Why bring out two episodes at the same time? I don't understand this.
If episode 2 is pretty much done then they should make it a bit longer, add in a couple conversations, a new exploration area etc, and just release it a month after. People wouldn't mind whatsoever.
(Sorry I'm slow to the uptake, haven't checked this thread in a while).

...that doesn't change anything about what I said?
If they felt they needed to do that they they should still have used a month time gap to make the second episode AMAZING, especially because length has been a massive problems in their games lately going by reviews and the forums.

Ooh the save system will help a lot. I switched from iOS to PC during the middle of Tales from the Borderlands and had to replay the save file I was going to use. My sister didn't want to do it again, but now she might not have to!
You're repeating the same thing without actually responding to my points.
It was originally one episode, but now they are advertising it as two episodes. They could have delayed the second to work on it more and no-one would have batted an eyelid.
I said this in the thread for the concept art originally, but I'm happy it was released. Not only for how fucking cool the art is, but the art photos themselves win me soooo many arguments about "choices not mattering."

Get fucked, naysayers.

I didn't see ANYONE here complaining about Telltale giving us 2 episodes at the release.
There's a difference between ending a one full episode and between ending half an episode.
In this case if they'd released only the first episode we would just end on the half of it and not on the actual ending of that specific episode.
They can't just cut the episode in the middle and tell us to wait a month when its supposed to be a full episode.

We have no idea how long these two episodes are to begin with. You can start throwing pitchforks or whatever when we have a confirm game time for both episodes.

People not complaining about something doesn't mean they would have complained had it not happened. It's normal to get the next episode a month or so after the previous one. This is the norm. No-one would have complained.
There's a difference between ending a one full episode and between ending half an episode.
But these are clearly described as two episodes.
'Two episodes premiering on december the 20th'. Not 'part 1 and 2 of episode 1 premiering on dec 20th'.
They are clearly saying these are separate episodes. So it wouldn't be 'cutting the episode in the middle' if they worked more on episode 2.

I'm not throwing pitchforks, but regardless of their current length, they could have just done some more work on episode 2 with a normal release schedule. Just curious as to why they wouldn't want to do that.
Also if this was originally just one long episode, I wonder if we'll now get 6 episodes.

Maybe because they've done all the work they wanted for episode 2? Have you considered it? Why adding something else, work more on the episode if there is nothing more to add in their opinion?

Did you see the names of the episodes?
Ep 1: 'Ties That Bind' Part One
Ep 2: 'Ties That Bind' Part Two
This is STILL 1 Episode split into 2.
They had already finished the first episode and saw that it was too big to be in ONE episode so they had to put it into 2. Its not like they had to do something different for episode 2. It's a part of episode 1 That was cut out of it because it was too big and had to use it somewhere so they used it as episode 2.

They removed the "(season 3)" from the game's title on steam.
It was "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (season 3)" and now its just "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier"

I'm doing the same thing.

Because episode 1 was too big to be alone so they had to split it into 2 episodes.
Twdg s3 & Tlou 2: coming out
Anxiety: gone
Depression: cured

Grave? Maybe that's the Kenny ending and that's after he has died?

Well to be fair we don't yet know how much our choices will matter, only that they don't completely ignore them, which is good I guess.
This feel extremely fitting.

Yeah but them not completely ignoring the choices is a step within itself, lol.
Well 12 more days to launch so see ya until 20 December!

I love Negan so fucking much. You can turn almost all of his lines into some sort of reaction gif/pic.
We are ALL Negan, Mustache.
11 left here for australia

Because in a ZA, people need to get drunk, Sleep >.>
12 more days to go
Where exactly in London will they be? I don't have Twitter, but I do technically live in London!
Thank god they fixed Fiona. She looks like a guy.
Even Omid is Negan.
Nuuuuuuu! TT_TT
All I want is for Kenny to return in my ending, and then I can be happy as a clam.
Don't fight it. We're all Negan...even you.

That's a little disappointing, I was kinda glad that it still had that "(Sesaon 3)"
Yep. Want to see him in new engine also.
Because its not really season 3 it's almost like a whole new story
Exactly. It's too bad that I stayed at Wellington and now he probably won't return for me though
That's probably Telltale still pushing for newer costumers.
Its still a season 3.
