I want s3 to be longer and more "intense", I also don't want it to focus on only one character like clem and Kenny and our every choice should matter and have prolong effects

    1. Updated graphics
    2. Choices matters mostly
    3. Antagonist
    4. New weapons
    5. 14/13 year old Clementine
    6. New Clothing style
    7. Lilly for s3
    8. New survivors like Lee/Luke/Kenny
    9. To be continued ending at the finale. For season 4
  • I want them to drop the on rails feel and make the ui more existent

    • Choices which matter
    • Antagonist for the whole season
    • New Clothing Style, Clem should really get rid of that stupid jacket given by Bonnie, it's ugly as fuck.
    • Development on new characters
    • New weapons
    • Clem not being treated like an adult. Carlos letting Clem work on the wind machine was bullshit as hell.
    • HUBS
    • Season 2 endings make a great impact on story
    • Determinate characters aren't thrown away (like Nick and Sarah)
    • some sort of closure for Christa
    • more diverse branching paths, similar to "trust jack" vs "trust Fiona" in tales
    • AJ
    • Clementine feeling like an actual preteen around adults that don't ask her to do everything for them
    • more hidden dialogue or small details specific to a hard-to-determined minor choice (also like tales, I'm still finding out about new stuff after three playthroughs)
  • Added some new things

  • Some of these are common but here it goes:

    • Like others mentioned: Clem being treated more like a kid / teen
    • New sounds for weapons
    • More freedom, like in Season 1 where you could walk around, pick batteries and whatever
    • A cool antagonist, someone like Carver
    • Intense scenes with choices that actually matter
    • I want Arvo to return and have the choice to kill him
    • More walker models ?
    • Being able to choose clothes for Clementine (like in TFTBL)
    • Antagonist that you can actually empathize with
    • Being able to ask other characters questions without it being A-Must-Chocie (like in season 1)
    • Other, new backstories for characters (yes, we know that you've lost your family and friends, tell me something unique pls)
  • What is ui?

  • User interface, how you interact with the world

    What is ui?

    1. An older and mature Clementine
    2. Some of the Characters from Season 2 to return like Christa and Lilly
    3. More choices given to the characters that lead to more action packed scenes
    4. Longer game play
    5. Clothing choices for characters
    1. more puzzles like in Season 1, instead of being dialogue-centric like Season 2 was
    2. slightly advanced combat
    3. maybe pitfalls to avoid, like certain objects make noise if you step on them, drawing walkers
    4. make the walkers more of an immediate threat and more challenging
    5. bring back at least a few of the characters from 400 days
    6. Tell/show Christa's, Lilly's, Bonnie, Mike, and Arvo's fates
    7. Bring back Bonnie! yeah, yeah, I know....but I still like her :-)
  • Do people think boss fights would be too much for this point and click series?

    • New outfit for Clementine
    • New, intricate puzzles
    • More scary, atmospheric locations
    • More free roaming to talk to characters and examine things
    • The return of Lilly and/or Christa
    • Choices are more based on survival and greatly affect the story
    • The choice to abandon or not join a group
  • Oh I got one. Using our sense of hearing to crawl around in a dark area (like a an abandoned building). If we fumble around and not listen properly, we're zombie food. Using our ears, we can navigate out of danger.

  • Well, kinda.

    Well, kinda.

  • A 'Book of Fables' or 'Codex' like feature called 'Survivor's Handbook' that gives the name, age and background on each character we encounter.

    • Longer episodes.
    • A new protagonist, someone stronger with charisma, anyone but clem!
    • Better writting.
    • More free roaming.
    • New walker designs
    • New weapons designs, telltale barely uses 6 weapons, a glock 17, an ancient revolver, the winchester model 70, ak-47 and one kind of shotgun, there are more kinds of weapons!!!
    • Choices that can affect the story. In season 2 none of the choices mattered at all! except in the last five minutes of the final episode.
    • Better gameplay.
  • Yeah that's cool.

Andy scene was really well done.

    Stranger was good too.

What i'd like in season 3 is to be exactly like season 1's format was:

    • Puzzles. Not necessarily complicated ones but enough to bring back for the player to play around with
    • Small optional sidequests for example being able to fix the swing in Starved For Help or finding batteries for the radio in A New Day.
    • More character interaction and background of their lives. Also when talking to a character and choosing a certain line, maybe finding out info, taking that info and asking another character a question with a new choice being able to use during the convo.
    • 2 hour + episodes like in season 1 giving us gamers our money's worth, not having the sense of a rushed episode.
    • More hubs to examine, picking up items to use in certain situations. Also stopping hubs disappearing after viewing it once or twice or hubs disappearing when wanting to speak to a character more than once.
    • Bringing back the choice to play the game without music, sfx or talking. It may seem silly to play the game without these the things, however, season 1 allowed us this freedom and because i enjoyed recording the in game music, sfx and even speech separetly. I was unable to record characters speech with sfx in season 2 without downloading an extractor program.

