I didn't kill him. I wanted to make sure that we were still better than him; that we still have some humanity left. Resorting to his level wouldn't have resolved anything.
When I talked with Norma on the radio and she talked about Randall was the only family she had left in the world, I just couldn't help but think about Sam and her family. Sure, Randall killed John, but what will it solve to take away another person's only family? I was this close to killing him but I decided not to. I know the risks and I will stand by this decision of mine, although if he tries to hurt anyone else next time he will be dead before he can say anything else.
Great Episode by the way! Can't wait for the Finale!
Norma and Randall are responsible for the ferry massacre. They killed those people. "Ill make what happened on the ferry look like a fucking picnic" - Norma.
The only real reason to keep Randall alive is if you left Pete with Monroe. Then you need him for a trade but otherwise that guy needed to be put down.
Yeah, I mean that was attempted and or probable genocide, accidental or not. People are so willing to give free passes to the protagonists no matter what the case but never the antagonists
That still doesn't necessarily mean they did it. It still remains unconfirmed who was responsible for the massacre. It is possible that he could have done it without telling her but it's still not known. Even without Pete being hostage there's still an opportunity to resolve it peacefully. He won't be posing any serious threat with mashed hands and held captive.

Killed him as I knew Norma would attack us anyway and with all the talk about child murder and savagery I can't help but feel there will be no negatives from his death.

I killed him, mostly because Sam has lost two family members to him/his group and I felt it was unfair to keep him alive just because we didn't want to go to his 'level'. Doesn't matter, hes one less guy to worry about now.

I spared him because I actually think he's the best character in this DLC. It's so obvious that you're supposed to hate him, but he really cares about his sister, so clearly there's something more to him than him just being a twat. I think he's funny and he's always trying to wind everyone up and they actually fall for it which just makes me angry because they shouldn't be so stupid, thus it just makes me like him more. I never really liked Sam anyway - I know he killed her dad and was a blatant bastard to those boys, but if you think about it all we do in these games is kill innocents - just look at those you can kill on the way out at the start. Plus, it will be interesting to see how Norma will respond in the next episode now he's alive. Well, I suppose it would be pretty interesting to see how she'd respond if he died too, but I like having a character around who acts unpredictably - it makes the game more fun.
I killed him though I sort of regret it because he was the most interesting character in the miniseries. Pete wasn't with Norma for me so I didn't need a bargaining chip, and he pissed me off saying that he blew John's face off to his kids so I killed him. I reminded him of his abusive father, put him on the walkie, and cut it off after he said he got lost so Norma doesn't know anything. I want to just leave the house while we have a head start but judging by the "Next Time On" segment they won't and all my measures to keep Norma from finding us will be for nought.
Rest in Hell Randall, you will probably be missed.

That's what I thought! He said something like 'You let me live and I'll do much worse', and I was just looking at his hands like: haha, you gonna bite me or something? He can't even tie his shoe-laces now let alone grip a wrench strongly enough to kill me.
Spared him, he is Norma's only family and she does not want to lose him so he should be useful for situations + he can't hit anyone with a wrench with those hands.
Killed him because I honestly don't care about anyone in the game but Pete lol the whole reason michonne is even in this mess is because Samantha and Greg lied about knowing michonne and Pete so if the whole family dies I honestly wouldn't care
Spared him. I didn't have a good enough reason to just murder him, yeah he's an A+ class asshole but it isn't up to me to choose who lives and who dies.
I don't care about "taking the moral high ground" or "stooping to someone's level". That doesn't mean anything. I know for a fact that Michonne has a higher moral ground than Randall and she is higher than Randall, whether she kills him or not. I don't trust Norma at this rate, so I just want them all to die. If Norma didn't want to be in this mess, she should have never messed with that ferry or just be a hostile leader in the first place.
One, I kept Pete with me. Even though that means I don't need Randall as a bargaining chip to get Pete back, Pete had already guilted me this episode for not listening to him so I didn't want to go against him again.
Second, Randall could still be used as a bargaining chip. I wanted Norma to stop following us, and Randall is the only incentive she has left to do that. I know she can easily go back on her word once she has Randall back, but it's better than nothing.
Third, I hate giving antagonists satisfaction. It's a large reason why I didn't agree to marry Morgryn in Game of Thrones. The way Randall was going on made me believe he wanted Michonne to kill him and see her turn into a monster. While she wouldn't really be a monster if she killed Randall (it's totally justified for killing John) I still didn't want to give in to his little speech, so I didn't. And I'm not really that worried about him escaping. His hands are pretty messed up, I'm not sure what more he could do.
I originally said I would kill him first chance I get, but I didn't.
Mainly because Sam was caught stealing from them, twice. Norma had every right to act the way she did. Although Randall was being pretty stubborn.

I spared that asshole'es life for three reasons

Alright Morgan.
Morgan?
As in Morgan Jones, "all life is precious". "with life there is possibility"

Well said, Gentlman

What DLC? This is a bloody Miniseries
I stand corrected!
That's what I thought! He said something like 'You let me live and I'll do much worse', and I was just looking at his hands like: haha, you gonna bite me or something? He can't even tie his shoe-laces now let alone grip a wrench strongly enough to kill me.

Spared him because he's a cool guy to hang out with on weekends.
Spared him. I didn't want to risk anyone's life and I think Randall's a good bargaining chip.
I am buying TWD Michonne tomorrow, but who is Randal? Should I kill him?
That's...for you to decide. It's not really in our place to tell you what choices you should and shouldn't make.
You know what? I can't spare myself the wait. I'll go buy it now. Ep1 today, Ep2 tomorrow.
It's important not to make choices based on what we say, but on how you actually feel and perceive the situation. You got this
Killed him.

Thanks, Kenny. I love KENNY.
WHAT AN AWESOME GOD MAY HE REIGN..
This.
I didn't kill him for a few reasons.

I kept him alive for the possibility that I may shoot/pick/wreck/exterminate/excavate/grate his brains out in front of Norma. It's a party.
You got it, pal.
ALL HAIL KENNY, LORD OF BOATS AND BRINGER OF VENGEANCE!
He would definitely be my go-to babysitter
Go-to babysitter? He'd be the dad of the children!
I'll get a way to get pregnant as a man.
I killed him the second I got the option. The guy was an asshole
KILLED THAT SoB! No point of trusting him or the fact that he could be used against Norma
Ikr. Still don't care if they come after us later, which they'll probably do anyway. Do you care?
Bashed that fuckers skull in.
Spared, but made sure his hands were crushed, so he'll never make good on his threats personally.
Um, a ferryfull of murdered innocent people doesn't strike me as a justified action.
