Eleanor.....
This fucking bitch. I can't believe that she sold us out like that.
After they made us choose who to kill, did anybody else try to choose Tripp just to stick it to Eleanor? (I did.)
"Javi how could you!!!" ....like wow you really have the nerve to ask me that....it's your fucking fault i had to choose!
I swear to god if I run into her in Ep5, I'm going to lucille the shit out of her.

I don't blame her after what they heard from gabe it she did the same as we did by killing conrad we staped tripp and el in the back she staped us back.
If there is any one to blame is gabe.
in my first playthrough, gabe didn't spill the beans and I was on good terms with everyone. So it was really surprising for me the first time. I mean I can understand it more if she knows about Conrad but still even then...what a gutless move on her part.
Yeah I was like WTF are we in the walking dead the Unexpected traitors first gabe now its EL and than joan turnd on her word and killed my pal tripp wtf does any one knows how to keep his mouth shut or to keep his word in this game they are all back stabing shitbags now i start knowing the feeling of david when he said every one is stabing us in the back i am glad i had his back god that feeling sucks.
There might be more to it. I doubt many would forgive her but Eleanor is without a doubt not a bad person. It might be a similar situation to Ben in season 1. Trying to help the group behind their backs in a way that ultimately backfired. I honestly have no clue why she did it, but personally I think it's worth giving her a chance and hearing her reasons.
If Kate didn't get blown to bits maybe I could agree with you....lol
I know what you mean. When people die because of it it's difficult to be forgiving.
She might of been blackmailed to do it by Joan. If Joan said she had Tripp tied up and would kill him if she didn't tell her the groups plan then I'm pretty sure she would. Also as others have said, she's extremely naive and is willing to trust almost anyone. It's who her character is and I don't think it was out of malice but rather trying to ease the situation. Of course it backfired but it's really similar to Ben.
I agree. It think Eleanor just really didn't want a fight, which could get people killed, and naively thought the fact that the people like her would be enough to warn Joan about the attack and presumably ask her to just imprison/banish them if they refuse to cooperate.
Though it is worth noting Ben didn't outright let the bandits rape any of the people he wanted to protect.
Yeah I chose for Tripp to die just to give her the middle finger.
Now Ava is dead and I'm stuck with Tripp who most definitely hates my guts.
The greatest twist this side of M. Night Shayamalan's The Happening.
I never saw it coming...
Agreed.
She helped us mostly it was obvious that she cared about us. She was okay in my book but now, she is a person who blackmailed us with no fucking reason. Even I killed Conrad, that doesnt mean that she has to sold us out.She could mind her own business. She said "We did!" when Joan mentioned their talk. Looked like she didnt regret of that. She didnt have any hesitation to sold us out because of Conrad. She could have mind her own business unless threw us under the bus. It was obvious that she became more happy for it. When I picked Ava and saw the look on her face, it didnt made me sorry.
She's sells us out no matter what. Even if we didn't kill Conrad she still betrayed us.
She sells you out regardless of Conrad's status, but she's just more resolute in her decision.
Uh...don't you mean Tripp?
What a FUCKING disappointment. But I rather believe someone forced her to do that.
Yeah--Javier/Tripp.
Lol, I really liked Eleanor up until now. I hope she gets a Sarita death.
Why is it always death? There are other ways of getting revenge/punishing someone other then death. Do to Eleanor what you could do to Lilly.
Yeah I watched walkthrough with Conrad situation. I knew she will do it no matter what will happen. She disappointed me so bad. I didnt think she had it in her.
What I mean is, when I choose to save Ava and she says "Javi! No!" I didnt even felt sorry for her. She was hypocratic. She threw me under the bus and expect us to save Tripp, fuck her.
Meh, Eleanor who?
Oh yeah, you're right. I forgot about that.
Also, now that I think about, why the fuck didn't she object when Joan laid that deal out to begin with? Was she really that jealous of Ava?(Fuck sexism, btw)
Hopefully Kate's revenge (with Lucille.) While Javi deals with Tripp. I was so pissed when they killed Ava, after I chose Tripp. Now I have deal with these two fucks who hate me. I hope they don't try to make up with me because I don't trust traitors.
The charcater with no character development and lines.
Okay, so I didn't know if this was too broad to go in my general questions thread and I'm very stingy about making threads in general, so I'll be bumping this for people to discuss.
Anyway, may I ask: Why couldn't it have been Tripp who was the one who betrayed the group?
That's a good question. It would have made sense if we killed Conrad, but if he is alive, I don't know how it will play out since Tripp won't have a reason to do so.
In episode 1 Clem told Javier she trusted Tripp more than Eleanor and i took her word on that and glad to see this betrayal proves she was right
I think El gave Clem the Bonnie vibes.
Very nice characters who end up as backstabbers.
The nicest ones are usually not to be trusted. Take the St John's for example
Good example.
Shades Chick will save all our asses in E5.
And Clem keeps warning us about David...
Yes I haven't forgotten that either. I am convinced David will backstab Javier. Definitely sure some fight will happen in the final episode and it will be to do with Kate whether we agreed with the romance crap or not. That is the direction the entire game has headed from the start. I am also 99% certain Kate isn't dead. What i see happening is some argument between the 3 of them, Kate will die somehow being stuck in the middle of them and David snaps? Possibly what i think may happen
The end of episode 4 proves she was somehow right.
David isn't stable and very impulsive. He has a temper.
He chose revenge over the safety of his family.
Like Kate mentioned before they should have left before because David will get all of them killed.
You can see Clem telling Javi like 'see, I was right about David' determinantly.
Otherwise she would ask Javi why he did shoot Joan while they could have left safely.
David will probably be mad when Javi confesses his relationship with Kate.
David will probably be mad too if Javi rejected Kate, but an upset Kate will confess to David they were a thing for 4 years.
Kate will make trouble after the rejection as she told Javi she will not say 'nice' things to him when they meet up again after they separated to save David.
Then shit will hit the fan.
I can imagine Gabe has to come between a fighting Javi and David. We will see where Gabe's loyalty lies. Does Gabe have to save one of them?
Will he save his biological father or his uncle who was basically his father for 4 years?
A similar situation with Clem, Kenny and Jane.
I can see such storyline will happen.
That was a very good post and theory you made! Guess i was wrong about you lol
Lol you are forgiven.
I actually don't think David is some low life shitty backstabber like Bonnie and Eleanor.
But we can better flee from a very angry and raging David.
He will lose self control and put others in danger.
Perhaps Kate always knew this and this explains why she is scared.
He is some how similar to Kenny.
Just Kenny is more of a family man and kid lover, and David get more excited from wars and brawls.
Agreed!
I think because they didn't set it up for Tripp to want to stay at all. After Prescott Tripp (rightfully) hates new frontier and the entire time he has been advocating for leaving. If they gave Tripp a reason to want to stay such as Eleanor saying that they've treated her well, besides Prescott, and that she doesn't want to leave then it would be more believable.
It would be a huge twist based on how loyal Tripp has been for him to suddenly turn around and betray the group though
Somehow clem pick up some of how kenny thinks he allways knows who he trust or who he don't trust.
