I notice most of the guys who commented first-est on that thread are no longer active on forums, glad to be with y'all in all these waiting periods since 3 years (i joined in early 2014) ####neverQuitTellTale-ing

I hope we get news by the end of September. I can't until October dang it! T.T even if it's something about the gameplay or graphical updates it's neeews. Or what about those vine things they did before for Season 2; I thought those were pretty cool.
I remember the days of talking about horribly-tasting canned whole chickens, Carlos's stupidity, shitposting and having fun
I'm a mo… mored, it's my (volunteer) job to hate stuff like that.
in fact, that's the thread that made me be a member here.
Nice to hear that. We don't want the place to be entirely devoid of fun or anything like that, but we also don't want people to treat the forums like a glorified chat room instead of, well, a forum. Lately, we've been trying see if we can improve the quality of discussions while still allowing people to have fun on the side in certain cases, without the forums completely turning into a chat room. It's still something I'm trying to take into consideration with other mods, but at the same time, that unfortunately means at times that we want to cut off things like people talking about canned chickens.

I just hope it isn't like Tales from the Borderlands. I love Tales from the Borderlands, but I hated how Rhys and Fiona (the two playable protagonist) almost never interact with each other. I would understad it if their personalities could change depending on your choices (and even that way, TallTale could have perfectly fixed it, by making them act the same way they acted when we played as them, when aren't), BUT THEIR PERSONALITIES ALMOST NEVER CHANGE! I know it can be hard, I'm writting a book (actually, I'm trying to write the first draft :P) right now, and it also has two protagonists, but AT LEAST MY PROTAGONISTS USE TO STAY IN THE SAME ROOM FOR MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES!
Unfortunately, there is not much time left in September and nothing notable seems to be coming up so I do not see that being the case. Given that the game supposedly launches in early November, I could see some news in maybe around halfway into October, or slightly before that point.

To be fair, I think that's by design. They don't interact with each other much because they don't really want to. Most of the humor in their relationship comes from the fact that they can't stand one another, and they only work together because there isn't much choice. They're reluctant partners that grow to somewhat like each other by the end of the game. But only slightly. It's like upgrading from "I am going to strangle you if I have to be in a room with you for more than 5 minutes" to "I can stomach you for 5 hours per day, but not including the weekends, or else I'm going to bludgeon you with a tire iron"
And I think it kind of works in the game's favor. Makes a scene like the very ending of the game feel a lot more poignant. But that's just me.

(o my god... is this PROPAGANDA!?)
kill me now
Don't worry Sleep. I have a plan to stop Telltale changing stuff so your goat farm remains intact. If we all follow these steps closely from now on for groundbreaking theories, we'll be peachy.

Maybe, but it's still strange how, in such a small group, they badly talk each other. Plus many of the times they go separate is for casualty or other people's choice. Idk, just my opinion.

Can we get a roll call going real quick? How many Season 1 or 2 members do we have here? I joined early Season 2. I probably won't be participating in the forum as much due to my senior semester of college. #civilengineering

I joined around 2011, but I've been a Telltale fan since around probably 2008. So, I've been a Telltale fan for the long haul. It's been crazy to watch them grow from a small studio to a household name. Lots of people came in during/after Season 1, but to have been along for the ride during their earlier stepping stones was cool to see. It's neat to have liked Telltale before they were cool.

Well, I don't count. I joined the forums soon after Borderlands Episode 1, buuut, I've been following Telltale ever since the release of Walking Dead S1E4.

Before the The wolf among us, so after 400 days, but I've been technically following Telltale since 2010. (I played Sam & Max before that, but not any other series).

I joined during Season 2, after A House Divided came out I think. I was stalking for a short while before that until Episode 2 convinced me to join and try it out for a bit.

I joined in 2014, although I had lurked well before that. The earliest I can remember was either pre-400 Days or immediately following 400 Days, although I bet I was around some parts of Season 1. I checked in throughout then.
I had liked some playthroughs of earlier Telltale (Jurassic Park), and the Walking Dead's one got me real interested.

...and a lot of it was off topic filler (understandable since there was not a lot of news up until this February), so I didn't want people to get the impression that the Waiting threads were exactly the same thing as chat rooms.
In addition to what Blind said, there was well over 157 pages and 7.2k comments dating back to August 2014, before even I had an account.
It would have been a lot of comments.

That reminds me - I added a link to the Time Capsule of the Season 3 Waiting Thread to my first response I made to this thread.
I'll also add the link here if you guys wanna look back.
I will love it if Clementine get's a cool fight where she go's hand to hand or with knifes like in michonne's game.
Brace yourselves because Season 3 is coming!
I am really hyped for A New Frontier, hopefully we start getting some news in October.

Hit me with your best shot Telltale, Im ready.
So long as Telltale develop their new characters and bring about a decent story, I'll be happy.
It's coming!! I'll leave this here and pray that this is canon.
Lisa did It xD
I would like to see the vines again, i remember those generating a lot of hype in the lead up to season 2.

Reminder that this goat farm will be featured in A New Frontier.
…quite possibly.
I wouldn't get too hyped up
Maybe they'll change everything because of that thread, just so they can be all like "oh yeah, we got them good"

@emilybuckshot would never do that!

You are my hero.
I predict we'll get the news around 2 weeks before November.

I joined this forum after S2 was finished, but I've been lurking as far back as the S1 days. So whatever that counts as.
Oh yes. The Walking Dead S3 Waiting Thread has finally arrived. Time for the real hype to begin.

Have been since February 2015, but I've been roaming unnoticed around the forum since S2 ended.
I joined earlier this year, all the way back to January, but I was an accountless lurker ever since the wait of "A House Divided."

Been here since '13, before season 2.
It has begun.
In order to pass a little time.
I'm placing bets on what people think Javier's status will be by the end of the season.
*Voting has ended, results posted on next page.
I voted Alive, just to buck the convention set up by Season 2's "scorched Earth policy."
Edit: I'll leave the poll open for a few days and post the results further down the discussion.
I've been a member since S2, but I haven't really been active until about the time Tales/Thrones/Minecraft was a thing.
