It's named "Junkyard" Javier has a flashlight, the beanie guy is at a corpse. Someone is behind Javier. Lis reference? But It's Alternative? I mean look at that beanie xD.
Usually these screens dont always represent the actual graphics. The season 2 screens wheren' as good as the actual game. Hopefully they are this good though
Maybe we'll see a key art to episode 1, screenshots or maybe they will just give us some more informations and give us the release date? It's gonna be fall so
On the news post i noticed this.
Eagle-eyed fans will recognize that the poster revealed today is an homage to the original poster for… more The Walking Dead when the concept was first shown at SDCC in 2011. In contrast to the original, Clem is no longer being protected, and stands shoulder to shoulder with mysterious newcomer Javier. We’ll be sharing some details later this summer on how you may be able to get your hands on a special limited-edition run of this poster.
I wonder if they will be showing TWD season 3 and giving away posters at PAX West (formally Prime) like they did with season 1 back in 2012, this year it takes place from September 2nd-5th which Telltale still considers summer.
Someone is behind Javier. Lis reference?
How is that girl a LIS reference? I even hear people who say that at the end of Uncharted 4 has a LIS reference.
slams head continuously on desk.
Could you for once like, not rag on people who enjoy LiS or people who point out simple similarities between the game and another thing?
I find it interesting that there's a bandage - or similar such binding - on Clem's right leg above her knee in the slaughterhouse picture. I think I'm correct in saying that's the same place Lee had his during "A New Day", after his leg got cut. Just a small detail I noticed!

I think they meant a similarity, not reference. Similarity is when something looks similar to another thing, but an easier way for them to say it was reference. I believe they were referring to Episode 3 when Chloe and Max are poking around the school with the flashlight. The pose Javier makes here is similar to that of a concept art/poster for episode 3. I apologize for acting so hostile, just got some bad news and I got a bit set off there.
A similarity I noticed looking at it was from one of the Silent Hill 3 posters where Heather was looking off frame whilst holding her flashlight and looking at it with a confused/fearful look. Not a reference or homage, just a similarity.
EDIT: It just dawned on me the person also mentioned some other stuff. A similarity with somebody next to a corpse, the main character holding a flashlight and looking at them and a mysterious character behind them in a Junkyard. Yeah that rings some bells for me with LiS too. Not a reference, obviously. But it's an interesting similarity.
This stinks reboot. I'm going to be so pissed if the 205 finale choices have no impact. "Clem: oh yeah Javier I was with this guy named kenny but long story short I got lucky... real lucky." No wonder its probably not called season 3 since it seems like a standalone story with s1 father figure elements after the backlash that they got with season 2. I really want to like this but I just can't.
Everything in nowdays seems to have a similarity with LiS.
By the way, I haven't played it, and my 12 years old little sister is been asking me to give it to her for her birthday. Is it like, too intense or something?

Well, there's a lot of cursing, a lot of blood, rape and drug references and some seriously traumatizing shit. If she's only 12, I'd say hold off a few more years and get her something a bit more tame. If she hasn't played the Zelda series, Twilight Princess is a good one. That's about 40+ hours of fun right there.

Yeah sure, but I meant specifically with the finger. No one confirmed if the finger'll be there or not.
And I'm not saying I OWN the theory or anything.
Depends on the development plan. They could either develop all characters at the same time, or develop them as the development of the episode progresses when they are needed.
Telltale said that if you haven't played previous seasons that's fine, it's a new story, but if you did, that's a continuation for your story with Clementine... I really hope they'll keep the title as it is right now

The father figure stuff was for Clem and AJ, not Javier. I don't know shit about marketing but it'd make sense to name it season three so new players won't find it confusing. They could use a bigger tittle tho. The witcher 2: assassins of kings, the witcher 3: the wild hunt. The walking dead 3: (insert title here)
They have strongly hinted that there will be flashbacks and during the SDCC stream they said that we "may not be playing as both characters in same frame of time", we also need to see how Clementine loses her finger
I wouldn't count her death as furthering the plot, since Kenny gets over her in the same episode and comes back to his "normal," though I completely forgot that she was responsible for him surrendering if Clementine is with him instead of hostage. That definitely counts as plot device.
Reason for Kenny stability in earlier episode
Reason for Kenny to surrender
Reason for Kenny to become unstable and angry at Clementine
That's it, she never develops , pretty much nobody else talks to her.
I'm hyped as hell because let's be honest, who doesn't wanna see what Clem is up to now? but I still can't get over the fact of how much they butchered the series with Season 2. I hate how they made Wellington the aim at the beginning of the season but then completely scrapped it and now are sending Clem down to where Rick & co are, thus making Season 2 completely redundant now. I had my hopes that Telltale would be able to expand the TWD universe in their own way by exploring other areas like Michigan but it seems like they lacked the worldbuilding skills for that and now have resorted to working directly with Kirkman and his editor Sean.

I know it's a bit late but i uploaded a lag free version of the SDCC stream.
Edit: I just noticed a small amount of buffering in the middle, i am going to do a quick edit and reupload a video without the buffering/lag but keep this one for now.
Edit 2: I have now uploaded a buffer free video which i edited in above.
Aww...do we really, really have to bring AJ along on the ride? Can't we just leave him somewhere? I can already hear him screaming his head off during a stealth segment.

It's nice to see clem all grown up and the graphics make it look more real. I still look at her and see our little clem now a badass with a shotgun

The guy at the corpse looks like Delsin Rowe from InFamous Second Son.
We'll see when the trailer comes out :P
Did anyone notice that Clem has a bandage on her right leg? Just like Lee is Season 1

I don't say they shouldn't like the game, I'm just curious what makes them think there are references of LIS in these games.

That's what I said in previous pages.
Ah, my bad ^^

Oh yeah, he kinda does. That's cool. I really loved Delsin's character design.

It would be crazy if Troy Baker does the voice for this person.

Dude, that would be indeed crazy. I'd fuckin' love that shit.
Yes, someone did. Job specifically said that about the finger that based on your decisions it might be cut off or not.
Anyone have a link to a recording of the panel?
OMG, I meant LEG
Do you think that we will get some flashbacks of what happened between season 2 and 3?
Hope so.

Also the scar from the dog bite in season 2 on her left arm
I hope they'll show us...
They said it was something to do with choices in season 2 if I remember correctly
Yeah, maybe it depends on what ending we chose
