Any or all of Mira's schemes or alliances lead to the same two options.
The North Grove was handled poorly. Here are two new characters, here is what they are dealing with. Blood magic is vague, but you can decide on what little you see of it. And now decide what to do.
Well, I chose to poison Ludd, and when I decided to marry Gwyn instead, Lady Elissa attacked Ludd and the fight scene started anyways. You get to kill Gryff instead of Ludd, and Elissa is killed by Harys at the courtyard.
I saved Rodrick during episode 5 and planned to save Ryon when we invaded Ludd's camp. What's all this talk about the poison? I never got that option. Also, is there a WAY to save Ironwrath?? Ironwrath burned to the fucking ground for me, and Elena (excuse the spelling) is who-knows-where. Dead, maybe? WHY COULDN'T I SAVE HER?
In my playthrough, almost everyone survived except Lady Forrester (I SCREAMED). I'm SO happy Ryon is saved, I literally just wanted to save him the entire game. I fought with cunning strategy, is that even a GOOD thing? Is there such thing as a good ending??? I also got so much satisfaction killing Gryff, you have no idea.
Unfortunately, I lied to Margaery and told her that it was Sera's idea to sneak me into the party... boy do I regret it. How DARE that little jerk throw a potato/tomato/fruit at me before I'm beheaded! And, no, I didn't accept Lord Morgryn's marriage proposal because fuck that guy.
I am a bit disappointed in Mira's sotryline. I mean, it confused the hell out of me but I'm still disappointed. I seriously didn't know who to trust and I really thought Tom was the one ratting me out... fucking Morgryn anyway.
All in all, this episode was pretty good, I just wish Telltale didn't make me think I made every wrong decision known to the game. What do you guys think?
You lose no matter what, although I have yet to see what happens if you get 5/5 of the blue instead of red things that you do in defense of House Forrester at the end.

As above. To expand, Elissa tries to stab Ludd, cuts his face up pretty good. A good ol' ruck starts up in the hall. Then, in my play through, Asher had a tabletop duel with Gryff before dunking him in the fireplace, running him through with a sword and delivering a one liner as he died on the end of it. Asher takes a backstab from random Whitehill dude and then Gwyn sweeps in out of nowhere like a ninja and slices the dude up like a butcher, saving Asher from immediate death. Big fight continues in the courtyard until eventually that big dude in the armour whose name i completely forget ends up dueling Asher and basically kicking his arse. Elissa tries to save the day and gets skewered for her trouble. The gates come down and Asher gets sliced up pretty good. Sentinel Royland saves him from imminent death and plonks him on a horse to escape. Asher promptly falls off.
Finally, Talia and Gwyn turn up to help up the crippled Asher and hobble off into the sunset. Beshka also escapes in another direction with a very angry looking Ryon.
Well, I just finished episode 6. I have to admit, I expected a bit more from the ending of this season. I mean, honestly, throughout the who… morele season, seeing this end, I feel like my choices didn't have much impact at all. Tried to play the game in the smartest and most objective way, stayed away from war as much as I could, and it was all just a piss in the dark, it didn't contribute to pretty much anything.
It's like, you're given the option of either being shot in the leg, or have it broken; in the end, it doesn't matter what you chose, you still won't be able to use your leg. That's exactly how I feel about this whole adventure. It's been fun at times, sad in most of them, and god damn frustrating the whole time, but it kept me going.
Wouldn't play a new season though, it left a really sour taste
I'm just disappointed that there was no real conclusion. I was hoping that if there was going to be a second season, it would be a whole ne… morew family in Essos or perhaps somewhere south.
I'm just bothered that there is no confirmed season 2 now with the lack of any real finality in the ending, since seemingly no matter what you do, you lose.
If you thought this had a happy ending then you haven't been paying attention. Do you watch the TV show? If not then this would not bother you at all ending like this, this is just a cake walk compared to the show. Really it is. Stories aren't always finished and there is always an open door in all games. Im not calling you out, just stating what narratives should be.
that doesn't necessarily guarantee a season 2. It was a multi-year, also multi-title contract, so even if it does mean another season, it might not even be a season of GoT.
IN the immortal words of Ramsay Snow. If you think this has a happy ending you haven't been paying attention (oh I do love this line ). GoT is not meant to be happy, Ironrath is destroyed no matter what. It is not meant to be fully happy. Can both Asher and Rodrik die Yes they can. Asher can be poisoned and Rodrik dies in ep 5. Like for example a certain choice path gets you to have Gwyn helping you in the end.
You lose no matter what, although I have yet to see what happens if you get 5/5 of the blue instead of red things that you do in defense of House Forrester at the end.
And has anyone checked to see if attacking Ludd in Ep 4 can be cannon? I mean Gryff magically got an eyepatch so something else may have changed. Like the trailer saying who did Mira stab or Run away. 92% stabbed yet in the credits its like 67% or something. Weird huh?
I've read all of the books and seen every episode of the TV show, so I know how brutal and unforgiving GRRM's world is (even played the tabletop game). My point isn't that I was unhappy with the ending - my point is that there wasn't an ending. I wanted an actual conclusion rather than what Telltale served up.
I just think Episode 6 seemed a natural place to end the Whitehill story arc. The North Grove clearly has more ground to cover but the feud story line should be over, in my opinion.

