There seems to be a lot of black female characters in Telltale Walking Dead
Just want to point this out because I don't see a lot in other media.
Krista
Rebecca
Clementine (part black)
Michonne
Heck it feels the zombie apocalypse genre games usually have a lot of black female characters.

Oh I think I forgot Francine
People who are girls and aren't black but are still main characters in TWD by telltale:
Sam,
Kate,
Bonnie,
Shel,
Becca,
Eleanor,
Mariana,
Lilly,
Carley,
Katjaa,
Molly,
Sarah,
the list goes on..
Only about 12% of all women in the US are African-Americans.
We have Clementine, Christa, Tavia, Rebecca, Michonne, Francine and Ava—and we can also count Diana, Elodie and Colette, if you will.
I have been saying ever since the release of "In Too Deep" of Michonne Miniseries that the demographics of the US population are being transmitted inaccurately.
The main and secondary characters in A New Frontier are Javier, David, Kate, Gabe, Mariana, Max, Badger, Clementine, Tripp, Francine, Conrad, Eli, Eleanor and Jesus—and, somehow, only three in all of these are Caucasian-Americans, even though 63% of the US population is Caucasian-American. And, funnily enough, the three Caucasian-Americans are males and antagonists; Eli, Badger and Max.
What is your point?
Cuz black girls rock dude
Seriously tho what is your point?
And?
Jesus, are you fucking kidding me?
Yeah isn't it great.
I guess that's a lot I never really paid much attention honestly. I do find it interesting that beside Lee majority of the black male characters are typically soft, spineless cowards who get killed off
I agree, but I think a big reason of it not really being such a big deal is that the characters just happen to be black.
Rather than characters who's entire concept is based around their race. It's a subtle but noticeable difference, and I'm pretty glad we don't get stuck with those "token black" characters.
o
I love this man.
So?
You're not responding so I'm just gonna assume you're butthurt that not every character has blonde hair and blue eyes
who cares
Responding to what exactly? You haven't replied to me!

Forever in our hearts.
How am I rascist? I just don't understand the point of this post.
Not you, sorry.
Seriously tho what is your point?
Are you gonna help me with the Christmas tree @BetterToSleep or do i need to ask Sarah?
lol good luck telling me what race/ethnicity shel and becca are
Normally every choose your character, various character option style games will always have a black or female character, so its not uncommon in video games at all, if anything its very common. The walking dead has alot, alot of characters so you can expect almost everyone.
There were also twice as many men as women in season 1 (and 3 times as many male walkers, interestingly), though I'm not sure about later seasons.
Also it shouldn't be a checklist of 'we must have this many white characters' etc. I don't think 'accurately transmitting the demographics of the US' should be a concern.
Yep. Throwing racist accusations around at the drop of a fucking hat. Welcome to 2017, everybody.
Jesus, I was just joking.
What the hell is wrong w you?
He literally explains his point in the very beginning there. Demographics of US population not being transmitted accurately.
Yes, these games are maybe a bit ridiculous with how diverse they are, but It feels fitting in an apocalyptic scenario, you know

Well shitty joke then.
HAHAAAAAA
No.
Didn't know everything is this forum turned into such a drama so quickly. LOL
Sorry if you're so senstive, it's actually kinda pitiful.
It's this sort of thinking that leads to people being elected on skin colour instead of competence
Yeah your racism is disproved by Michonne, Rebecca and Alvin
They have a lot of all races, just like the show.

You actually made an analysis of that? HAHAHA ok, some people just have too much spare time I guess @_@
