What is something you would like to learn about a new character in Season 3?
As we know there hasn't been much character development in Season 3 so far. No hubs to talk to characters and ask them stuff or get to know them. So as future episodes get released and as Telltale works on their characters, what is something you would like to find out about a character?
Javier: How long had he played baseball?
David: Who was David's first wife and the mother of Gabe and Mariana?
Gabriel: Who was Gabe's best friend before the ZA?
Kate: How did her and David meet and why did she marry him?
Eleanor: Was she in school planning on becoming a doctor?
Tripp: What did Tripp do before the ZA?
Max: Did Max have kids?
Badger: Was Badger ever arrested before the ZA?
Ava: Did Ava have hair before the ZA?
I decided to answer for all characters because I have a question for all of them. Most of the questions I want to know are lighthearted and not serious or related to the story. I hope we get to find out some cool stuff about them before they die, y'know.
Comments
What did Javier like to do besides play baseball and gamble?
How did Gabe and Mariana's training go?
Why does Kate smoke weed?
I'd like to know more about David's stint in the army. Given the way he references his CO, I'm going out on a limb and guess that he saw him die, and held onto that glass as a memento. Who knows what other shit he might've seen? Just a few references to his past would help put things in perspective. It'd help explain why he comes off as an asshole, at least.
And something I'd really like confirmation on is this-- was Tripp even the leader of Prescott? A lot of people seem to think he is, but if I'm being honest, I didn't really get that impression when I played. I mean yeah, he seems to make a lot of the calls, but at the same time, there's nothing explicitly implying he's the leader. I mean, why would the leader of a community volunteer to drive this random dude out to a junkyard? Why would he take the opportunity to escape when the community gets overrun instead of trying to defend it?
I honestly think he was just some random dude living in Prescott. Probably working as a guard, or maybe a mechanic. It'd help explain why he seems to trust Javier-- he probably didn't have that big an attachment to Prescott to begin with, outside of being familiar with a few people (Eleanor and Conrad). Maybe that wasn't the first camp he's been a part of.
Actually, scratch that-- did Prescott even have a leader? Or was it sort of a self-sustaining community that never really appointed one? I mean, I could see that being a possibility. It'd be interesting to see a leader-less community, for once.
Why does anyone smoke weed? Probably to take the edge off and distract herself
Eleanor's a medic, not a doctor.
You just blew up my mind...
What did Eleanor do before taking up her medical "craft"?
What type of person was Ava before she met Clementine and/or David?
What did Gabe and Mariana get up to when they weren't on the road or taking cover?
Im gonna put some season one characters in here if its ok
Lee/ what was lees childhood like
AJ/ if Aj lives would he turn out like lee i think it would be cool
Kenny/ why were clem and Aj going to florida to find a boat man kenny really wants a boat
I love stuff like this. This is the stuff that telltale should pay more attention to. It'll make for WAY more interesting characters. And it's not exactly hard to do. They've had hubs before with stuff like this so I have no idea why telltale just dosent do it, especially to the twd. Lazyness I guess. Anyway, if Tripp does turn out to be a random guy who was just looking out for the community, it'll make him an even better character.
I'm not sure distracting yourself with weed in a zombie apocalypse is the best idea, considering how incompetent his family already is.
If telltale does that with aj Itll give clem and AJ a stronger bond you know?
I don't know, if there was a leader, it was most likely Tripp, he was one of those at the Prescott standoff against New Frontier men (could act like a "get off my lawn", I own this place type of stance), sure Conrad was up there too, but he merely looked like a bartender honestly, and he didn't show leadership, I would definitely like more character development in episode 3 though, they should focus on it a lot.
Could also depend on their tolerance and how well they handle being high.
In many cases being stoned is less disruptive than drinking.
I'm sure Kate was smoking a blunt beneath the hatch, then started coughing ;^) (really though who the hell coughed, for what reason).
I'd like to know what happened to David after he got separated from Javier and how he came to found The New Frontier.
How was Prescott created and why Tripp and Eleanor are less pissed about it getting destroyed than Javi was over his forgotten bottle of water.
To answer the Badger question...Lol, its possible.
Badger seems like the type of guy that simply wants to do shit his own way and could give half of a fuck what authority thinks/tells him. The outbreak would be no different to him in that regard.
Those type of people make the perfect criminals.
Badger shooting a child in the face puts him on a very small list of The Walking Dead villains (mind you villains) that have done the same. To my memory, there are five.
In my opinion, Negan's was justified because fuck Brandon.
Badger is in the wrong.
Thomas is DEFINITELY in the wrong.
Lilly had no clue that Lori was holding a baby.
Aaaaaand fuck The Hunters for what they did.
Apologies for getting off topic.
Badger being a criminal wouldn't surprise me if it actually got confirmed for some of those reasons.
Yeah, probably for burglary and most likely he doesn't like Clem, because she is a child and got screwed over by her at some point. Badger probably hates to get screwed over by kids.
True. I'm editing my comment to elaborate more through, hang on.
Haha I actually do think they nearly got caught from her smokers cough xD
Badger is wearing a coal mining jacket. Maybe he had a super tough job and hated his life and took the apocalypse as an opportunity to act out his anger.
Good eye there, mate!
Same here
What led to a guy like Max throwing in with the New Frontier?
How did Tripp come to guard over Prescott?
How did David become leader of the New Frontier?
How did Gabe and Mariana deal with the revelation of people turning into muertos?
How long/where did David serve and what type of discharge did he receive if he wasn't active when the outbreak occurred? How in the world does he happen to end up in Richmond if they both split up in Florida?
