Worst TWDG Scene?
In terms of poor standards, what you think?
The one below is what I pick..
That scene with them Russians from S2E4 for me was just awful and very poorly done, the dialogue is bad, the Russians voice actors are bad and the way the whole scene is directed is just plain shit. I mean what the hell are a bunch of non English speaking Russian gang members doing in TWD? It's just a bit screwed up.
Do you agree? If not then what do you think is the worst scene in the game in terms of it just being completely stupid?

Pretty much that.. Or the Lake scene. Or Kenny vs Jane...
yeah i not understood why telltale use the new characters russians very bad and not use others...
example 400 days characters is more better that the por group of arvo....i not understood why they decide use this bad idea of a random guys russians...
telltale have in the hands 400 days characters, nate, eddie but they decide use this bad resources of arvo group..a very bad idea...
i hope information of what happen with 400 days characters we not see the deaths of they...and nate and Eddie what happen with they...
I agree about the scene in S2E4 is worst. It just went down hill with season 2.
Clem getting the jump on Carver was very stupid.
Also the turbine scene.
Ben taking the axe that is blocking the door. The same axe given to Lee from freakin Ben. From the same freakin doors Ben hid behind from a horde of zombies. Sheesh, what is up with ep. 4s eh?
It's not even funny. This was bad.
The entirety of the Russian shootout scene
There's actually a lot of Russian immigrants in midwestern America, in communities that still predominantly speak Russian, so it's not at all far-fetched that there would be a group of Russian speaking survivors in that area.
RUSSIANS - The Encyclopedia of Cleveland History
The Russian speaking suburbs of Ann Arbor and the Detroit Suburbs
It would actually be more unbelievable if none of the hundreds of Russian speaking immigrants that live in those areas survived.
Ben taking the axe from the door handle, clearly stupid and the gunfight in Season 2 Finale, stupid as crap.
Oops, sorry, didn't mean to reply you.
What's stupid about it?
I really liked that scene (the standoff) as it was a pretty good cliffhanger to a dire episode. The forums here at the time were exploding with 'Who will die?", "What what happen?", "Who will shoot who?". In that aspect it was a nice way to end as it left us with so much anticipation
However the reasons for it happening were stupid (I didn't steal, what the hell Arvo??), and what actually DID happen was one of the biggest letdowns in history, like seriously, how does a group surrounded by guns all get out of it alive?
Pretty sure that was Ben just being stupid.
Tell me about it. I remember that time too with the forum talking about that cliffhanger. It was really a good cliffhanger to set up the finale because you didn't know who was going to make it, or who'd be injured. You had no screenshots for Episode 5 and the trailer didn't even show any footage of the finale. Not even the trophies gave away much other than they were from poems, leaving even more for fans to question and theorize on who was going to survive and what would happen afterwards. Such a huge disappointment it was that when came to the finale itself, the cliffhanger's payoff resulted in nothing. The whole lot of them should've been massacred or wounded, on both sides, yet somehow the 'good guys' all make it out of there? It's like you said, it wasn't really the standoff that was the problem [even if the Russian dialogue wasn't handled well] but the payoff afterwards, it was shit ;_; that cliffhanger was the best, horrible worrying about which characters would be hurt or dead at the time, but the best.
And it was the same for me too, I never stole from Arvo, yet it still pushes for a confrontation as if you did. That annoyed the hell out of me.
Roflmao, that never crossed my mind.
Another scene I find particularly bad was Greg's death scene in Michonne episode 1, Samantha's crying was not very convincing, it sounded like she was crying but not a SINGLE tear was shed, you really couldn't see any tears on her face. That was kind of lazy by Telltale imo.
Kinda agree especially since most of her voice acting fits the character this part just felt off
The scene with the stranger in season 1 always annoyed me if you chose not to steal from him. Apparently leaving behind Lily who just killed a good friend of Lee's over a few words is reason enough for him to follow the group around wanting to punish Lee. He's always talking about endangering Clementine but seems to forget leaving an unstable Lily behind was protecting her. His other reason is endangering Clementine by visiting the dairy farm, the group were desperate for food and had to take the chance, this reason is made even more stupid if you chose against going there in the first place and are overruled by the rest of the group.
Well no one died, which is odd because each Russian had his/her gun pointed at someone. I was surprised that they moved around. Also I agree not stealing from Arvo. But for me I think the choice where you stay in the shelter or go should have made a difference. If you stayed at the shelter Arvo and his group members should have encountered them there instead being in the middle of the path.
Grief hits everyone differently. I think Telltale deserves a pass on that.
The worst TWDG scene has to be Nick's death in season 2 episode 4. By farrr....
Arvo shooting clementine, even if you don't steal from him, don't side with Kenny, ask to go with him and give up your gun he still shoots her...
How did he even die? Like...he was just there...
Oh no.. I'm stuck in this fence.. Darn. I guess I'm dead.
Unless he was already a walker when he got stuck in the fence. Still, I dislike how he just fades into the background on episode 3 and 4 after getting so much time in 1 and 2.
Terrible writing killed him.
Hated how he had like three lines in In Harm's Way, and most of them were just about defending Luke. I wanted to hear him talk about Pete, and how he was coping after his death.
Yeah that choice also. I think there was so many factors which could have changed that gunfight, or at least the dialogue.
What I don't get is, all the gunshots heard after the screen went black, all must have COMPLETELY missed, minus two at Arvo's sister and Mike's shoulder (I think). But apart from them, that's ridiculous
Believe me the plot did worse to him than the walkers ever did
It's because Arvo sees Clementine pop his walker sister, then the idiot holds a grudge for putting his walker sister to rest. I'm guessing Arvo thought his sister might have still been alive which makes no sense because he is seen over her body during the gunfight, I'm pretty sure in that time he'd have figured out she was dead.
Question: Who the hell uses CPR to prevent a gunshot wound?
Rebecca's death, because if you choose to wait a couple of days wouldn't she of died during then? Just like she would've died if you chose to go the day after?
Now that I think about it, half the stuff that happened in Amid The Ruins made no sense.
Holy shit, I never thought about that.
But yes, that episode in general made no sense whatsoever, and it's a shame because the worst episode got the best trailer.
And the best episode slide. And the best credits song too (in my opinion). The hype around it was crazy.
Still, who would shoot a 11 years old disarmed girl that helped you ( not stealing the meds ), and asked to escape with you? That's just evil!
I think that on the robbing he is talking about Jane having stolen his gun
You mean the pants that you never actually saw, because they were covered by a blanket
No, I saw them, alright.
The whole game
