when you yourself say it's fine to murder someone who may or may not be a threat is also extremely hypocritical.
I've never once said it was "fine" or "good" that he murdered/killed him. It wasn't fine for the sake of what happened, it's a scene i have never liked happen. My point is, both situations were bad and you seem to think one scenario is acceptable over the other. That's what is hypocritical. You feel it's ok for her to kill him for something bad he's done, yet i remember you seemed to have a problem with Kenny killing Carver. Carver for fucks sake?? And you acted like he didn't deserve his death despite the fact he did terrible things to people like Reggie for example but ONLY Kenny deserves to be killed in your opinion for what he did??
And the fact that you think it's bad of me to endorse Clem's murder of a dangerous man somehow hypocritical, when you yourself say it's fine… more to murder someone who may or may not be a threat is also extremely hypocritical.
Kenny can kill Larry and that's good, Clem murders Kenny after Kenny murdered Jane and it's bad... how?
It's about my choice to select Clementine because of the evil she rid.
It's not everyday someone kills a demon, Clementine is basically Doom guy is all I'm saying.

i think some people let sarah off the hook and not kenny is because sarah never tried to hurt or murder anyone... the worst thing sarah can do is get mad at clementine when she tells her to "grow up" and run off after her dad got eaten alive by walkers right in front of her.. overall, sarah is pretty civil compared to kenny in S2.
Every time Kenny did murder/kill someone he always had a reason to. Not saying it was right because it isn't. An evil person is like a psychopath, someone without a conscience. Kenny being called "evil" is like saying Ben is a smart kid.

It's ok guys. I accept that he has an unhealthy hatred for Kenny. I'm just glad i look at every character in a positive light, even the villains like Carver or the Stranger. I look at different perspectives and don't just look at one side of a character full of negativity. Oh and I don't hold grudges against something someone has done wrong whether it be in real life or in a game
i do consider kenny mentally ill, of course. the apocalypse has done a lot to him... i just believe that sarah hasn't done anything nearly as bad as him, that's all.
Exactly Daze! This is another thing you just said exactly what i have said previously. You see a lot of people tear Kenny apart and speak full on negativity about him and his bad moments in episode 4 and 5 and yet some don't look at why he is more aggressivr and violent in the last 2 episodes. Carver could have given him brain damage, we'll never know for sure. But losing Sarita deeply affects him and possibly makes him loopy from that point as it's yet another painful loss to him and grief is a powerful emotion that affects everyone differently. People are so quick to hate on him but don't always look at the reasons behind his actions. Some people will always hate on him because there's no forgiveness from them
i don't exactly think that kenny is really evil, but everyone has a reason for 99% of the things they do. kenny may have had reasons, but that doesn't make them good reasons. an example of kenny killing someone without a good reason is killing jane under the false assumption that she killed the baby. he has his heart in the right place, but in the end his decisions hurt people. (btw i don't know why you decided to mention ben, but i don't think that he's a dumb kid; he's just an extremely nervous kid, that's all.)
Every time Kenny did murder/kill someone he always had a reason to. Not saying it was right because it isn't. An evil person is like a psychopath, someone without a conscience. Kenny being called "evil" is like saying Ben is a smart kid.
Oh i know, and i never said his reasons were good but they certainly weren't all bad either. With Jane, she was someone he never trusted or liked, what he did was an assumption because she made it seem like she had killed the baby after previously implying she never wanted the baby around. Again it wasn't right what he did and neither was what she did. Point is, in his mind he always had a reason to do what he did, just not always great decisions.
I mentioned Ben as an example and called him dumb given the fact he was stupid enough to remove an object stuck in a door handle keeping walkers out. Common sense would tell you why it was there in the first place. Anyway it was only an example. Believe it or not i liked Ben, i took pity on the guy.

Picking Clementine. I've grown too attached to this character to let her die in any scenerio. Lee is an amazing man, which is why I'm sure he would prefer Clem to be saved over him.
The choice of saving one person in turn of another person cannot hold positive or negative moral value when it comes to considering the ages of said people. It shouldn't. It doesn't. That's ageist.
I do consider Kenny mentally ill to a degree, too.
However, it was made clear to us that he decided not to work on his temperament with the help of Sarita while staying at the lodge for several weeks. He angrily snatched a box of Christmas decorations from her without being under any form of stress. He had the chance to get better, but he refused to. He refused to listen to Sarita when she was alive.
That is why Kenny should be considered responsible of what he does while under a trantum.
obviously Lee, unlike clementine... he is the protagonist we need and deserve, he is strong, brave, smart, a men with potential and charisma, he can be a real badass and a potential leader, clementine is nothing compared to him, she lacks everything Lee has, clementine receives more credit than she deserves, she didn't accomplish anything worthy and everyone treats her like a "heroine", a "badass", a "great survivor" puff....! Arya from GoT is a badass! Ellie from TLOU is badass, clementine's character in comparison is bullshit! If i were in the apocalypse, i'd rather have Lee in my group than a useless little girl like clementine, after all.... what use does she has? the only use i can think is: selling me and my entire group to a stranger on a radio and get everyone killed

