That sounds like your save might have been uploaded to Playstation's cloud because of Playstation Plus.
To upload your save for Season 3 … moreyou need to open up Season 2, then go to your saves, then press SQUARE on your save to upload it to Telltale's cloud. That save should bring both your S1 and S2 choices over.
I was disappointed by the initial statement that the episodes are an hour and a quarter long each, but my excitement for the season—and especially for Capricorn Farm—has not decreased. I know Telltale is working hard at implementing data from previous seasons to change Clementine and her segments, and I am also interested on meeting Javier!

Is there a difference in accuracy of choices if we just pull the save file from cloud versus using the story generator? I'm asking because I have my 360 packed up, so if it makes no difference then it'd be easier to use the story generator.

To be honest i think only 1st and 2nd eps. will be 1:15 cause they split them and they became so small other eps. will probably be 1:30 or 1:40 long or maybe even longer.

Yeah...This is the sort of thing that makes me worried. I was kinda hoping that Season 3 will have the same episode length as Season 1 did. … moreUnless they somehow rushed through the 1 hour and 15 minutes without spending time talking to people in Hubs (if there are one).
I also remember during an E3 discussion with Greg Miller that they promised that Season 3 will be "considerably larger". I don't see how 1h and 15 minutes on the two first episodes is considered "larger."
Who knows, it may be awesome after all. But I still miss the longer episodes.
