If Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo don't show...

edited July 2017 in The Walking Dead

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2!!! I DONT WANT TO PUT UP THE SPOILER THING ON THIS THREAD BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY GET RID OF IT EACH TIME YOU OPENT THE THREAD AND IM GONNA OPEN THIS THREAD ALOT!!!!

I swear if Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo don't show up in season 4 then I'm gonna do something. Everyone probably hates them now, Kenny haters or no. They stole all of our supplies, EVEN THE BABY STUFF!!! If we see them then we should at least be able punch one of them. I don't want them to be in our group no matter what, I want it optional or just not put them in the group at all.

Who feels me?

EDITSSSSSSS:
So I was thinking of how they should return.

Clem is looting a gas station or something. She sees something out the corner of her eyes and checks it out. She pulls out her gun looks around the corner to find Mike, Bonnie, Arvo, and some other guy.

Mike is like "oh Clem is dat u? Sry fam."

So now you get three options... -revenge- -forgive- -kick them out-

revenge: Clem shoots the random person and the others run in different directions. You can go after one of them or give it up.

Go after any of the three or two: You catch up to whoever it is and you can -kill them- -let them go- -take them with you-

Kill them: then they dead.

Let them go: well they just run off and I'll explain how the three return if they ran,

Take them with you: now they're on your team if you were nice to them in season 2. They'll yell at Clem if she wasn't nice to them and she bitch slaps them then they get knocked out. Unless it's Mike because he's cool with Clem no matter what.

Give it up: then they all just run.

Forgive them: if you forgive them then you can -invite them with you- -leave after your done at the gas station-

invite them with you: They're all with you now if you can convince them. This new character get some stuff and things.

Leave them: Then you lonely.

Kick them out: you kick em all out because you have a gun and they don't. Clem tells them what direction to go in and they gone.

Now at the end I assume you'll be able to choose to go to Richmond or not. If you go to Richmond then the people who you either Didn't go after, let go, kicked out, left, or gave up on, will be there. And stuff will happen.

Add on if you want and spaz out if you disagree.

  • If they show up, I'll kill them in one fucking second. No mercy to traitors.

  • If they show up, I'll hug Bonnie and Arvo. MAYBE Mike.

  • 100% Arvo and 75% Mike? What?

  • i still like all of them but i dont want them to show up.

  • I’ll fucking kill Arvo. Spare Bonnie and forgive Mike and make him part of the group again. IDK why but I just like Mike as a character.

  • Even though Mike was trying to help Bonnie/Arvo/Luke (back when he was alive) and apologized to Clem after she got shot, he did also try to leave Clem behind even after Arvo shot her and, since he was part of the group that attacked Christa until he was rewritten after being introduced, possibly got Christa killed. He also took all of the supplies (which, although they belonged to Arvo, again leaves Clem for dead, and in this case, baby AJ as well).

Arvo, meanwhile, only antagonized a kinder Clem (as in player-chosen) under orders until she assumedly kills Natasha in cold blood. If Clem's still nice to him by the time he shoots her, his facial animations show that it was accidental and by impulse/reflex.

In short, Arvo's reactions and treatment of Clem are understandable given the circumstances, whereas Mike's are not. An antagonistic Arvo is getting revenge for his sister unless Clem makes it as clear as possible that she did not intend to harm her, but Mike leaves two innocent children for dead because he didn't like one of the other adults being a total trash bag.

  • If they show up, I kill Bonnie, hit Arvo and say "hey man" to Mike.

  • If they show up im shooting Arvo immediately, making Mike choke to death on a can of chilli, and leaving Bonnie to be eaten by walkers after telling her how sorry i am.

  • probably what i would do althought im not sure since i usually always spare every determinant character ((Including Conrad when i played the episode blind.))

  • I don't even care anymore, The Walking Dead means nothing to me anymore.

  • Interesting how you find time to write something in a forum of a game that means nothing to you

  • I'd like to see Arvo again, not just so Clem can be mean to him, but as a character that has to re-earn our/clem's trust and respect. I think Bonnie and Mike should be left out of the last season. I liked them, but they aren't relevant really idk.

  • There's no point of them showing up and it wouldn't make much sense.

  • Yeah...yeah.

  • I was expecting to see their rotting corpses or see them as walkers in season 3, what a disappointment.

  • Well he was rewritten so that makes it uncanon that he was responsible for christa

  • Your reply is vague... I can’t tell if it is serious or sarcastic, or what it is in reference to even. I'm just going to assume it’s a signal of agreement. If it was one simple yeah, I would understand, but with the first yeah in italics followed by a "..." pause and then another yeah, the actual meaning has become convoluted.

Definitely will kill Arvo if given a chance. Probably Bonnie too. Mike.... there's a good chance of it, but I can see myself forgiving him if he earns it.

