( SPOILER FOR LATEST WALKING DEAD EP) im thinking its Daryl because I think it was his first person when they got pulled out of the van, and it was first person at the end.
I agree. However when Eugene took off with the RV, it felt like they were possibly saying that he was gonna be "the sacrificial lamb" - so to speak. All I know for certain, is after Rick and his crew killed a shitload of Negan's men, they found out "how not cool that shit is."
Negan should kill himself. Imagine that:
Negan: "Hi. I'm Negan. Now I need to kill someone of you."
Rick: "no man pls."
Negan: "K g… moreonna kill myself."
He then starts to beat his own head in with Lucille laughing about it and how he takes it like a champ. xD
First off, why would Maggie even die? The one thing that proves that she has immunity, of all things, is a haircut. The comic-readers know t… morehat as the beginning of Maggie's role as a leader. She has a lot more time before she dies! (If she ever does!)
I'm sorry, did you just miss the previous 15 episodes full of character development for practically everyone in Alexandria who has more than three lines? I disagree, Season 6 was more like the development of Alexandria and it's citizens, we see how quite weak they are in the first half and we are shown the Alexandrians progressing, gaining confidence and starting to trust the group. Could you please explain how the previous 15 episodes were also about who will die at the end of the Season? The most they've done is foreshadow, only in a few episodes. Even then, The Walking Dead has always centered around the theme of death, it's practically in the title.
I think it is Glenn.
On another note: i cant believe this show has become about who will die? Story telling, character development, logic… more and what not all thrown out the window,. The entire sixth season is all about WHO WILL DIE AT THE END. And that's like the plot element. wtf. I know people die in the ZA, but that should follow naturally from the plot, not be the driving force behind it while everything else takes a back seat. Other stories beside who will die can be told too, you know. I miss the days this show used to be about something beside "who will die next week".
That said, if they are going ot kill someone i wish it would be that jackass Rick. He is the one who decided to go murdering people in their sleep without much of a plan. He is the one just making one lousy decision after another. Yeah he is the main guy, but i have so little sympathy for him, I'd rather watch him die than the others. It seems like the perfect pick to me. People are overconfident that Maggie has immunity because AMC's been hinting constantly at her future role, the one she had in the comics.
We're being given a false sense of security. They're referencing comic Maggie so much so that we'll assume she's safe.
And then BAM! Negan kills her. That'd catch quite a few people by surprise.
I could see Carol taking Maggie's spot in the comics.

Glenn would scream and plead just as much if Maggie got picked, don't you think? He seemed to be the most desperate in the group at that moment. They could focus on him, too.
I mean, can you imagine how this would change our beloved pizza boy? It'd leave a huge impact on his character, too. I want to see how he would turn out.
As I've said before I'd do it the same way as in the comics but really capture the screams and pleads of Maggie. It would make Negan hateful (as we're supposed to think upon meeting him) and leave a huge impact on the group and on Maggie's character.
Part of me believes they might save the first couple episodes of the next season as the back story for Dwight and Negan. Then they reveal the homicide victim at around episode 3 and 4 if they really wanted to rub in the long awaited revelation of who got the Lucille encounter.

well i have mixed emotions about it. i somehow think they should have just sticked to killing someone (of importance) to make a shocking intro to Negan's character. it's like wanting to see 2 boxers at their prime to fight and then promoters just postpone their fight for so long that you don't feel as excited anymore.
but who knows, maybe they could still pull it off in the next season.
He is in the first. Then he comes back somewhere in the 60-70 middle. Hes stays there till his death.
Btw how did you feel about the cliffhanger. With how divided people are on it i'm guessing you either hated it or liked it.

"We want it to be the start of the story. Right at the begining, like you never left. I want to capture the beating as much as possible. Charlie Adlar made such an impressive work on the gore, and i want to capture that on screen. We definatly going to the edge of the line with it."
Interesting...When and where did he say that? Talking Dead? I hardly ever watch that after show talk show. But if Gimple says it, I can believe it and him even more than Kirkman..
Gimple says the same.

It was somebody from the Atlanta group in the comics and it's gonna be somebody from the Atlanta group now. Since Rick and Carl are clearly safe, and Carol is in Kingdom with Ezekiel, Morgan and Shiva, It's gonna come down to Glenn and Daryl. Daryl has 2 movies and a TV series coming up and killing Glenn would be too predictable. On the other hand, Glenn has made a couple major milestones, had some serious foreshadowing and had 2 fakeout deaths in the past 2 seasons season. And since it was him in the comics, it can now go either way. Personally, I hope Daryl gets the shit beaten out of him. I hate Daryl anyway, his character development has completely stopped, and it'd be an actually emotionally striking moment for the series to kill off their most invincible characters who has cheated death time and time again. But I wouldn't lose sleep if it was Glenn.
On another note: i cant believe this show has become about who will die? Story telling, character development, logic and what not all thrown out the window,.
It's just because we've been hyping Negan's appearance for so long. I personally am in LOVE with the story telling and everything else, but it's fucking Negan man.
I think it is Glenn.

