I think it's just a placeholder rather than a delay until next year, Telltale probably asked all retailers to remove the November 15th date until they know for sure what date it will release which i feel will be this year even if it falls back until December (worst case scenario).
After posting that i had another thought which i posted above, i guess it could be possible for the season pass disc rating to also be used … morefor episode 1 (as the concept of season pass discs releasing along side episode 1 is still fairly new) and they could be using the title "season pass disc" to hide the episode name to avoid spoilers before they are ready to announce episode 1's official name.
