Aw crap forgot Luke who's pretty chill and sort of reliable.
Lee
Clementine
Kenny
Luke
Nick
Carley
Molly
Mike
Basically everyone on this list.
Anyone on that list except Kenny.
One thing is for sure, I do not want an edgy man-baby in a group I'm in.
I think
Doug
Matthew
Are okay too. A guy that would offer me food even though he had only two cans left is okay in my book. Doug is okay as well. Choosing between Doug and Carley was a nerve racking decision.
Negan
Jesus
Dante
Lee
Christa
Oh yeah there's Omid too who is pretty cool in my opinion.
Why Negan?
Lee is a great leader.
Kenny is a strong family man.
Clementine is a strong, but young face that in a way, shows the life of the zombie apocalypse, she starts young and scared and becomes older and strong, a transformation I love.
Javier has proven to be a nice hearted man and a good leader.
Luke has everyone's best interests at heart, if there was no Kenny in Season 2, Luke would have been the next best.
Alvin was the real moral stand point of the original Season 2 group.
Charles gave up his life for Clementine, something Ben would not do.
Tripp is a strong and trustful man that gives you the benefit of the doubt and can enforce an iron fist.
Eleanor is a well-minded and sweet medic.
I agree with Chuck who I forgot to add in the list.
Hmm... this is basically my dream team for who I'd want to end up with. Good idea for a discussion!
I hope to see more Season 3ers on the list eventually. I feel like Tripp will soon be the next Kenny.
I would add Javier too but I guess I was thinking I was Javier in his viewpoint of who to pick.
Hopefully. Not entirely sold on them just yet haha. I guess we'll have to see.
I agree! I mean I hated all of the original crew at first for Season 2, but I grew to really like Luke (before he sadly passed).
Javier and Tripp are pretty enjoyable to me so far, and I do like Tripp as the second hand man in a way for their little group.
Jesus is also really cool, but if I didn't know him from the show and comics, I probably wouldn't trust him just yet haha.
I only need one from each season:
They're hot, level-headed, loyal, reliable, compassionate, and born leaders in their own right.
We'd also be more effective as a small group of 4.
"Hot"
Uhm...
It's the apocalypse. Your allies might as well look good helping you too.
Lee
Kenny
Carley
Molly
Luke
Javier
Eleanor
If you are a guy then it's bro city, if you are a girl, you may get pregnant... a few times. Haha
True The cabin crew didn't really grow on me until I'd replayed episode 2 again, and hell, I didn't even care about Jane all that much until after I replayed the season a couple of times, and now she's become my favourite character! So hopefully this new batch can deliver in some aspects.
Gotta say though, I'm liking Tripp so far, even though I find his willingness to go along with whatever your calls are after Prescott falls to be a little weird. And like a bunch of other people, Javier really surprised me. Maybe it's his sense of humour that he can sometimes have, or the fact that he seems to mesh pretty well with Clem (unless you betray her... bastards xD), but he seems to be a genuinely cool dude. Sort of like a Luke clone with the power of a pro baseball swing.
Jesus is the man xD Same, though. I'd probably be pretty hesitant towards him, and I'm curious as to what his role's gonna be. I haven't really read much of the comics, but I know that he used to live at that Hilltop place.
Vince (Leader)
Doug (Technician)
Tripp (Mechanic)
Eleanor (Doctor)
Hey Zeus (Fighter)
Alvin (Father figure)
Charles (Wise man)
Luke (Swordsman)
Molly (Badass Assassin)
Pete (Michonne)
Heck let's add Ben for fun
Actually I do not know what Jesus is doing out in Richmond at the moment. Sort of confused me.
Tripp's willingness to go with whatever we say is weird. However, I can only infer that Tripp may have gone through something similar, as Tripp says, he would not put Eleanor in trouble again. Well, maybe that was another group? He was the leader of Prescott (so we can infer) but was there someone before him, and when he showed up, maybe that man died and he took responsibility? It could show why he gave up his leadership in a matter of seconds. That, or he may have realized that everything was TNF's fault and not Javier's thus when Prescott fell, he didn't blame Javier.
However, Tripp isn't just the helper, he still practically leads with Javier, he makes decisions, he tells you off, he makes recommendations, so in a way, he's still in charge, I just wonder why he gives Javier more of the reigns. I still like him none the less!
Also, sadly our view may change for Season 2. I loved Kenny, and hated Jane personally! Haha, I love how this game can cause us to love one character while someone else hates the character you love haha.
Nate Kenny Lee omid I wonder how Nate and would act
Lee, Kenny and Clementine. The holy three of TWD. Don't need anyone else.
Hmm, Jesus is probably just chilling out here, doing whatever the heck he wants to xD He's a pretty magical human being, doing wall kicks and ending up looking like a total badass. Well, at least for once, we know there's a character out there that has complete immunity to death, but whether that's a good or bad thing is probably heavily debatable.
Tripp did seem to care quite a bit about Elanor, didn't he? It'd be nice to get some backstory as to what they were doing before and what sort of problems they encountered during their time at Prescott. While I liked the option to go over and chat with him in episode 2, it really wasn't enough. They need to give us varied, branching dialogue questions with the guy so we can put the pieces together a little bit. I honestly wasn't entirely sure whether the two groups had encountered each other before, but with the way that Badger, Max and the rest followed them to the gates and started making threats, they might've crossed paths at some point.
xD No worries, I know there are plenty of mixed feelings on her lol. I don't think I've ever played a game where the fanbase can be so divided on certain characters, but I actually kind of like it that way. It makes for some interesting arguments when people aren't constantly bashing each other.
