So just because we have a new main character you all are gonna bash the game even though you haven't played it yet? Thats mature...
Yes this may be Javier's story but its still Clem's story too. Im pretty sure that Clem isn't going to just be there as a guest star. And like they said before, both of their stories are intertwined so its not all about Javier or Clem, its about how they both need to work together and survive.
You all need to chill.
News awesome!
I hope Clementine will still have a lot of screen time. And even if this the story of Javier, it's also the story of Clementine, I know it.

I would say the entire season would be the correct narrative choice. Otherwise, the first episode would be perceived as an outcast compared to the rest.
I am rather happy that Javier and Clementine are sharing protagonist.
I know he said Javy was gonna be playing a bigger role than Clem, but did he specify that Javy was going to play more of a role in the whole season? If he didn't specify then I hope it's a bigger role in only episode 1.

I can't speak with 100% certainty for others, but I think some of us are just nervous that we won't get to see Clem that often, despite what Telltale says.
Clem isn't the entirety of what makes TWD amazing though- so I'm still hyped as hell and will enjoy the game no matter what route it decides to take.
Though I AM pretty immature, so I can't defend myself there hehe.
I'm pretty sure Clementine will still play an important role even though they are hinting that the story will focus more on Javier.
Job mentioned that Clementine's and Javier's roles will be reversed so i think there will be times where Clem is taking care of Javier rather than having people take care of her which could be interesting, also Clementine is a popular character so i can't see them abandoning her while putting all their focus on Javier.

Clementine taking care of Javier sounds intriguing... Wonder how it's all going to play out.
At least whole we're playing as Javier, we can trust Clem to have our back!
I'm actually just worried about either of them not having enough screentime/development. Javi is too new for us to afford hardly getting to know him, while if we get too little of Clem, it'll make prior seasons worthless.
It's one of the hilarious faces she makes when she dies.
I in no way "enjoy" watching Clem's death's, I just think the face's TTG gave her are hilarious.
I was a little disappointed at first with the "This is Javier's story" thing, but after watching the thing (I don't know what you call it, Panel or something?)
I am actually more excited now then before. Even if Javy is the main focus, I think it sounds really interesting with the way the roles have sort of reversed. (Glad I didn't stay up for nothing)
I'm trying to keep an open mind towards this new season, but I don't like what they are doing so far (removing Season 3's name to appeal new players, make Javier be the main protagonist and keep Clementine a bit in the back...).
I always thought that Telltale's The Walking Dead protagonist was Clementine. If they wanted to appeal to a new audience who hasn't played the previous seasons, they could've just released a spin off game without messing up with Clem's story.

I think having Season 3 being focused on Javier is a good thing. I think if Clementine was the focus again, the story would retread the same path as Season 1 and Season 2 did (Finding a group, surviving, deaths, tragedy etc.)
As far as I know, Javier is different. We will be playing a character who has his family amidst the Zombie Apocalypse. This gives it more emotional weight and responsibility. And having new protagonist to immerse yourself into and mold makes it refreshing to start playing TWD while also having the plus of playing as Clementine again and continue her character from your previous games.
This is Javier's story
YES! I love Clem, but this is what I've been waiting to hear. I still think we can still get a good 50/50 split between the characters though.
It doesn't sound like they're abandoning Clem at all. The dynamic may be more like we're playing Lee again and Clem will have just as central importance to us, if not moreso, than season one. Except this time around, we're not taking care of her and she's more like our partner instead. Sounds great to me.

While this is true, I have to disagree. Ratings-wise, Michonne was rather dull. Wasn't everyone dissappointed? 400 days was meh in ratings. S1/2 though is solidly over9.0, both of them.
I feel that Walking Dead is more of an expanded-universe type of situation. 400 Days and Michonne liked to look at other characters beyond the scope of Lee and Clem.
Glad to see that Telltale are expanding on the universe and introducing some new protagonists, finally moving away from the focus constantly being on just one character all the time, who for me, isn't even all that interesting.

That's my picture!! >:O
Kidding, heh. It's fine.
I'm very excited to be immersed in Clem's story again.

I'm not bashing the game, I'm just a tad concerned. I'm still excited, don't get me and others wrong.
Same here, will be good to be back in the TWD world.
I want to see how Clem's doing as well!
@VirulentVulpine My exact reaction xD

When does she even do that? (No spoilers for episodes 4-5 please)
P.S. Your avatar perfectly matches this moment.
So do I!
I haven't seen it yet. Thanks!
Nice avatar!
Episode 2.
On the bridge.

Gotta change my avatar to that now as well. (° ͜ʖ°)

Javier > Clementine
That would cause so much confusion.
I was planning on changing my profile picture to this for a long time.
I'm so happy that TellTale isn't scared of trying new things
That sounds very intriguing indeed!

I (luckilly) think I've only ever seen one of her deaths, and that was in episode 1.

I wonder who could be the "familiar face" Maybe Lily? Would be really cool.

That would be lame. They need to mix things up.
I just noticed he called Javier the Lead Character...
Anyway, sorry for the useless comment, I wasn't sure if anyone else pointed it out.

THIS.
Why all the Clementine hate? I didnt think there was such a thing.
Sounds good, clementine being changed back to a supporting role is good news.
