Telltale does not release episodes straight at midnight. The release date can mean the episode is released at any point that day in Telltale's timezone (Pacific), or the timezone that other stores go by. Telltale has released an episode at midnight a couple times, but that is not a default expectation of them.

The Telltale version (for PC) became available about 15 minutes ago - it's currently downloading but I'll likely have to wait until tomorrow, because it's 3am here... >_<

This is the first time that a Telltale game has been available to pre-order and they can't even release it on time. Don't make it "Available at MIDNIGHT AUGUST 2ND" if it's not going to be fucking available at midnight of August 2nd.
They could have just offered an option to pre-order the first episode at full price instead of the 10% discount for buying the season pass. That way I wouldn't be stuck here refreshing the damn PS store until it's updated. EVERY other game that gets unlocked at midnight is available instantly to download and play.

First off I would like to say that the game is a great take on Batman's first year, and I absolutely love the fact that its not just "Batman" focused. Bruce has an awesome "egotistic" and human side that is not shown very much in games across the board, even in the Arkham games. It was great to see that side of him out from under the mask. Also, being able to walk around the cave, even if it was limited, was great as well. What I hope for the next few episodes is that the character models aren't so stiff, and that everything else has more fluidity to it...but please keep the cell shading! . Do keep up the great story telling, its very on par with Rocksteady.

There's NO incentive to buying the season pass anymore considering they sure as hell made sure that the price would go up 5 dollars after midnight. Its now 3:12PM EST and the episode is not in sight anywhere on the PS Store besides the overpriced season pass.
Sure this is in the long run "no big deal" but in the short term this is fucking bullshit. Instead of offering up an update they decide that there time is best spent retweeting reviews about the game they can't release on time.

I'm glad I wasn't excited about this game at all though, cause waiting the entire day for it while knowing other people some how have it is pretty bullshit.
