening.

  • But still, I want to see a corpse before i cross him or at the very least a memoriam segment.

  • You're gonna hate this episode, then.

That could be considered a spoiler.... Besides he won't die not yet. A certain someone hasn't been introduced yet

  • Denial. First stage of grief friend.

But in all seriousness, I saw a leaked photo of Steven filming with Paul Monroe's actor. So...

Episode was good, but I have to say Glenn's death was pretty damn lame. Whatever lame ass revival AMC has to pull off to have him not die, do it. I don't care, the least they could do is spare a character that's been around for 6 seasons an actually "good" death.

  • Glenn is not dead.

Nicholas, go fuck yourself in hell bastard.

And InfiniteDawn said this, but it must be said again:

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!

  • Damn nick gets a lot of hate for something that was unintended

Glenn is gonna Kenny out of there, you'll see. This is pretty much like the Kenny/Ben scenario.

  • Short Review:

Again, there's no need to create an entire thread for my shitty opinions. So I'll share my shitty opinions on a different thread where everyone else is sharing their shitty opinions as well.

Now, Last weeks episode, I hated. It made completely no sense at all, and it was only there for the purpose of showing that the Wolves were still a thing IMHO. But this episode, I have to say, I loved it. It'll be hard for anything this Season to top it for me, I'm sure. But I'm also sure something WILL top it. In the beginning of the episode, it was pretty interesting, I liked how Rick's leadership was being questioned, I liked how Heath and Nicholas got more of a say in the matter, and I loved where everything went. Also, Does it make me a bad person that I laughed my ass off when the first Alexandrian Red shirt died directly after Rick said they wouldn't all make it back? We're talking not even a minute after Rick says they'll die, some idiot, (Ironicly the first guy to cross Rick in this episode) dies! It's fucking funny!

Anyway, moving on. I really loved how Scott and David manned up and took charge in this episode, and I love their characters a lot, Too bad David bit the dust though. He was a cool guy. The rest of them, I couldn't give a rat's ass about, but David and Scott were the only characters I wanted to see make it out of this one. I will say, the dick measuring contest between Michonne and Heath about who's life sucked more was pointless, forced, and childish, But the rest of the episode was overall great.

Not much is to be said about Daryl, Sasha and Abe. But I will say, if Daryl keeps running off, people are going to die.

Rick, oh boy, Rick's moments were pretty much my favorite parts of the episode, I loved how he just kept running no matter what, Took 4 god damned Wolves on by himself, and One manned 3 walkers with only melee, and got a knife blade stuck in his hand. That's pretty badass. I also loved the reference to Season 1 Glenn gave Rick and the audience. So cool.

And then we move onto the Spotlight of tonight's episode, The so-called, "death" of Glenn. Honestly, it's my favorite moment in the entire series. And that's right, out of the Show, comic book, spin-off, and game, Glenn and Nicholas' fight for survival is honestly my favorite moment. I got so many chills when Nicholas said "Thank you" to Glenn, and when Glenn fell into the herd, I felt nothing in my chest but emptiness. Which means for the second time this week, (First being the LiS finale) I felt so sad that I didn't cry, but instead felt like something was ripped out of my chest. But, while this is sad and all, Glenn's not actually dead. Or at least... Not in the way we think. Scott Gimple did say we'd see him again, it's only a matter of time before we do. Someway at least. That doesn't quite mean we'll see him as a human, but perhaps we'll see him again.

Overall, This episode blew my mind and sh*t in my cereal. It punched me in the gut, stole my heart, and laughed at my sadness. I rate "Thank You" a 9.8/10.

  • Idk, I liked Nicholas.

But guys.... Glenn didn't die. He got lucky, real lucky.

  • The episode was called THANK YOU!?

It's in reference to Nicholas' final line after he pulls the gun to his head.

  • That's usually what happens when you post a discussion board for the most popular show on television.

    I have 89 notifications. I wonder why...

  • That's a trend the show seems to have. Making the titles of an episode a line that a character said in the episode.

Just realized that the episode's title is Nick's last words.

  • "OH YEAH AMC JUST KILL RICK WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!!"

DAMMIT BIGDOGG, YOU CAUSED THE HORDE TO ATTACK THE RV! XD

When Glenn died I said "OH YEAH AMC JUST KILL RICK WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!!" I was fucking joking

  • Glenn surviving this is going to be the dumbest fucking thing the writers have ever done, and that's saying something. While it still remains to be seen, all signs point to his survival, although others think Gimple's vague mention might mean that he is dead, and we'll see him as a zombie or in a flashback only.

As far as where this episode stands with me, it all hinges on that moment. If Glenn is dead, this episode was great. If he's not, then it'll forever be the episode that has "that one mistake" that I can't defend. There are other mistakes too, like hearing gunshots from Alexandria even though we couldn't hear Spencer's gunfire in "First Time Again", but those are minor, for the most part. They could have done it a lot better, of course, but it can't be helped now since I guess Gimple was drunk when he wrote the premiere, and it's really the only episode he's written so far that's just not that good. After two great premieres and seasons, his writing had to suffer a bit, I guess. The point is, inconsistencies like that are not on the same level as something this wrought with potential heartbreak and emotion, only to be utterly worthless if they pull Glenn's survival out of it.

    We'll see, I guess.

  • I really, really hope this is not how Glenn dies, seriously, Walkers were probably eating Nicholas, but if Glenn is really dead then I think Lucilles' victim is gonna be Daryl I got a feeling about it.

  • pretty much. but thats x10000 times worst
