Lee: St. John's fight, mowing through zombies nuff said. Got a lot of athleticism and strength for a professor.
Kenny: Completely hulks out and beats everyone.
Larry (sure yeah he sucker punched Lee but he is pretty huge)
Javier
Javier's brother (forgot name): Obviously has a military background that makes him a great fighter.
Jane: Stood a match against Kenny probably has been battle hardened from years of staking out alone.
Lilly: Not sure about her hand to hand skills but she's a good shot even if she bitched up and shot Carley she still saved your skin that one time the bandits attacked.

I'm probably the only one who would agree with this but I also think Javier is a good fighter.
Jesus is with no doubt.

Randall (Anyone that is able to go against Michonne for an extended period of time— even if they end up losing in the end— definitely has some skill. Plus, he's able to fight off three people simultaneously before he finally goes down.)
David (Like you said, military background. That'd already put him ahead of the curve. Speaking of that, how about the way he disarms Max in the factory? Holds his arm back to make him drop the gun, then kicks it away from him all in one fluid motion.)
Maybe Javier, but we haven't really seen him fight anybody outside of Badger.
I'd add Jesus and Michonne, but they aren't technically game characters.
So many good fighters, I wish there was a fighting game for Telltale's TWD.
(No, Road to Survival doesn't count.)

Jesus is apparently Neo, Michonnes pretty skilled with a blade, and it doesn't really matter what Davids MOS was, I believe every branch of the military receives at least basic shooting and close quarters combat training. He's at least trained, possibly very experienced. I'm not particularly impressed with anyone else, they're all pretty sloppy. Lee can determinantly hold his own against the St. Johns, but he also enjoys falling down at inopportune times lol. And as cool as the Savannah scene was in episode 5, I still wondered whether him being so close to death/covered in guts fairly quickly didn't play a role in his survival.
Larry, big dude, but I think he'd get absolutely demolished by the people I consider good fighters. Hits hard, but you gotta be able to hit them.
Kenny, I love you man, and you can take punishment with the best of them, but you were a punching bag in most of the episodes, and a woman half your size gave you a run for your money. I was more impressed with Jane that fight than Kenny. Kennys a raged fighter, Jane kept her head for the most part during that fight and that's why she almost took it.

Jesus is the best fighter and Molly is pretty much Jesus with a vagina so she's one of the best fighters too. Case closed.

Kinda hard to tell given that the usual opponent is a braindead walker, not to mention that strength alone isn't enough. But from what I can tell, I'd say the top fighters are:

Kenny is an awful fighter.
He only beats Lee if the player actively puts the controller down for 30 seconds, gets tossed down like a nightstand by Molly, has his ass beat by Carver, and can barely match a woman nearly half his size even after laying on top of her with a knife being plunged downward toward her chest.
I think it's safe to say Kenny isn't the best fighter.
He did beat up Jane tho.

Cause he could barely hold her up to the glass, missed pretty much every swing he took, and was having a hell of a time trying to shove a knife downward toward her chest.
I guess, at that point I just wanted someone to punch her already.
Kenny couldn't hit a punching bag.
Actually, the fact that he was giving her so much trouble always bothered me.
Hence why very few seem to be listing him.

that title gose to larry he knocked out both of lee and ken by one punch and I beat up kenny's ass in my s1 game play so i wouldn't agree on that point.
carly is a better shooter than her if it was for the shooting skills you sould pick her over lilly if the hand to hand skill you should pick up molly over jane she knock ken on the gound by a kick and she can beat le too she can fight both overpowerd mens and kick the walkers asses with helda.
Keep in mind that a pistol/handgun is easier to use then a sniper rifle due to it's lessened size, weight, and kickback(?). That was something that helped punctuated Arvo's character development.
While I'd say that Molly is definitely a better fighter than Jane, I'd like to point out that it is she who is overpowered. While Kenny was always a poor fighter up till his fight with Jane(for some reason), Lee can take just as many hits as she can in that fight despite the size advantage. Also, there's the whole "Scaling buildings and catching grown men with a Car Battery on me" thing.
Carver was pretty tough.

Jesus, hands down. He beated MICHONNE AND ABRAHAM in the comics WITH NO WEAPONS. He overpowered by himself the CRAZY KATANA LADY AND THE ABRAHAM MOTHER OF DICK!! BY HIMSELF! WITH NO WEAPONS! He stole Michonne's katana, used it againts them and took Abraham hostage. He took Abraham hostage. ABRAHAM! HOSTAGE!
And Lee beat Molly's ass off easily.. So I don't think she is "Jesus with a vagina" as you said.
Yeah, he was definitely a consideration but again, a major issue with this topic is that we don't see many characters get physical.

Molly was actually involved in several direct fights where the odds were against her. ThatPaulGuy has thus far performed a substitution jutsu, parkour, and a saberaxe throw where he caught his opponent by surprise.
Walkers.
They NEVER give up.
Punch them, stab with knife, shoot, cut of a limb - won't stop.
They pretend dead sometimes (before attack).
They can rip your guts out (very strong).
They walk and fight under water.
They respawn.
If you read the comics, you would see that Jesus has been through far more than that.
