Season 2 had a magnificent start but "change" isn't the word I'd use.
"Grossly contorted" would be more the term I'd use, revolving the plot around a bunch of shitty, expendable, laughably simplified caricatures until any and all interest was drained for many is a much more toxic vernacular I'd use to address Season 2's dislike from people like me.
Hopefully S3 rectifies some of my distrust in TT's ability to write a cohesive story... But, we'll see.
It's just getting really annoying. Also, I'm surprised that people still say that the graphics are bad, considering that the engine is heavily updated. I guess not everyone can be happy with it, I suppose.
I dont think there are that many complaints, it seems people go out of their way to look for negativity. I'm looking at the comments now, the vast majority are positive.
I think it's people being concerned about a series they love and just don't want to see it ruined so I think it's kinda natural for early complaints, seems like this kinda thing happens a lot.
You know, regarding the negativity, the real question we should be asking is; why should we care?
We all have better things to do than get annoyed at someone else's opinion. Well, unless it is a very, very stupid opinion, but that's another subject entirely. Anyways, we shouldn't get annoyed at other people's opinions, because there's a high chance that nothing we say or do will change how they feel. So it's best to live and let live, I suppose. If someone isn't hyped, let them keep feeling that way. If someone's disappointed, let them keep feeling that way. Hell, if someone just outright hates it, then let them continue feeling that way. You yourself like it, and that's what matters the most. Besides, there's more than enough people that share a positive opinion of what we've seen of S3 so far, so it's not like you're hard-pressed to find people that feel the way you do about it. It's not like we're swimming in shitposts and shitcomments about it yet.
With all that said however, there's still valid criticism coming in for what's been seen so far that should at least be heard out. There's a difference between a valid complaint/criticism, and someone basically yelling "I don't like this!" without an explanation. There's also a difference in how we should respond to those two things; we should act like one of them isn't there, and hope it eventually leaves the room.

I haven't heard as many complaints of the forums, but most of what I hear on Telltale's Facebook page, is usually "Fuck this shit give us a another season of a different game that was never confirmed to be picked up for another season." I don't think I've ever seen a positive comment on any Telltale Facebook video. That's part of the reason why I like these forums so much.
Also, I see people hating Javier because he has no story.
Are people aware of the fact that once upon a time, Lee was also just a ra… morendom guy who we knew next to nothing about
Then we all grew to like him a lot over the course of the season
Do people remember this
The biggest complaints I have heard from people are:
. They don't like the graphics
Personally I like the graphics they are more realistic and less cartoonish then what we find in Season 1 and 2.
People are already starting to hate on Javier and the fact that he is a playable character and we know very little information about him.
But I don't see what the problem is because we did the same with Lee, he was just some random guy who we later grew to know as his story began to develop this will be no different in the case of Javier.
People don't like the fact we have 2 protagonist in this series
But correct me if I am wrong, did we not have the same concept with Season 1 and 2. We played both Lee (Season 1) and then as Clementine in Season 2. Soo there really is not much difference I don't see what the issue is. People should be happy Clementine is in this season and that she is playable.
The fact Clementine grew up going from a little girl to a mature teen.
I understand some do not like Clementine's new look and the fact she looks different, but let us be honest, she cannot stay a little girl forever . Personally I like the new Clementine she is a total badass and is really putting forth the skills Lee taught her in much the same way Rick has done with Carl. We should just be glad she is still with us.
I mean, it's one thing to dislike his design and not want to play as him or whatever, but for the love of GOD, the man has said 13 words. You know little to NOTHING about him. At least wait until the release of episode one before you drop your hard opinions on him.
The thing I have noticed is the hate for Javier and all the people coming out of the woodwork who take issue playing Clementine. Haters gonna hate. What can you do? I loved playing as Clem and look forward to seeing the story from 2 perspectives.
My biggest issue is people complaining about playing as 2 two characters, which I thought would be the solution. I thought it was divided into people who didn't want to play as Clementine and wanted someone new to play as, or people who actually still wanted to play as her. Guess it is true, you just can't please everyone.

I don't see how people can already be hating season 3 and saying they refuse to buy it when all we have on season 3 is a logo and a about 1 minute teaser clip... which by the way, only shows any actual characters for maybe 20-30 seconds of the clip?
AronDracula it comes from people hating change. And I suspect some of the Clem hate are from boys who hate the idea of women doing anything even slightly heroic.
People shouldn't be call haters because they have a harsh opinion on something or just an opinion in general. They know what they don't want and voice how they feel if it isn't what they want. You can say they're complaining but they have a reason or reasons as to why they do and they're free to complain if they want. I agree they should at least wait until the first episode to judge it harshly or not but they are entitled to not doing so. It would better to just leave them be and go about your business. Don't let other peoples opinions bother you or at the very least so much. I see stupid comments on youtube every day and though I want to say something I don't. I know it can be difficult though.

Now u dont want RETURN... BUT KENNY WONT
That's it. I'm flagging all your comments.
My legit reaction to every point of yours:

AJ would be 2 at most so we couldn't play as him if that's what you meant
Oh right. Well as long as she's a mentor figure to him (which I know she will be) then it's alright.

Thank you!
This makes no sense.. after all these graphics are an improved version of their old engine. which was not horrible either.

I remember when people said that before S2 came out
And we all know how that turned out
The biggest one that gets me is the Javier hate.

Same. How come people could hate the idea with 2 protagonists? So stubborn
I think anyone still complaining because they wanted just Clem or just someone new is either trolling or a big baby.

but everyone saw he dies
It's fucking determinant, stop being denial.
Welcome to gaming. Where everything sucks, and if it doesn't, it's "pandering."
I haven't seen a single complaint about it yet.