There's probably more I could think of but these are what I would love to have back in season 3 but we all know the direction telltale are going/have already gone and it's just a far off dream now to be honest. I wish Sean Vanaman and the original writers never left

  • I'm talking about all the characters that debuted in Season 2. Everyone died.

    • Likeable characters that don't die, or at least have a better second death than Sarah and Nick.
    • Same graphics as Season 2
    • Choices that matter
    • Puzzles, like in season 1
    • No constant drifts away from reality
    • Sidequests, like in season 1
    • Longer episodes
    • Clementine as the PC
    • The return of Christa
    • Free-roaming
    • Jumpscares
    • New QTEs

    • I want to play for Clementine again, (and see her in comix or books, maybe too ;) )yeh, it's silly and not "new", i know :) But not "old and mature" Clem. Maybe after Omid's dead.
    • Soundtracks like in Silent hill series :)
    • Longer episodes
    • The return any "old" characters from 1 and 2 season
    1. Characters creation
    2. Return of old characters like Christa, Molly etc
    3. More characters developpements (seriously, season 2 pretty much killed a character every 2 seconds)
    4. Older Clem (which have been confirmed :) )
    5. Kenny
  • Especially Nick. He gets some screen time and gets bit by a zombie or turns into one in Episode 4....

  • 1 ) I really want to play 2 characters, maybe clem and jane/Kenny or a new character completely! and by that we will have each character to experience as many locations without it being too jumpy and not make sense for the timeline etc..

    2 ) longer episodes. please.

3 ) NO KILLING CHARACTERS OFF SCREEN. it will feel cheap either way.

    4 ) choices that matter.

    5 ) interesting characters.

6 ) more diverged storylines, like in MCSM EP2.

    7 ) more locations.

8 ) include light-hearted options every now and then, whether what clementine will wear, OR maybe choose a weapon and each weapon will result in different play style.

    9 ) hub area's. please.

10 ) more realistic writing for clementine.

11 ) don't write a Kenny 2.0, aka hate him because we want you to hate him. I feel Kenny was written for season 2 to be hated. and that's not fair! because he deserved more than that arc he got. and that's why I chose jane. Kenny was weird after that lodge scene and I did not like how they wrote him since then.

12 ) a well developed antagonist, carver had a huge potential, but he was denied to shine as an antagonist. he was meh.

13 ) I can write more, but I feel it won't matter, so I will stop here.

  • Good that they scrapped the idea. I don't think it would have worked that well. Kenny and Carver are just way too different despite some half baked similarities that i'm sure people could find.

As for the question - well nothing really big needs to change. The system already works. Just make it more like season 1. A lot of interaction, not too fast moving, maybe have choices influence future conversations a little bit more and it would be fine with me.

    1. Codex and Unlocks like TWAU
    2. sidequest
    3. Maybe a dialogue system similar to fallout, a certain dialogue choice could be a different color based on the relationship you have with that character, desising what the character will respond based on your relationship at the moment
  • 3.Maybe a dialogue system similar to fallout

["Another settlement needs our help"] [Attack] ["Tunnel Snakes rule!"] ["War…War Never Changes"]

    1.Codex and Unlocks like TWAU

On a serious note, despite the fact that I am an Alpha Negan of the Walking Dead (hehe), so I basically know everything (except the novels, haven't checked them out), I would think if they are going for some more comic connections it might be nice to have some background if they're going to have comic characters or groups (one in particular I think would be cool). I suppose one of the reasons the Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones had those because they're kind of hard to get into if you aren't a fan. The Walking Dead is kind of a everyman's thing, it's not very hard to understand, compared to those. It be nice, but you know.

To be fair, the same thing happens in S1, too. Although I suppose it's worse in S2, since on top if it being a repeat of what happened to everyone in S1, there were various deaths in S2 that served no purpose in moving the story forward, or providing development to another character. S1 had some bad deaths here and there too, but at least a majority of them built towards something in the end. What did Nick and Sarah's deaths build towards? What about Walter? Pete gave some development to Nick, which gets undone the second he becomes determinant. Carlos effects Sarah... for about 40 minutes until she also becomes determinant, and no one else really cares about losing a doctor, a rare commodity in the apocalypse. Half of the cabin group, who are part of the core group of S2, have deaths that barely effect anything or anyone around them. Then you have the core group in S1, where just about every death, be it major or minor, effected someone in some way.
