Is it how our previous choices as both Lee and Clem have impacted Clem's character and her behavior throughout the season? Is it the beautifully written romance subplots that go into great detail to show the genuine chemistry between the characters? Is it the long episodes with huge amounts of interactivity? Telltale must know.
Oohh my god. ANF has the best characters ever. Gabe being the most likeable human being on Earth. Tripp and Eleanor are extremely well written and developed characters. Javi is one of the most interesting protagonists I've ever played as.
The choices are great and really do feel like they matter, especially in episode 1. The choices from the previous seasons give us a huge variety of different Clems. the 42 different Clem thing was a lie though, there's about 520 different Clems.
The romance between Javi and Kate is so beautiful, the best part is that it's entirely optional.
The episodes are huge. Bigger than season 1's episodes. And they are all so amazing.
The flashbacks in episode one is by far one of the most brilliant ways to handle previous choices. They make such an impact on the story and my emotional state. I cried so much my eyeballs nearly fell out when Edith got shot. She was my favorite character besides Clem, it was so sad! Telltale's ability to make someone cry is unbelievable. I loved it.
I don't know why I need to explain it, ANF is easily the best game ever to be made, and I doubt it'll get beaten anytime soon.
