  • I can't wait forTSDF to own AMC. Fucking 7 months

  • I'm fine with cliffhangers, but what's annoying about this, is that we'll know 3 months before the premerie airs, because it will get leaked. People managed to get pictures of Jon Snow on set, pictures of Jesus on set, months before the episodes airs. Silly mistake by AMC.

  • If the cliffhanger wasn't bad enough hearing Gimple and Kirkman's reasoning for it makes it even worse...

  • What's so, hair-tearingly annoying is that when the show finally does decide to kill off a main character..

..It's rips every last single shread of shock, horror and suspense out of it. 1 step forward and 10 back Gimple.

Whoever dies, whether it be Daryl, Glenn, Abraham or even Aaron, they didn't deserve this death, yes, the 'infamous' Lucille death.

How they managed to cock this scene up, is the 8th wonder of the world

  • "Ooh its like lost....."

"Its a season finale not a series finale"

    "The cliffhanger isnt the story....."

oh fuck off you utter twats

  • I meant to say " Have faith, this can still be saved".

I heard of that, but now I'm worried the Negan we'll see on TV will be a shadow of the real Negan, because they don't care about him. They'

  • Look a their faces. They aren't happy with how this turned out. If Gimple is so confident with the finale why did he have to pull the 'Next Season will fix it' card.

I'm telling you it has to be the executives who forced this.

I was prepared! I had built up an emotional callous for what I "knew" was coming! After all that buildup!? Sure sometimes cliffhangers are okay, but not when we have to wait six months! I guarantee this is going to be spoiled for me by the time Season 7 starts up. Our only hope is that AMC releases a re-shot scene with the actual outcome, which is the most preposterous thing I've said all year.

BUT, setting that aside, I thought it was a VERY well done episode. The trade-offs between Andrew Lincoln and Trevor Phi--I mean, "survivor" were truly amazing. Not to mention their acting in general. Everyone this episode gave an amazing performance, and the tension was something I hadn't experienced in a LONG time. I was shivering ALL my timbers.

It maybe actually would've been the greatest episode of The Walking Dead thus far, if it hadn't been for that cliffhanger.

EDIT: Going through people's live reactions of this episode is sadly hilarious. I feel so bad for everyone!

  • Can anyone post MAPP's vídeo on the cliffhanger (the second one). I agree with most of what he said and i want to see if anyone else does.

  • The last two seasons have been my favorites. Every season is good in its way. I even thought the much maligned season two had some really good stuff in it.

The two many characters thing really cant be helped. Its not realistic to have them living in a vacuum where they never meet or take on new people. Its like Jesus said, their world has just been getting bigger and bigger all the time. The do th best they can to develop the characters, to which people complain that its filler. They really cant win.

Well sadly the show hasn't been good for 2 seasons now in my opinion, a lot of episodes dragged on with filler episodes, there are also far

  • Glad to see youre not giving up on the show. I feel a lot of the way you do. I wish they had wrapped up this plot, but whats done is done. Nothing left but to look forward to what's next.

Well, I'm disappointed in it, but I'll live, I'll live. I was hoping they were going to do a different cliffhanger, which personally I felt

  • Trevor Phi--I mean, "survivor"

I thought it was really cool they got that actor in for a role in TWD show ^_^

  • Me too. I really enjoyed the episode overall, if you can call being on the edge of tears enjoyment, lol.

I guarantee people will get over being mad by the time we get close to the premiere and the dead pools start going back upl

The controversial cliffhanger aside, I greatly enjoyed Jeffrey Dean Morgen's performance as Negan.

  • hell yeah, awesome actor.

  • exactly lol.

I can't see them killing a pregnant woman like that in the show. They didn't kill Judith, because they didn't feel comfortable doing that on TV.

  • Eh i'll never truly get over i'll just stop being mad

  • we still dont know. it could be a flashback, its not 100% but it just really feels like it will happen.

  • See watching those clips, all I heard was:

    XDDD

  • I'd like to ask, how do you guys keep Spencer, Aaron, and Eric straight? This entire episode I thought Spencer was with the group, but then I was reading online and everyone's talking about Aaron being with the group, with no mention of Spencer. I get their basic characters (Spencer is Deanna's son, Eric and Aaron are the couple, etc.), but I can never tell one from the others when they actually show up. I had this exact same problem in the comics as well. Is there some physical attribute that y'all can use to tell the three of them apart?

  • For one thing, I dont recall seeing Eric for quite awhile.

Spencer has dark hair and beard stubble. Aaron has light colored hair and baby smooth cheeks.

  • Alright, thanks. The facial hair is at least a start. Also, when you mentioned Eric not being around recently, I went on the wiki to check on his appearances. Apparently this season he has only been in First Time Again (ep 1), JSS (ep 2), Now (ep 5, he was one of the people listening to the growing herd, so I wouldn't really count this as a big appearance), and No Way Out (ep 9, he was a part of the huge walker massacre at the end after he and Olivia got trapped inside a house). I guess they don't really use him much anymore, as he doesn't go out on runs now.

  • Btw: Can we all userpic as Kenny's and talk about the boat?

Then even if the Episode is terrible we can still have fun.

    Yep, I am.

  • Go ahead, make my day.

  • Cliffhanger? No.

We just got left neck deep in shit with our mouths wide open

  • Pretty good way of saying it.

    This.

This is what I think the cliffhanger should have been, if any. I'm sure it will a cliffhanger for a Season 7 episode though.

  • Lets do it :D

    Go ahead, make my day.

  • Sorry i can't tell, is that the Kingdom?

  • Don't forget, a character dying and is unknown, but you know 100% they are dead, and now need to wait 7 months is clearly extremely similar to that one time on lost where they found a hatch and you were inspired to use your imagination on what could be down there.

  • Im guessing that Season 7 will start with Enie meanie again, but this time no cut so you can see who he's pointing at.

Or they will pull everyone's favorite, "Now I know you want to know who died, but let's take a gander at what Carol and Morgan are up to!"

  • They all seem rather different, in the show atleast.

Im still really confused what's going on with Eric, like he was in that one episode, and I think he was just sitting in the church while they were talking about killing Negan and that was it.

  • It also could have just ended with a close up on whoever got their skull smashed in.

  • No, even better:

Whoever got smashed is shown, but it ends as somebody from in line stands up to do something
