This mini series has tons of potential for having most characters with determinant fates for this very reason. We are never gonna interact with them again .It's just like 400 days, so many people in that had alternate fates
Those words must be like a knife (or a katana/machete) to her heart, given that she did abandon them due to thinking that they were already dead, if I'm not mistaken.
I'm thinking the same, there was another vine but they deleted it before i could post it which also looked like it came from the 5 min intro/preview that they will be streaming.
Actually, by what I can remember, she used to pay to a nanny to take care of her daughters while she went to work at a law firm. The day the outbreak started, she drove home (or walked or whatever) and neither of the three were there. So she never really knew what happened to them, similar to Ben's case.
"Mummy, when are you coming back?"

These are a couple of panels taken directly from the Comic Series. They take place minutes Michonne, Pete and the rest of the crew are greeted by Rick and others.
We're going to make a new thread for preview discussion. We don't want spoilers in this thread, as this thread is supposed to be free from spoilers from upcoming episodes.
The Michonne site is now updated, since the game is closer to launch. It looks really neat!
EDIT: Also, a new Tweet from someone at Skybo… moreund:
Tweet from Brian H. (from Skybound): I definitely can't confirm that I've seen the @.telltalegames Michonne intro. And I also can't confirm that it's F**KING AWESOME. Sunday.
Maybe that is part of what they were alluding to in the blog post?
What we can say is that we expect this to be our biggest year for The Walking Dead we’ve ever had, and we’re excited to share this decidedly very different story with Michonne that will explore some themes we’re truly excited about bringing to the interactive space. So tune into our Youtube channel this Sunday for an extended preview, and set your sights on February 23rd for the long-awaited return of The Walking Dead!

What do you mean? Usually, all discussion for one game franchise goes on a single board - even if it has multiple Seasons. Yeah, Michonne is a spinoff, but it is still grouped with other Walking Dead discussions.

I meant a separate forum just for Michonne. I figured since its a series instead of a single episode like 400 Days, it would have a forum but I guess it makes more sense if it stays part of the WD forum.

I'm gonna guess that the first five minutes of Michonne will be a dream sequence that takes place in that lakeside area, with a bunch of her personal demons haunting her; visions of her past prior to the apocalypse (the apartment screenshot), visions of her two daughters essentially taunting her, and other related stuff that will end with her going on an emotionally-fueled rampage against a bunch of zombies before finally waking up on the boat.

Well, I have some bad news. TheGirlFromAus will not know who Michonne is, I know this because when she played P.T. Silent Hills, she did not… more regonize Norman Reedus (The man who plays Daryl) at the end of the game. If she didn't watch the show, I'm sure she didn't read the comics as well. Just letting you know.
You know, I couldn't shake the feeling that the background image for the website looked familiar, and I just found out why: it's a callback to this panel from the special Michonne issue of the comic. Well played, Telltale.

I would think pretty soon; pre-orders are typically available around a week or two before launch, so any time from next week onward really would fit the usual schedule at this point.

[Cue scary horror music]
Shit's about to get real, and Michonne doesn't look so well
Then he is likely to die in at some point.
Or leave offscreen to join another group or something.
Could be but that would be kinda pointless since we know this game won't affect the comics. Just saying

Well they could affect a future season or something, that's also a possibility.
"Mummy, when are you coming back?"

I think this might be apart of the intro, which is 'haunting'.
Probably a dream sequence or something like that.
Looks to me that they just spoiled a jumpscare.
That's actually really scary!
Dammit Telltale, just when I thought I couldn't get any more hyped.

Ben 2 confirmed
I'm not going to be able to come to this thread after Sunday as it will be a spoiler infested zone [shudder] because of the preview (;-; )
Didn't we originally call Nick Ben 2?
Ben the third confirmed

It looks very Walking Dead Comicish!
Edit: By the way, did anyone else notice that it has sexual themes, though the first episode doesn't have those?
Maybe that is part of what they were alluding to in the blog post?
No forum I guess until the game comes out?
Pretty sure it'll use this one.

It's taking place along Chesapeake Bay, cool.

Hehehe
Oh, yeah, could be a sensible theme for Michonne, though.
At one point, she was raped by Comic Governor.

I thought they were with their dad Dominic?
That's true, she didn't even know Glenn was apart of the comic series back when she played S1 of TWD
I think both of those things were said at one point or another. But as of issue 139, she said she left them with Dominic, so let's go with that.

Reminds me of how The Wolf Among Us intro sequence was inspired by various panels of the first issue of Fables, according to Telltale developers.
Any idea when pre-orders will be available ?

I dont think it needs a new section, its still walking dead
Model swaps incoming for that scene xD.
