Ok, I just logged in for the first time in a while and I'd like say I'm a little ticked off that we've had to wait 2 1/2 years for this new season. It's kind of ridiculous that it's taken a back seat to 5 other taletell titles since then, even though I really did enjoy the Game of Thrones.
While it'll be nice to dust off the old PS3 again, It's a little disappointing that saves probably won't be transferable to the PS4, given the lack of official word on the matter. I guess I could buy the entire series for PS4 and replay the previous seasons again, being that I'll probably need to in order to remember what's actually going on, but that would mean wasting money and time I've already spent.
So with all that in mind, Season 3 of The Walking Dead better be something spectacular. I expect nothing less than a return to the length and quality that was in Season 1, in fact exceeding it. But I have my doubts, being that the quality and amount of real choices found in Season 1 we're sacrificed and degraded for the cheaper tact of the illusion of choice found not only in Season 2 of TWD, but also in Game of Thrones, and I expect found in other newer titles that I was too suspicious of to try. If that same insulting approach is found in S3, I'm just gonna give up on any future titles. So, here's hoping that's not the case.

Mostly because the PS4 versions fixed most of the technical issues of the PS3 version, and they run at 60fps at 1080p resolution. They should also be cheap to buy as of now ($15-$20 cheap individually).

Im not sure I'm going to be interested in the new Walking Dead game from TTG if my saves are not transferable to next gen systems or if "a new frontier" is a reboot. I don't even have my 360 anymore.. Im invested in the choices i made throughout the first two seasons of the game, not the franchise or the IP. If I'm starting over, there isnt going to me much motivation for me to play it. Theres plenty of other things out there right now.