I agree that the Forrester arc shouldn't end. I do think the Whitehill arc should have ended, however. There's plenty of things Telltale could do in Season 2 to keep the Forrester family interesting that don't involve the Whitehills. Or could have done, rather, since that arc clearly hasn't run its course.
I really liked that episode. about the lack of conclusion...it shows that there will most likely be a second season. It would be rather stup… moreid to end the forrester arc within one season. they sighned a multi-year contract with HBO. what did you expect? but i agree that the mira storyline was dissapointing. and about the amount of determinant characters...It may be the biggest mistake of ttg, yet or they want to cross the boundries of choices and consequences. They did it with Rodrik/Asher and with the right amount of time, they could set a new standard for those kinds of games. they already did it with the twds2 endings. Telltale obviously wants to be bigger. the first step is a new/updated engine and they should completly ditch the mobil versions. they're pulling ttgs opportunitys back.

Wait, so BOTH guys can die?? God, good thing Rodrick is still alive in my game (barely, but he's alive). God, I can't wait to go through my other playthrough

Gryff's VA does a great job at making me actually feel bad for him, despite Gryff being a scumbag
His crying and begging when Rodrik kills him almost makes me feel dirty about doing it
You lose no matter what, although I have yet to see what happens if you get 5/5 of the blue instead of red things that you do in defense of House Forrester at the end.
Sorry if this has been covered, but I was baffled at the end when my traitor ended up being the one to help me to my feet and my Sentinel presumably died. If you kill the traitor, does anything change with your Sentinel?

Ah, you must've picked Rodrik then! Since I chose Asher, the two choices I had were to either invite Ludd to the Great Hall to celebrate our "alliance" and ambush him, or do the same and poison him. I've yet to see what happens in the 'Ambush' choice, but when you poison Ludd, Lady Elissa drinks the poison as well to make the plan work. Before that though, Gwyn comes talking to you and asks if Asher agreed to a marriage with her to avoid any bloodshed. I explained that choice in the first comment.

Fought with Ash
Poisoned Ludd
Used blood magic
Got Meera killed
Ash, Ryon, Talia and Gared survived
He might only appear if you saved Asher, and had Elissa drink the poison. At least that's what I did to see him.
Bahaha the unsung hero of the episode
EDIT: actually I'm wrong, it was Lady Forrester that stabbed him for me. turns out a random soldier can stab him, Elissa, or Bowen.
I just had her stand up for herself and be beheaded.
I mean I see the similarity between her and Sansa. Better dead and proud than a slave.
Wait, hold up, I never got this choice. Poison? Please explain
Alright guys, I'm confused.

How'd your decisions turn out?
Certainly not what I expected.
On the poison, I think you can only do that if you save Asher.
You lose no matter what, although I have yet to see what happens if you get 5/5 of the blue instead of red things that you do in defense of House Forrester at the end.

Fin.

HA I KNEW HE WASNT USELESS! Now where in the seven hells is Norren and that army?
You do realize that there are at least 5 more years with the HBO contract right? That should ring a Season 2 bell

Nope, you can kill either and Ryon lives, Ryon is Clementine, he is going to live till Season 3 at least
can't say for sure since I saved Asher, but from what I was told he is saved regardless.
I've gotten 4/5 Id rather not replay school doesn't give me time

Depending on who you saved at the end of Episode 5, you get some different choices this episode if you play as Asher or Rodrik.
So if you save Asher, you get a poison option/Ambush, but saving Rodrik gives you an option to raid his camp?..
That excuse is HBO's biggest problem with the series. A song of Ice and Fire isn't good guys die and bad guys win. It's much more complex than that.
The episode was alright, I expected more from it tbh....
Was anyone able to see their choices at the end? I wasn't able to see any of the ep 6 choices and I kinda wanna see how much I fucked up
Gryff's VA does a great job at making me actually feel bad for him, despite Gryff being a scumbag

Gryff is a little bitch, I was actually laughing when he was crying like a baby (am I heartless... maybe)
If you get all blue you receive the Unwavering Conviction strategy yet it's the same ending nonetheless, aside from little details.
Sorry if this has been covered, but I was baffled at the end when my traitor ended up being the one to help me to my feet and my Sentinel presumably died. If you kill the traitor, does anything change with your Sentinel?
If you kill the traitor, your Sentinel would be alive and help you to your feet instead.
You will come to ambush Gryff and save Ryon or take your vengeance on Ludd.
