And yes, they did with the film’s composer James Newton Howard (who I’m sure has done other film work, but I only remember him for being the composer of The Last Airbender movie). And this version was, surprisingly, not terrible. I’d even say it was good. What’s even more shocking, Miley Cyrus recorded her own cover of Nothing Else Matters, and again, surprisingly pretty good (I can’t believe I’m saying that about Miley Cyrus).

I looked it up, and yeah, he does indeed do the music for that film... a lot of Shayamalan films actually... but there's some good stuff there.
Disney's Atlantis, Treasure Planet, The Hunger Games series. I can't hum any of those off the top of my head, but at least his music wasn't the worst part of TLA
