Do you like Javi
I know he isn't the most popular character from ANF, but I actually like him. He can be a good guy and seems to try his best when faced with tough situations. He obviously cared about Mariana and Gabe and at least when I played, he was good to people for the most part. I might not have agreed with everything but I rarely do with characters. I also like that he can be good to Clem, who's my favorite character still left in the series.
I hope he survives episode 5 and I wouldn't mind him returning for another game, if they make another one.

I like him so far, his story is so good.
He's just there and he's the person we play as for whatever it's worth. Really don't care enough to like him or hate him.
He's an okay character--always has been. I really hope he and the other Garcia's(barring David, if it comes to that) survive this installment and go on to live their own lives separate from Clementine, since killing him off would be pretty pointless all things considered.
He is just ordinary; your stereotypical main hero, good, brave, reasonable and kinda boring in its simplicity.
I like Javi, but I would prefer Clementine.
That guy is as bland as a piece of toast.
I like him, I think he's one of the redeeming aspects of the season. That was noticeable even in episode 0.5 where playing as him felt natural even from the get go. I also dig the amount of freedom we're given in shaping his personality.
I really like Javi. He's not a perfect character, he can be a bit of a goof, but the love for his family and that he wants the best for them is immensely evident.

I really like Javi, almost as much as Clem at this point. I'm hoping both of them survive the finale.
He's not on par with Lee, but he's a solid character IMO.
I love Javi. He's a great guy, and a genuinely fun character to play as. I sincerely hope he survives.
Not really (Ep4 made me like him a little, but not enough yet), I prefer Clem.
yeah he's pretty chill. and could be the father figure for clem's teenage life. Hope to god they dont fuck episode 5 up. Kill gabe
I actually like him quite a lot, he's definitely on my top 3 characters from the series (Lee being the first and Kenny the second).
yeah i think he's cool. but i guess that depending how you play him
He's a bit generic, IMO.
Wish they created a protagonist with a bit more depth and character... Javier is just 'bleh'.
true i kinda liked "cool uncle javi" joking more less serious chill javi. until gabe said that shit. then its fuckin pissed off javi. same with badger
Agreed.
Not really Javier is just bland as the air. I only tolerate him because I must play as him to get through the story. Kate and even his brother David are a tad more interesting than Javi's background. Gabe was just aggravating and Mariana I liked a bit but don't care much about her fate. Though I always get a bit gleeful when I know an incoming Clem flashback is about to start, as I get to relive older nostalgic times playing as Clem for whatever little those 5 minute skits are worth.
Javi: ex baseball player, weed smoker, serial murderer
I'm actually eating a sandwich right now.
I love Javi! ^_^
Javier's character in a nutshell. Can you spot it?
Nvm, I'll redact what I just said. I can't care any more or less about this lifeless, plain, brown stick in the mud. He's not the type of someone who would make me sad if it ever comes to his death. So no, I don't like nor care about him.
I actually can...
Holy shit, is that Sarita also?!
He's meh.
He's like Luke, kind of boring and the typical Hollywood hero.
The guy's a big hollow I suppose they made him like that so we can fill in his personality with our own?
I fucking love Javi!
Yup. I like him the most after the amazing original trio (Lee/Kenny/Clementine). He is really interesting imo, hopefully he continues to be the main character, since I really don't like to take control over Clementine. It feels only "right" if she acts on her own, not as our puppet.
I think he fits very well as a protagonist. I wouldn't say he's a deep character or anything but he's one of my personal favorite Telltale protagonists.
I think his relationships with David and Kate are more interesting than Javi himself, without that he'd pretty much just be a blank slate.
I understand why they went this direction, since they don't want someone with too strong a personality so that some people don't feel disconnected while playing him.
He's mostly just kinda there, and that's what I think they were going for.
He's a very good character. I have thoroughly enjoyed him as the the main protagonist in ANF.
Yes. Very solid character that has definitely grown on me. I like the sibling type relationship he gives off with Clem, and I like Jeff Schine's voice.
Hold up a minute, it's not either...
IT'S CHET
I mean, he's fine. I don't see the point in asking when for the most part Javi's personality depends on the player. It's like asking Half Life fans if they like Gordan Freeman. He's meant to be an avatar for the player to project themselves onto, nothing more.
I think Javi is cool but I'd rather play Clem and have Javi as a friend
Meh
Of course I like him! More then Clementine to be exact. I'm a 34 year old guy who likes baseball. Much rather play as a grown man like Lee or Javier then a teenage girl again.
I actually like Javi quite a bit. If I'm honest, I like him more than Clem this season. It's starting to get to the point where I slightly roll my eyes when Clementine magically shows up places, and that's really not a good thing.
So I suppose we'll just forget about the fact that he was a pro baseball player, got banned for gambling,my is life fell apart right before the apocalypse, as soon as he said he would start sticking around he actually did that and kept his whole family (excluding hector) alive for 4 years and a few other things that I'll list another time cos I hate big ass paragraphs. But yeah, I wouldn't exactly say his character has a "blank slate".
