Ok..let's go on what we know...someone..who shall remain nameless basically indicated there would be some footage this week. Now Sat is the… more last day of the week..but there would have been some form of update and advertising. Epic Fail.
Now this disappointment leads to a question...what is going on with the game and the Marketing.
I submit...the continued issues with the engine...frame rates and bad mobile performance, mixed with the admittedly awesome Batman which is suffering with the engine. A delay was inevitable. The engine needs a lot of optimizing. There is probably so much legacy code that it is a nightmare.
If the game is facing these issues...then why not be honest and open. Being delayed would suck...but at least we would know and knowing would calm people down.
Communication is not a bad thing, and it would lead to a happier community.
I'm not angry that Telltale hasn't released TWDG S3 yet. I'm angry that Telltale's communication with TWDG fans has been non existent for the last month or so.

I think a mod should just take the "hints of 8 minutes of footage" out of the title until Job or someone at Telltale confirms it. I guess th… moreis is a lesson for me, and others to not look for details in replies unless Job or Telltale mention it in his own tweet or whatever.
With how people like to make filler comments here, I would say that you should only expect news if you see, like 500 to 1,000 new posts in a… more short time. People make filler posts here a lot, so don't expect something small like 100-300 new posts to indicate anything special happened.

I don't think it's fake maybe because they sell the disc with the "code" or something of the game that when the game will be released you can just download it by using the disc. This is my guess and it's the most logical thing that I think.

It's still November last I checked. I'll admit to being... perturbed at the 11/11/16 tweet saying we'd be seeing or hearing something this week, which is pretty much over unless they are putting something out on a Saturday. Next week is Thanksgiving, and maybe we'll hear something on Black Friday about a release on the 29th, literally the last day in November of this year.
At this point I'll be happy if it even comes out this year.
Like I've said before, I dislike delays, but understand they are oftentimes necessary, it's the total lack of any communication that bites my ass. But like I've said before, given all the platforms it's coming out on, they may be prevented from making statements due to contractual issues.
Look on the bright side. Some people do not want to watch the gameplay to start the third season without spoilers, but could not resist the temptation. In my opinion, it would be even better, guys. We are waiting for key-art and the trailer next week. Then screenshots

Has Telltale released the game for consoles and they keep it as a secret? Or is this just a placeholder date?
Is that the cover art? Has it been rated by the ESRB?
