Clem Loosing a Finger is Determinant!!!

  • Well at the very least I hope they show what happen to her finger. It would be a shame if they time skip over it.

The missing finger looks and probably is recent in that trailor. You have a point but at the same time it doesn't have to be recent.

  • Yes, definitely. I think that would cause too much backlash if they didn't include what happened to it.

  • I'm kind of hoping that the first hour is what leads up to the present. Would be awesome to have an hour of content exclusive to an ending but might be more work than reall needed x.x

That is really cool to learn, but I hope choices having an effect is a little more than that. I also am hoping the timeskip is handled differently than S2. Give us a little more to play out, not 10-15 minute intro followed by 2-3 year time skip.

  • I'm glad I held AJ then :o

Imagine if all the worthless choices would have some effect. Did you hold the baby in Episode 4? No? Too bad, AJ remembers and bites your finger off.

  • You can play Episode 5 of any TTG Narrative game with choices without having played the previous 4...

You can start this season this season without playing the first two... Our choices better be worth something!

  • If we leave Kenny/Jane and go alone with AJ, we will lose finger (Because we are alone, plus we have to protect baby.)

If we go with Kenny/Jane or stay in Wellington, we will not lose finger (Because we have help now.)

  • I predict that there will be a huge difference in Clem's attitude depending on whether you went with Jane or Kenny. With Kenny, she might be more open to family and friends. With Jane, she might be more reclusive and pessimistic.

  • This is what I hope actually happens.

I dont think AJ will bite off her finger. People always complained about how Clemetine was able to take care of a baby all by herself (in the alone-ending). I think its very likely that she went out of food or she found no place for them to stay warm and AJ froze to death or something like that. Maybe Clementine wasnt even aware he died and was checking him while he was turning and he just bit in her finger. A bite means death if you dont cut off the infected part, so she cut off her finger to prevent death. Just my idea, cause I think its more likely this event could happen if Clementine was alone and that it could be prevented if she went with Kenny/Jane.

  • If you guys see the option to "give them the finger" just don't do it.

  • That little sad face :/

I assume she can do something to piss off the family at Howe's or someone at Wellington to trigger them cutting off her finger.

I don't really have an idea for if you go alone other than you encounter someone dangerous.

  • It's unlikely, but if you chose to go with Kenny instead of stay at wellington, a possibility for losing her finger could be frost bite.

  • I am wondering if it depends on your S2 choices why is it bandaged like it was lost recently?

  • LOL

  • A lot of the time big injuries doesn't cicatrize properly ( Or take a long time to be cicatrized ), so to not let it get infected, keep changing the bandage is probably a good idea.

  • Her losing a finger shouldn't have been a thing to begin with imo. It's just one of those many unnecessary shock value things. I bet the guy doesn't lose any fingers.

  • It is highly unlikely that happens but Lilly is probably still alive, like Christina, so they might make another appearance.

I don't think it makes sense to have her more open to friends and family if she is with Kenny. TTG made it very damn clear that Kenny was becoming unstable and had issues getting along with anyone. With Jane on the other hand I think they actually do have a sort of a "family" end. Though, does letting the family in cause harm or good? Jane does work well in groups but is very cautious. I can even make a argument that Kenny/Jane are more in common but I digress.

I'm looking to see if they make this more complex than what I think they will actually do. I do like that the past will impact how she views the world and her attitude. Though, with the time skip you won't really know anything unless they explain it to some degree. Literally the biggest choices that could impact her is the Kenny/Jane one. The other ones will more than likely be swept under and not really referenced to that much.

  • "Launches season 3"

"Uses save file 1 from season 2"

    "Clementine loses her finger"

"Restarts save file 1 from season 3"

"Uses save file 2 from season 2"

    "Clementine keeps finger"

I would honestly do something like this.

    Also... Was this pointless?

  • It's unlikely that AJ bit Clems finger because the bandage that is presented in the trailer is fresh. I've seen amputated fingers they only need to be bandaged for about 2-3 weeks. If the AJ finger thing to occur it would've have happened like 3weeks prior to the trailer.

And whats the problem with that? Maybe she managed to keep him alive for almost 2 years before that happened. Or something happened that the wound opened again.

  • It can never cicatrize depending on the lenght of the injury, sometimes you have to take some medicine and have some procedures to get the skin closer so it can cicatrize properly, even on very small injuries.

  • He had issues to get along with dumb people who didnt like him. How manny times have you seen Bonnie, Luke or Jane try to talk and get along with Kenny? Worse, every time he was sad or angry they wanted you to help him instead of trying themselves to build a relantionship with him (except Mike) and kept saiyng things like "Clem you better talk some sense into him", and you would end up doing this even if you didnt want to

  • It's kind of offtopic, but I was just replaying S1E1, and there's this little scene I absoltely forgot about, in which Clementine cuts her finger while moving a table around and Lee patches it up.

It just made me so sad, and I wanted to share :c

  • What with your obsession with AJ biting Clementine, LMAO!

  • With Kenny, she might be more open to family and friends.

And a little bit quicker to take decisions, which wouldn't end well. Maybe she'd have less time in the decision timer.

With Jane, she might be more reclusive and pessimistic.

And with improved surviving techniques. And maybe more of a leader, since they might've started a new community at Howe's.

Yeah, sure. They were dumb because they didn't like him, right? How come they are so stupid to not get along with this raging man.

And Bonnie tells Kenny not to blame himself if he shot a zombified Rebecca in "Amid The Ruins."

kept saiyng things like "Clem you better talk some sense into him", and you would end up doing this even if you didnt want to

They didn't want to either; Clementine was a child who he probably wouldn't hurt; Clementine had some sort of relationship with him in the past. It's pretty self-explanatory.

I didn't say they were dumb because they didn't like him. They have the right of hating Kenny. I meant they were dumb AND didn't like him. Dumb for doing things like having sex when you should bee on watch for walkers, try to steal food from a big community and get caught, trust Arvo...
