Why do people hate Gabe so much?! He's just a teenager. He grew up in the apocalypse just like Clementine and don't say he's stupid or that he gets Javi and the others in trouble etc. He grew up with people that could protect him. Clem was alone for a long time and she had to learn how to be just like she is now.
So a love story between 2 teenagers with zero chemistry and know each other a maximum of 2 days is going to make a series about a zombie apocalypse more interesting? I'd have to agree with you on that point.
These haters are just asshurt because they secretly want to keep Clem all for themselves...that or Gabe is a jerk...though perhaps it is both. But either way...I look at Gabe as just being like any number of boys that wanted to be more than friends with me when I was in high school....some were jerks...nerds...that lovable fat guy I friendzoned....and I am sure that many of these haters are not the catch they themselves think they are. Hell I know I am not...other than looks ..I am one cynical bitch who is a bit bi-polar...I just got lucky and found a partner who can stand me lol.

Truth be told...I like Gabe...but I do not see him and Clem together...he is a little bitch...but I love that about his character.
Maybe if the love story actually makes sense, but there is zero chemistry between Clem and Gabe, the only reason its even a thing is because theyre a boy a and a girl, because thats how love works right? no, we already have 1 love drama taking way too much of the time this season, we dont need another one, also, Season 1 managed to be interesting without artificial love
I have alot of problems with the way Gabe is written in this game, but I can look past that, but I just dont feel like Clementine and Gabe match each other, they just dont fit together to me, I could see Clementine falling for someone thats the opposite of her, kind, trusting, someone that can help her reconnect with people, and drag her back from the brink, but I dont see Gabe being that, there is also the chance that Gabe gets her killed because he has impeccable timing in doing the dumbest shit at the dumbest times
If they really want to go through with this relationship, they should make another season, where Gabe and Clementine both survive, so we can get more bonding between them, and Gabe can become a better person, because right now Gabes status in my head is "Major crybaby", and just because theyre a boy and girl the same age doesnt mean theyre gonna fall for each other in like 3 days.

Well since I informed Lee, I think I can safely say his opinion would be, "As long as he is good to her and makes her smile, I'm perfectly ok with it."
As Lee, I would politely inform Gabe that while I don't approve of his relationship with Clementine, I'd change my mind if he's more willing to learning to get his act together and stop making impulsive decisions whenever his father is involved.
We can make our point across without resorting to threats of violence, especially towards a teenager.

I like to think of Lee as a sort of father figure to Clem, so like any father, he'd probably be a little wary, but he would want Clem to experience that aspect of life: Building relationships with people, regardless if it's romantic or not.

Honestly, it's what immediately came to my mind as soon as I saw the thread title. It's especially fitting because of "lee, what's wrong? You look pale".
Just a quick remembering: Clem is only 13yo and I don't think any father would let his daughter develop a romantic relationship with some weird, gay-looking dude who is trying to get others killed that she has just met.

Yes, Gabe is extremely reckless and hormonal, not disagreeing with you on that, but given that it's the apocalypse, I like to think that Lee (or any father or parent) would still want Clem (or their child) to experience something normal outside of having to deal with so much death, you know? I'm not saying that I support or oppose the pairing. Honestly, I'm more so indifferent to it ... meaning I don't care if they get paired up or not in the games ... but altogether, I like that this is a new aspect of life that Clem is able to experience.
He'd fully support whatever made Clementine happy, including a relationship. Some of these hate posts about Gabe are straight up pathetic..