Y'know, the moment I knew Negan was going to arrive, I immediately thought it was Glenn or Daryl who was going to get the bat. But after the episode I was so confused about who it could be. But after reading many, many theories, I've come to an conclusion...
I think it's Abraham because:
1.) Glenn, Daryl, Michonne and Rosita barely got screen time that episode - hell, even Carl got more screen time - If it was a character's last episode, you'd figure they would get more screen time.
2.) I don’t think it can't be Carl nor Rick because:
How is cutting Carl's other eye going to be a threat if he's getting his head bashed in?
How can you do that if you are bashing his head in?
How would you able to feed Rick if he's dead/getting beaten to death?
This has nothing to do with Negan threatening to cut out Carl’s other eye and feeding it to Rick, but they are just starting to twist Carl’s TV show character into his comic one. It took me to read his wiki page to realise that.
3.) I don’t think it can't be Maggie or Daryl since both are in a poor condition; Daryl suffering from blood loss by getting shot by Dwight and Maggie with a problem with her pregnancy. If they was the ones to get beaten they wouldn’t be able to “take it like a champ”, in fact they would most likely be dead from the first hit.
4.) My most poor reason but from Michonne’s POV her dreads are in her face. In whoever who is dying POV they can see Negan clearly.
5.) Abraham got a lot of screen time this episode, he talked about his future with Sasha, said goodbye to Eugene and let alone he would be “able to take it like a champ.”
Hopefully I don't sound like I’m making my opinion into a fact, because I’m worried that it’s how I’m coming across
I agree with everything you said accept for the Michonne one. Not because it couldn't be true, because if AMC was using that logic it wouldn't be Daryl because his hair is always in his face. Daryl is one of the most likely people with Glenn and Abraham. I still don't think it's Michonne but I just wanted to try give my opinion

Maggie being picked would be an interesting contrast to the comics. Glenn would be the one to live in this universe.
I agree. However when Eugene took off with the RV, it felt like they were possibly saying that he was gonna be "the sacrificial lamb" - so to speak. All I know for certain, is after Rick and his crew killed a shitload of Negan's men, they found out "how not cool that shit is."
me too, and he's the only one with a cape-ish thing.
But, it seems "We All Got Lucilled" (FPV Cliffhanger)
is he an original TV character? i haven't read anything bout him from comics.
that would make Negan funny, even funnier than the comics character:).
No. Hes in the comics. Only hes crazy there and dies during No Way Out.
Daryl. I hate him so much he's the one thing stopping me from watching the show any more.
But the show doesn't always operate by the Comics, so we can never truly know, they could end up giving that role to someone else.

Out of everyone, Eugene is the most innocent imo.

Really? Just for one guy?
This is the most ridiculos reason I've ever wanted to slap in the face.
Hey Anonymer. You should change it to "Season 7 premier "
Glenn would scream and plead just as much if Maggie got picked, don't you think? He seemed to be the most desperate in the group at that moment. They could focus on him, too.

Daryl is my favorite. How do you hate one person so much to stop watching a whole show?
Spoiler alerts fuckers, it was Clem who got the beatdown. She snuck in at the last minute.

"You are mistaken... about a great many things."
Yes, thanks.
oh? what issue# is he in? i've been skipping a lot of issues trying to catch up to #152. i think i only started at #100.

Nope. Jeffrey Deán said it jumps right back to the moment (Eeny meeny miny...etc)

Hopefully Bear McCreary can drum up an awesome poignant score to get me to feel all that buildup in such a short amount of time.
I hope they do. Lets have faith they can recover this.
I don't know if I could trust anything Negan says. Scott M. Gimple definitely more credible!
Gimple says the same.

Its in an interview. I can link you but it's in spanish.

I agree. Luckily the story and the wide cast of other awesome characters keeps me reeled in. Even if I have to cringe through everything Daryl says.
It's just because we've been hyping Negan's appearance for so long. I personally am in LOVE with the story telling and everything else, but it's fucking Negan man.
I'd be interested in the link. I was super scared they would start the season with a time jump or something, so this gives me hope...
Getting introduced to Negan was amazing. And he was right... Lucille was Awesome.
But personally, I like B.B King's Lucille much better. With it, he produced some sweet songs, like this...

And for someone in Rick's group, "the thrill has gone away."
Glenn, I think Daryl will survive for more episodes or seasons....maybe Abraham too?

Yeah, I knew it was a shit reason the moment I posted my comment. Also nice to see that you agree with most of the points I gave
