Episode 5/Ending Death predictions
Who do you think will die by the end of the series? I'm thinking:
Kate- either from getting bitten or shot by Joan
David- Killed/put down by Gabe
Joan- killed by either Clementine or Javier
Ava- Shot by New Frontier
Eleanor- Killed by Lingard
Tripp- Suicide after Eleanor's death

Good predictions.
I only don't understand why you think Lingard will kill Eleanor?
Something about Lingard doesn't seem right...maybe under Joan's orders he'll have to put her down.
Unless she is related to Joan. This means she has to chose between loyalty to mother or to friends.
if she is related to Joan, she'll still probably get killed if she chooses her friends over her.
Sadly this would happen probably.
She is a kindhearted person and will chose friends.
Thus leading Tripp to go crazy and get himself killed.
I think Gabe will live, you can't have two dead kids in one season.
Kate is in a tough condition, it's very unlikely she'll be able to survive on her own outside Richmond and she ain't wearing plot armour either, so realistically speaking she might get kill off - wounded, side characters in TWDG live as short as a mayfly (David Parker, Pete, Sarita, Luke) and she's already survived two episodes... she's a goner unless something unusual happens.
With David, I guess he can die telling Javi he is grateful for taking care of his family for so long, etc. I can definitely hear: "I love you little brother. I'm sorry I was so harsh, that night when papa died. It wasn't your fault. It kept getting back to me, when I thought I saw you for the last time. And I was an asshole."
Javier will live, it would be pointless to introduce a new protagonist and kill him at the end of the game, when TT is clearly planning another season.
No idea what's the deal with the rest, they've got so little development that it's hard to predict anything.
Javier and Gabe are the only two that are guaranteed to live throughout the season (besides Clementine)
If they do plan on doing another season, they might have to wait a while for the comics to go up to at least issue 200. Since the game folllws the comic universe, it'll be weird seeing an adult Clementine but knowing Carl is still 13 (they're both the same age) in the comics.
season one had 2 kids dead ben and duck sooo....
Duck was bitten so he had to die sooner or later, compared to Marianna who's been shot in cold blood it's clearly a difference.
Got a feeling every character except Javi and Clem will either be dead or determinant. I would love it if Conrad makes to the end.
I don't see Conrad making it to the end if Tripp doesn't. I mean, it'll be a surprise that a determinant character lives throughout the whole series.
Opening the Ken-ible
Our dear lord and saviour will descend from the sky with his godlike 'Stache, to save the day. He will save thee! Alas, his Power will be tremendously weakened. What thou could do is nothing, but save him. Save him, Kenn-ists. Please the prophet Boatheus! SAVE HIM!
Closes the Ken-ible
At this point, I have my doubts about this, however if David turns out to be a TOTAL JERKBAG after all, I'd be totally okay with this happening.
This is the only way they can turn Gabe's character around and toughen him up. I don't see any other way they can do it.
its a difference on how they died not DID they die your kinda not winning this argument
I think you're missing my point but nevermind.
you said you cant have 2 dead kids in 1 season and I'm saying season 1 did. I know what your saying, I speak english its just that any thing can happen so you never know in these types of games.
Episode 4 Death Preds:
Kate
Joan
Eleanor
Tripp
Lonnie
Determinate:
Max
Lonnie
Clint
Dr. Lingard
Dr. Lingard will be killed by Joan to let nothing stand in her way.
That sounds a bit ridiculous and would only prove Joan's desire to be the main leader.
As long as Kenny/Jane show up at the end and join the group, anyone can die.
Honestly, I just want Javier, Clementine, Gabe, and Tripp to live at least. Let's have some characters carry over into other seasons. This lone survivor shit was interesting the first time but after Season 2 it's a bit ridiculous.
I liked the lone survivor trope in season 1 because it sort of made sense that Lee and crew would sacrifice themselves for Clementine, but in season 2 it felt alot like a rehash of season 1, only that people died because of stupidity and dumb decisions (case and point: Jane provoking a reaction from Kenny for no reason, and thus fucking everything up)
I'm kinda hoping Eleanor will survive, especially since we have barely seen her
I think we will get an option to save David or Clementine, don't hate but I'd save David
I don't think the writers will have Clem's death be determinant considering she's such a major character in the series and a fan favorite.
I do see them doing a QTE in which you can either help Kate or David and whoever you choose will effect Gabe's viewing of you.
That would be a bad move, not only would they have Clementine become a determinant character (unless its not fatal), it would also be a very onesided choice, just look at all the other choices with Clementine in them, they chose (wrongly IMO) to go down the path of a new protagonist for this game, so they should at least embrace the new characters and make the choice meaningful (aka. have it be a choice between Kate and David, or Gabe and Kate)
I still think this game should have been a spinoff without Clementine, and then create TWD season 3 which was centered around Clem like season 1 and 2, but the least they can do is not make a choice that is Clementine vs one of the new characters, if they make Clementine and/or David determinant, they throw so much potential for sequels out the window, especially since alot of players (me included) is here for Clementine
I agree. if they do have her be determinant, it'll be a spit in the face to the fans. I wonder if Telltale knows a lot of people dislike Javier and his family?
Clementine is the only person I'm worried about in this game. AJ too.
Yeah, good point. I'll always stick with David though no matter who it is.
I wouldnt go as far as say people dislike Javiers family, there are alot of people that like them, I myself am pretty indifferent to most characters, while I have grown to like some characters like Eleanor, David and Gabe (kinda), I am not really invested in them like I was Lee and Clementine, Clementine is still my main concern in these games, and I still value her opinions over people like Kate or David
I think making this the official continuation of season 2 was a mistake, it would be alot more interesting to me if it was a spinoff without Clementine, where a season 3 would come down the line making a continuation that continues season 2 with Clementine as the focus.
The most important thing that Telltale should probably consider is to avoid doing a multiple ending scenario where characters end up in different ends of the country, since I am getting quite sick of giant time leaps, and I enjoy sequels that continue shortly after the first.
After reading this and some comments posted about it, something is giving me the feeling that we (as Javi) may have to choose between Gabe or Clem.
Honestly it sounds dumb, why would telltale have us choose between two teenagers? then again, im not sure...
David or Clem seems more likely seeing that we've already had these a couple of times at this point.
That does make more sense actually. I wonder how that will go down with Gabe.
He gets mad at Javi if you choose to follow Conrads plan near the end of Episode 2 and its somewhat obvious he has some interest for Clementine, even if its only small.
But in a father-interest situation I feel like he would lean more towards David. But if this should happen, no matter who Javi would choose, Gabe will be upset/mad that you didn't pick or didn't try to save the other.
Ah yeah, I remember there being a thread when Above the Law's trailer came out that had me make a few predictions due to the OP being pissed. Since the cards have shifted hands quite a bit since then, I guess I'd have to reevaluate.
So, with Above the Law official out, over 60% of this is out of the question.
Episode 4/5 Deaths:
Determinant/Unknown:
Awww the entire cast will die lol.
Raise your hand if you would lose your interest in The Walking Dead if Clem died.
I cant picture this series without her.
Clementine. (Hopefully)
Falls off of a collapsing balcony which somehow has become on top of her and is devoured while everyone just looks and itches their asses.
my love for the game
Call it of...now