Technically, all of them can "earn" forgiveness, but it will depend on how they act. Mike will have the easiest time. He was a good guy, but wasn't especially close to Clementine. Bonnie will have a harder time, since she actually tried to get close to Clementine (I don't care how it ends, because either Clem or Bonnie going over to Luke was stupid, while we have the knowledge of seeing both outcomes, anyone should be smart enough to realize that any additional weight is only going to cause the ice to break more). It just makes her more deceitful in my eyes. Arvo..... at best, he led his people to rob my people and essentially leave us for dead over a gun he kept waving him my face (I never steal the medicine, so Arvo will never have the moral high ground in my games). So, it's going to take A LOT for him to earn forgiveness from me. Even his sister excuse is bullshit. I can see him being initially mad, but he saw that she was shot. He was trying resuscitate her when Kenny grabs him. And then he sees Clem shoot her while she's crawling towards Clem. He should be able to put 2 and 2 together by time we get to the house.

But in general, I have a strong distaste for all them. Had they only taken part of the supplies, I'd be OK with that. But they were taking the supplies and the truck. They weren't just fleeing Kenny. They were leaving the four of us to die, including two children.

  • Pretty sure if telltale brought them back then we dhave a forced partnership with them because of a bad situation because if not then most ppl would Just pick the choice to kill them

It would be a nice touch next season if they return. In fact, I think it'll create some drama and tension if Clementine saw them along with the new group she's with.

I can see there being a choice to either shoot Arvo or let him live and whatever choice you make affects how your group views you.

  • Eh Arvo is the only one out of the three that I'd really be interested in seeing again. I don't find Bonnie or Mike that interesting nor do I really a grudge over what they did.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. Arvo is easily the one who with the most potential as a character, given his Russian heritage, his relatively young age, the unanswered questions about his group's origins, and his unfortunate relationship with Clementine, not to mention the hook of his infamous escape stage left. Meanwhile, Bonnie kinda signed off after already being a returning character on top of being determinant and poor Mike had his subplot dummied out, therefore requiring quite a bit of something else to be a more interesting return than "that guy from Howe's who tried to fit in but ended up leading the defective trio against Kenny."

sure, how about a Return of the King inspired scene where clem wakes up in bed and all the characters walk into the room to greet her?
On top of Mike, Bonnie and Arvo in walk Lily, Molly, Vince, Shel, Becca, Wyatt, Nate, Troy (who is now a eunich), Tavia, and determinately Kenny, Jane, the st. John brothers and a severed arm Lee who merely fainted from blood loss but wasn't dead.
The ghosts of Chuck, Glenn, Carly, Ben, Christa and Omid, Ava, the cabin group, the stranger, and Clem's parents can be shown smiling on her from heaven in the end credits, too.

  • Bringing the three back for the sake of a vengeance sub-plot seems rather pointless to me. What are the chances of Clementine meeting them again, and why should we care at this point?

Besides, if Telltale had wanted me to loathe Bonnie, Mike, and Arvo for what they had done in No Going Back, it didn't work for me.

I just don't care for how the reasonable decision to not follow Kenny's plan to gamble their chances (and their lives) and go to a safe haven no know knew for sure even existed, had ended up demonizing both Bonnie and Mike into treacherous cowards.

I also didn't care for how a defenseless and crippled hostage who was routinely beaten for something we had no idea he was fully culpable for the ambush from before, ends up shooting Clementine regardless of how we interact with him, and had only served to justify Kenny's behaviour throughout the episode.

I'd personally prefer that they get away from their 'crimes', because I just don't support the writing direction No Going Back had taken.

  • Is this sarcasm?

  • It would just be fan service for them to return. It wouldn't make sense logically and I hope it dosen't happen.

  • I wanna see Arvo again and give him a good hard smack across his face

  • as a character that has to re-earn our/clem's trust and respect

Clem would never ever trust him again after being shot in the shoulder. Arvo did that on purpose for his idiocy.

  • I hope we at least get a dlc mingame involving them. I’m interested in what happened to them although idk how they could be reasonably integrated into the main game given Bonnie’s determinant status and Mike’s lack of interesting qualities and depth..if done right It could be a chance for Telltale to connect season 2’s choices to season 4. Clem’s relationship with Arvo could be different depending if you condone’s Kenny abuse or not. Same thing for Bonnie with the save or cover Luke decision. She could either be an old friend or have become an enemy.

  • My Clem would forgive him. Mind you, I hated Arvo after he did what he did but there are reasons to forgive him. First can you blame him after seeing how far Kenny pushed him mentally and physically (beating him within inches of his life and mocking/insulting him at every chance). I must make the point though that I am a massive Kenny fan, but this is one of those times, like the salt lick, that he went too far. So despite being pissed at him for shooting me I cant blame him for snapping. Plus by season 4 I thinks it will be at least a couple of years since then and I for one am not someone who holds grudges, yes I know he shot and betrayed clem, but what good would it bring to kill him. Revenge will get Clem nothing but momentary satisfaction. Put yourself in Arvo's shoes and see it from his logical perspective. Clem is trying to stop me from leaving and escape that lunatic named Kenny. She is just a kid, so she is likely to call for help from Kenny. I dont hate clem but I have to stop her to save myself, so I'm going to shoot clem. The only alternative to that is being killed by Kenny when he finds out Arvo's plan to escape.

  • Well then your Clem would be a psycho murderer. When someone wrongs you, you reason with them. You dont just kill them. Of course the choice is yours.

They will never come back. They dont have any specific importance. Arvo is a piece of shit, Mike turned out to be an unexpected betrayal and Bonnie is worthless.

I hope I see them as a walker in season 4 so I can beat the shit out of them.
