Why do "parents" always think that every time that if two teenagers of opossite gender that are around the same age interact with each other... or have even look at each other, or are even in the same building for ten seconds, they're gonna fuck? It doesn't make fucking sense! It's not hormones or sex, is about crating a bond for around ten years BEFORE they even think that the other looks remotely cute. Yes, Gabe get's pissed if you betray Clem, but of course he was gonna get pissed! He saw an act of injustice! Who wouldn't get pissed!? If you actually don't side with Clementine when she shoots the guy in the face (which EVERYONE sided with her), you'll get to chat with Eleanor some more and eventually Clem will walk up to you two. Eleanor can call Javy "darling" and Clem rolls her eyes and says "UGH, gross." Also if you kiss Kate she clearly rolls her eyes too. Not with a smile or anything, she genuinely isn't interested.
So I feel like she will either reject him in a not so-nice-way or just back off completely.
I like the Idea. I think that having a relationship would help Clem overcome her trauma of getting too close to people, not to mention that being around Clem would be good for Gabe, as she could teach him how to be a survivor and (hopefully) man the fuck up!
Also, for all the people worrying that he may try something shady, c'mon guys, we all know who would be wearing the pants in that relationship. I'm sure she would pop him the moment he tried something funny. Beanie Boy got nothing on Clem!
It's kinda irrelevant to me since Gabe will probably die or telltale will forget about the relationship. And seeing how telltale fans are it's nearly impossible to find a "good" boyfriend for her. Really it doesn't matter in my opinion who she possibly dates at this point.
I think Clem is just not interested in romance, at least at the moment. She's only 13 and she's trying to survive in the apocalypse and has a lot of issues regarding trusting and caring for people. I thought it was nice that they had Clem briefly talk to Gabe, though. I want to see more interactions between them, though, because Clem could really use a friend her age.