given the fact he was stupid enough to remove an object stuck in a door handle keeping walkers out.
That is without a doubt one of, if not the worst scenes in the game, hands down.
I've never been able to take it seriously, and I never will.
Ben doesn't make the best choices, that is for certain, but almost all of his other actions had some justification for why he did it, or just overall fit with his established character.
But this? This is just stupid. It is idiocy in its purest form. If stupidity had its own culturally accepted measurement system, this would weigh like, a kajillion. Ben is a bit of an idiot, but not that much of an idiot. This isn't even being an idiot. This is transcending the realm of idiocy into a previously undiscovered plane of existence. The finest minds of our generation could not even collaborate to make something this stupid. The most stupid minds of our generation all working together couldn't even make something this stupid.
It is literally offensive to anything with a functioning brain. If Einstein was alive and saw this scene, he'd fall over dead from anger and disgust. History would recognize Einstein's cause of death as 'watching that one scene in Around Every Corner'
If the laws of reality broke apart and the line between fiction and reality blurred together, Ben would come to life during this scene, and yell at the writers, asking "What in the actual fuck are you doing to me"
Oh i know, and i never said his reasons were good but they certainly weren't all bad either. It would not seem a bad idea in the moment to take the hatchet out and quickly deliver it to Kenny, since nothing else was opening the door, and the walkers had already vanished due to requirements of the plot. Them coming back right after that was extremely unrealistic, but it is not Ben's fault. That was the writers'.
And even though I disagreed, I subconsciously liked your comment before realizing what was going on, because fuck it, that was one magnificient post.

You'll disagree but i think that was more of a pride thing than anything else but it was a bit of both because he does have a short temper yeah. He wanted to be kind helping her and insisted on it. He was a lot better off at the lodge had he stayed there, mentally speaking I mean.

I made it, and thought it was humorous. Especially considering how nothing Sarita was, her death although "tragic" (in the sense of loss) was hilarious in the way it made such little impact even in making Kenny develop any sense of a character arc.
Even in death, Sarita was a relegated prop... Which I find is gloriously funny.
Firstly, I never stated I disliked Carver's death. Just that the choice to stay and watch was only there to fill a very structured checklist. There's a difference between the kind of savage harrowingly unflinching violence a film like Irreversible's head crushing scene shows and then a sloppily cobbled together scene that is only shoehorned in to make Kenny look "rad" for exacting that kind of barbaric disfiguring he did... with no impact to the later narrative, pulling away any and all sense of consequence from the scene is what I found gross.
He's won cause he iron-fucked Carver's face to an edible paste and no one looks at him or Clem (if she chooses to stay) the same way. I urge you look up Irreversible, cause the scene is nauseating, yet is less graphic than the schlock of a "badass" scene Kenny had. I don't take one scene, I study the effects and that's what'll determine how I think it was handled.
And as for Clem killing Kenny; well yeah, I thought it was fucking hype that she finally after all the pussy footing she and everyone did, murdered a man who wasn't above sneering a child for attempting to step in and rescue a weak (albeit shit character), wasn't above trying to leave behind a woman just so that he can forget about the horrible trauma he put her through. But other than that, him murdering Jane was so inexcusable that I find it hard to see how people can justify him trying to murder a person who literally said "I didn't kill the baby." No excuse, and no matter your opinion on her, that shit was far over the bound of acceptable.
So yes Dan, fuck Kenny and the boat he road in on.
when you yourself say it's fine to murder someone who may or may not be a threat is also extremely hypocritical.

Is that a big daddy in you profile?
Close. It's Isaac Clarke from Dead Space wearing a Big Daddy helmet.

Again stating Kenny as evil is hilarious. You need to look up what a truly evil person is but hey ho never mind, ignore me it's fine
You need to learn what a truly evil person is. If Kenny was, he would have killed everyone in cold blood.
Think for a second why it's bad. Just think about that for a second yeah? Then get back to me
Ahh ok, thanks for clearing that up!
Laughing about people taking the bait to this XD it was never that serious.

No way, she's not fast enough
What did Sarita do to wind up like that in your profile picture, though?
This isn't related to you being "the cruel one," by the way.
I wonder what this quotation is supposed to mean.
Ah, heroin instead of heroine, I see.