Oh well. At least we can now officially say that Jane and Kenny got pretty crappy sendoffs either way xD We've all come together in mutual despair haha!
Pretty much haha!
I feel however that Kenny got a bigger send off both times. Jane gets stabbed and no words. Kenny gets shot but gets extra words.
Jane hangs herself.
Kenny gets flung out the car, tried to get up, fails, then saves Clementine.
Sort of unfair how Kenny got a little bit bigger of a moment.
I don't know if it's just my choice, but I actually felt emotianl weight when Kenny died in Season 3. Most people choose the options to "Not give up", while I saw that it was over. I chose to say "Goodbye Kenny" and man did it make me cry. Clementine's face as she sat there in silence staring at Kenny, it broke my heart. The other two choices are boring and end fast for such a beloved character, but saying goodbye slows down the world and goes to a close up of Clementine's face as she stares in disbelief that Kenny is not going to make it, her best friend. As she says "Goodbye, Kenny" very slow and with pain in her eyes, I couldn't help but cry as the world sped back up and Kenny pulled all the zombies to him (instead of a zombie just attacking him ad he pushes Clementine away).
The choices I made, allowed me to not feel mad, but sad that it was finally over and in such a sad way.

That's a fair statement, although if I'm being honest, had it been the other way around (as in, Jane getting more lines than Kenny), I think more people would likely be a little ticked off. After all, this is a guy we were watching and interacting with for two whole seasons - way longer than even Lee got - so to have an ending where he couldn't speak would probably be a buzzkill. Not saying that Jane deserved the silent treatment either, and I'll get to her in a sec, but still. At least Sir Kenneth went out trying to save the people he cared about
I haven't actually done Kenny's ending yet, and I haven't seen anybody choose the "goodbye" option online, but I'd imagine it'd be pretty devastating. I still say they rushed the heck out of both of the characters in some flimsy attempt to make your choices "matter", but even though he ended up becoming a shell of the guy we met on Hershel's farm, you could tell that the old Kenny was still somewhere within him. Y'know, even though they made him look really odd xD
Sounds like you got some decent closure out of your ending there, then I'm glad to hear it. Just wish I could kind of say the same xD
Oh boy... Where do I start here? I don't want to turn this into a Jane rant, but I didn't really well up at the sight of Jane hanging from that rope so much as turning to my monitor and going, "WTF just happened?" This is not the best they could come up with, I'm sure of it. If it had been done with some buildup prior to the suicide, where we knew her depression was sinking in and we had the option of trying to get her out of it, then I could live with how they killed Jane off. I could probably accept it. But this really didn't work for me at all.
Remember that feeling you'd get when you saw someone like Lee die? An old friend who'd you'd come to respect and really care for? That crushing grief afterwards had a massive payoff, and I'm honestly not sure they could've ended Lee's story in a better way. That was by far the saddest death in a video game, possibly any media, that I'd ever seen. Hands down.
With Jane's... it was just depressing. And not in a good way, but a yucky one. It literally made me sick to my stomach when I saw what they came up with. I honestly felt like going back and switching to either the alone or the Wellington ending just so I wouldn't have to see it, but... yeah.
Fun times, huh xD
I think you should check out the Kenny endings and hopefully find someone that says the "Goodbye" option as it was overall the best option they had up there. You actually get to see the man he was in the first season come out from him.
Jane's end was sort of meh. Only prior knowledge of her suicide was her alleged intercourse with Luke, so in a way it did piss me off she also took the life of Luke's baby as well.
Overall, if you want a more impactful death, Season 2's ending was more impactful both ways. (Although I felt the Jane endings were the weakest while Kenny's endings were the best (and longer haha)).
Wellington also proved to be a big disappointment, no major death, but boring flashback, while at least the other 3 were at least decent. Argueably, the alone or Kenny beginning are the longest and best. Kenny's may not be the best for some, but it's about 6 minutes compared to the other 3 minutes (And Clementine's scar is so cute on her for that beginning) while the alone beginning is good in it's own way, showing the hardships she faced alone. It hurt seeing Clementine lose a finger like that, her scream was full of pain and terror and hurt my heart haha.
Tripp is definitely way better for muscle than Larry.
Of course there was also Pete! It sucks he got bit quick. Always the good ones go fast.
My group has no protagonists in and efford to be a but more creative. Here is my group.
Mark, Chuck, Pete.
Luke, Molly, Carley.
Eleanor, Doug, Marianna.
I divided my mega group in 3 categories. 1st team is the brain and the heart (Mark) of the group giving advise and trying to keep it together. 2nd team is the z-extermination team. 3rd team covers not z-related needs. I added Marianna because we need to raise a new generation if we ever want to get over this shit.
This guy.
?????
I dont think that Sarah could make it. Especially without Carlos. Why not Becca, Duck (he is Gump stupid but has more chances to develop some skills than Sarah) or even Ben (he is an idiot, but at least he tries. Maybe he needs guidance.) instead?
Preach it sister.
