Just a little theory of mine I kinda want to share on a possible way I think the story can go based on what Job said about Javier needing Clem and the roles are almost switched.
What Im starting to think is that by Javier needs Clem that it isnt in a way for survival. I highly doubt anyone could have survived that long and the moment things go wrong they need to rely on a child. So Im guessing Javier needs Clem for something else. What Im thinking is Javier's family is probably taken by whatever the main antagonist group is, and by the looks of it branded Javier and his family. As they are taken to the main base Javier escapes but without his family. After words he would run into Clem, who is also trying to find the same group because they took her people (Kenny and Jane (family) and if you were alone, I suppose they could make a new character that would appear no matter what along with Kenny and Jane) but what Telltale seems to be saying, its almost like Tales from the Borderlands again, where out two protagonist dont really trust each other but need to work together. For Clem's case, she sees that Javier is marked, so may think that he is lying and wont straight up tell Javier where the group is. Basically Im saying that I think the reason that Javier and Clem will be working together is because Clem has/knows something that Javier needs to know, I highly doubt an adult 4 years in the apocalypses would be so defense theyd need a child to protect them.
They probably mean that Javier needs Clem in the sense of her acting as a kind of emotional support/pillar for him. Someone that, despite the age gap, he shares some common ground with. Someone that he can confide in. Someone that can understand where he's coming from. Someone that he can benefit from having around, as much as she could probably benefit from him. Even if they don't fully trust one another, Clementine can act as a shoulder for him to lean on, due to her going through the same kind of hell Javier likely has.
It doesn't necessarily mean the two will be close friends though, nor that they'll reciprocate the reasons they depend on one another. For example, Clementine might just be sticking close to Javier because he acts as a means to an end for her and her goals, while Javier's reasons might turn out to be a bit more personal. Or maybe it's the other way around; Javier's using Clementine for his own ends, while Clementine actually looks up to him and sees something in him that he doesn't necessarily see in her, at least not at first (Joel and Ellie, anyone?). There's a lot of different directions they could take their relationship in.

Oh I just can't imagine it. Aj calling her "Clemmy", that'd be freaking adorable. He would be a little trouble maker and our poor Clem would have to deal with all his bs. Also here's a Teen Clem version of your comment- Aj: (in his weak toddler tone) will we be okay Clemmy?? Clem: (sighs and then becomes angry)"Clemmy"!! seriously AJ?!? Just stick with Clem or Clementine OK?!! Clemmy is just too childish. Don't even say that. Aj: (starts sobbing) I'm sorry sissy I didn't mean to make you mad. Clem: (rolling her eyes) now don't you start... ( Takes a pause and sighs)...(suddenly seems happy) on second thought Clemmy is actually a pretty cool name. Aj: (between sobs) really? Clem: (with fake enthusiasm) hell yeah bruh, totally!! Aj and Clem give each other a high five Aj: so will we be OK or not Clemmy? Clem: (in high pitch as if annoyed) how the hell should I know? Aj: (starts sobbing again) Clem: (rolls her eyes) god dammit. Not this again...

I wonder how intense Clementine's sass will be in Season 3... She could already be pretty snarky in Season 2, so I'm expecting great things.
Clem definitely doesn't seem like the type of character to become your standard teen, I mean she was more mature at age 11 than most of the adults in the damn game... I think she'll just be badass and sassy, maybe a little grumpy too.

I think Clem could become very sassy and maybe even aggressive at some points to people she considers her enemy. I'm sure she will be gentle and sweet with AJ, as well as with Javier, during times where he may be scared or lost, she can lend him emotional support. Clem seems she could already be acting like a full fledged adult by now, because she was more mature and logical in Season 2 than any of the adults, who were fucking idiots at some points. I'm very excited to see Clem's character in Season 3.

Using Lee as an example is sort of unfair because we, having played season 1, have an emotional connection with Lee. So even if we try to p… moreretend that we don't know him it's still difficult to put Lee in Javier's, a complete stranger to us, shoes.
Disclaimer: I do not wish for Javier to die. I'm just saying...
No way, man. I wouldn't like Lee to die because he was the playable character in Season 1. However if Clementine was the playable character in Season 1 we may could understand her better and deter her from listening to the words of "The Stranger". Although this would be a great opportunity, I wouldn't like Lee to die because of this. He could have lived and be a playable character in Season 2 along with Clementine. I wouldn't mind.
Let's play a mind game - what if, theoretically speaking in some different timeline or whatever, the roles were swapped between Seasons 1 an… mored 2.
There would be a different version of Season 1 without Lee Everett, where Clem was the playable character and similar events happen in Season 1 without Lee being there. Lee Everett goes on to survive until the events of Season 2 and is the new playable Character in that Season. Lee encounters Clem by chance, and they go on to have the same dynamic that they had in our version of Season 1, with Lee protecting Clementine (and Clementine is not as hardened or self sufficient this time around, so she still needs Lee). The time skip is ditched, so Lee and Clem are close enough to the same age as Season 1.
Would people want Lee Everett to die because he took the spotlight away from Clem?
You are right, but it will be a great adventure for me and if I'll find the one who kidnapped AJ, I 'll kill him Very painfully... It doesn't have to have a choice to kill him or not...

Another thing I want to see in Season 3 is Clementine making mistakes while taking care of AJ. I mean, nobody taught her how to care for a baby... I want to see her, through trial and error, learn how to raise AJ.
I also want to see Javier interact with AJ, since he has a family of his own. Will he sympathize with Clementine and AJ (her family), and help them out, or will he choose to protect his own family instead? That would make for some interesting player choices!
That would be intriguing to see! Maybe Clem and AJ choose to either join Javier's family, or decide to move on, going their own way. I think Javier could maybe help Clem out in some areas with taking care of AJ, and give her tips. Me personally, I would have Javier help Clementine's family (Her and AJ), because they only have each other left in their group, and need all the help they can get.

I don't have an emotional bond with Lee, and I never did have. I can assure that it's highly probable people would react similarly to how they are to Javier—before the season even debuts, that is.

That is such a good idea, and I think it will actually happen considering how Job said that Aj is a very big situation she is dealing with. I wish we would get to see that part through Javier's eyes so we can actually see her committing some mistakes and maybe get a dialogue choice to help her out!! That'd be very sweet. Now thanks to you I'm even more hyped for this game also if we are not playing as Javier ( in that part) and he doesn't decides to help her out then he gets his ass kicked

Yeah. Javier is not even close to Lee. They are two completely diffirent characters.
I really want Luke to be alive because he died a silly "death" (in my opinion). Drowning sucks :P However, he MAY be alive, in some way or another.
Both seasons are Great in their own way.

Thank you so much, I will absolutely keep doing those little scenarios!

There is literally no way of knowing that.
It's just a meme that people use to falsely attribute a quote to someone saying "X was a mistake".
Well... (in my version of teen Clem) ...neither does she

...and you know this based off of... a couple of seconds of him being in a teaser???
Are you saying that JAVIER IS THE REICARNATION OF LEE?! hiperventilating
I don't want Clementine to be a bland superhero. Characters are supposed to posess qualities and flaws, not just the former.
For example, it is impossible for her to be "sassy" and "polite."
Telltale, give this man a cookie!
This has got the the basis for the season.
