What do you think should I do another in a few days where we deal with the ending of letting the survivors enter the camp?

    Sure, go ahead.

  • I renege my vote from Unknown to Determinant... that would be so telltale to do that!

    The results of the poll I ran regarding Javier's status by the end of Season 3... What's Javiers status? 60.87 % Alive (28 votes) 21.74 % Determinant (10 votes) 10.87 % Dead (5 votes) 6.52 % Unknown (3 votes) 46 total votes.

  • Well it was a joke, but that's okay, go mad.

Did Javier own that baseball shirt since before the ZA?

Does that mean Javier has been wearing that same baseball shirt as long as Rick was wearing his Sheriff shirt in the TV show?

I hope he remembered to bring deodorant.

  • You cannot do that, Time!

I will borrow the truck from @Tobi-Is-A-Good-Boy, load it tons of dog treats and catnip, and I will dump all onto that bait toilet seat! Then I will flush and we will have created a wormhole to the Telltale headquarters. Then I will proceed to take the pets hostage and the plan will continue as initially said.

…except we won't have treats and catnip anymore. Fuck.

Okay, I'm naive for hoping that the goat farmers will sedate Javier before branding him, but you are hoping that he carries a bar or bottle of deodorant around with him, Lilac?

Everybody smells terrible on the other side of the screen! Changing AJ's diapers would be unpleasant if we could smell, but the writers will want it to be cute.

  • It's okay to pass the time and make small talk, but please try to have actual conversation based around Walking Dead. In other words, please don't post random things just for the sake of posting. It's okay if there is nothing new to discuss for a while.

[Please note: Filler posts extend to things like pictures of food, or posts asking why nobody is posting. Please keep your posts focused on genuine attempts on conversation about Walking Dead.]

Wow, that's SO cool! Do you think you can make one when you leave with Kenny and A.J. instead of going into Wellington?~

In regard to a potential "The Walking Dead Miscellaneous Talk" thread mentioned here, I have created a quick strawpoll to gather opinions more efficiently.

To be honest I'm actually excited to meet Javier too! But it's a shame that we don't know much about him yet, he actually does look BAD-ASS! I also found out that the symbol on Javier's neck is a Capricorn symbol and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the "Capricorn Farm" building in The Walking Dead Season 3 poster in the background, I found it in a YouTube video!!~

Cant wait for Javier. He looks like a badass. And he is a big brother like me. Finally someone I can identify myself with.

  • I would like a thread like that to be created. I have lots of thoughts and predictions for A New Frontier that I can post there :)

  • To be fair, the age at which hair grows in can vary and I can speak to that with personal experience. My hair did not grow in until I was almost three. I'm a girl also so it's not like it was a stylistic choice my parents made. My mom would get strangers sympathetically ask in public if I had been diagnosed with cancer and was going through chemo, when really I was just a bald toddler.

  • Awww, our little girl's all grown up and so has her hat and hair-thingies. Javi could learn a thing or two about fashion from our girl Clem. She's even killing zombies in style.

  • I know some people will hate the comparison I'm about to make, but that image reminds me of Ellie from The Last of Us.

Ellie was a bow-master badass, and from the image I evaluate that Clementine with be a knife-master badass cause that fucking stance is pretty legit.

  • Nah I don't get that from Clem, but I do I get it more from the coat that possible sister of Javier's is wearing in one of the screenshots. Looks like she stole it from Ellie's Winter segment of The Last of Us.

Here in Australia our two main retailers have The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series listed for the 15th/16th of November. This hasn't been announced has it? They could just be placeholder dates.

  • I was referring in-part to her plaid over shirt resembling Ellie's in the final segment of the game.

But I would think if there was any point to be stolen from TLoU, it'd have to be the winter segment.

[Random Season 3 pondering of the day...]

How will Clementine and the rest of womankind survive when all the tampons and pads are gone? Will reusable pads and menstrual cups become a thing?

If Clem gets her period do the walkers ignore her for 5 to 7 days because they think periods are gross and don't wanna go near that shit? Could she use that tactic better than the walker guts to repel the undead? Because I'd very much like to see that. It could save lives.

  • That's not a bad comparison. I'm not sensing too many Ellie vibes from Clem, but there's no doubt in my mind that's she's gonna be a knife-wielding badass. Or a gun-wielding badass. Or any type of badass.

It's actually crazy to think that Clementine is now around the same age as Ellie. They keep saying she will be 13/14, and Ellie was 14, if I remember correctly. She better not inherit that mouth though. Swear.

  • I know that I'm in a minority among the forums of people who actually felt her more boisterously explicit language was appropriate considering she was raised after a cataclysmic apocalypse with many mannerisms being drastically changed.

But I'm sure Clementine's swearing would pale in comparison to Ellie's near Kane and Lynch-ian level of vulgarity.

Because of just about everything really.

The sudden change of a playable character.

    The villain.

The narrative shifts constantly swapping between Ellie and Joel, further extending the tension of said community scene.

    Ellie's fucking sick jacket.

    All of it.
