I'm hoping that characters won't just die regardless of our actions this time around, I saw a little girl in the trailer... I hope she doesn't meet the same fate of Sarah and Duck - death or even Becca - No more role in the story.

I know it's beating a dead horse and I'm sure Telltale is very aware of the S2 criticism and I'm looking forward to S3, but only for the fact that this story might actually be the REAL sequel to S1, because honestly at this point, S2 just isn't canon to me and I would rather forget about it, that's just how I feel about this whole thing. I KNOW Telltale CAN do better than S2 cause when they bring their A Game to something (Tales from the Borderlands) It's damn amazing.
I'm more than certain that they're planning on bringing their A-game for S3
I imagine they've heard the criticisms (and complaints) for S… more2 loud and clear. You know, given that said criticisms (and said complaints) have been ongoing for about 2 years now.
I think the only way anyone could make things more clear would be by hanging a giant neon sign that says "GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER" in flashing rainbow lights outside the window of their office
Absolutely Tales of the borderlands was amazing and so was Season 1 of the Walking Dead so if they can combine how well they did on both and put that towards season 3 it would be A++

This begs the question—why is NukemDukem somewhat disliked amidst the forum? I do not particularly enjoy his reactions, though he is quick to upload the alternate versions of The Walking Dead episodes.
I tried that approach with Mighty Number 9 and Umbrella Corps, and we all see how those came out. From the looks of it, Season Three is going down the exact same road that Season Two went down, and that's inexcuseable.
I don't think that's so. They haven't ruled anything out on Jane and Kenny returning. They might still be alive, but if they stay alive is a whole other ballgame.

While I'm someone that personally enjoyed S2, I get how you feel. Being let down by a series you once enjoyed feels pretty shitty. There's been some game series that I've seen get run into the dirt, and I definitely didn't enjoy watching it happen. Especially if it was something that set a high bar to begin with.
But I still have hope in Telltale pulling off a good third season. Their recent output has been pretty good if you ask me. Tales is one of their best titles, GoT, despite being a bit rocky overall definitely had some good episodes and moments throughout, and the Michonne miniseries was entertaining, with some interesting concepts and characters. Minecraft's a bit ehhh, but it's not that bad. If anything, Minecraft feels like it's going back to the roots of S1 in terms of gameplay/interactivity, which is a good thing. It's probably the closest game to S1 in terms of mechanics. And besides all that, S3's been in the oven a lot longer than S2 was, so hopefully that means it'll be coming out a nice, crisp golden brown.
Maybe my faith's just misplaced, but I think S3's going to turn out for the better.

So I'm just guessing here. I think TTG reached out to the comic writers for this season. And Javi and his story will be the result. Does anyone else get the feeling that this may just be a mini with the "real S3"coming later? Looks great just wondering.
What about the body the guy on the floor is looking at seems to bearing a similar jumper to him and it looks like something weird sticking out the body

The screenshots and poster are very interesting, I'm glad we're going to be seeing another younger girl character too (hopefully they don't mess this up this time like Sarah).
I thought it was clem but its not. Though that girl does look like shes trying to sneak up on javier. In her right hand it looks like shes meant to be holding something but they took it out. A knife maybe?
so to me seeing "javi and clem spend majority of the story together" makes me think that either jane or kenny are fucked...
other than that im freaking hyped! oh boy, dis gon be gud.
Alright. So here's some things that I found interesting about this info:
Holy crap, my theory might be right about Clem's appearance being slightly different depending on what ending you got in S2. There's a screenshot where she has a finger missing, and there's another where she doesn't. So either she lost it during that very episode. Which I find kind of unlikely just because that screen with AJ looks like it's earlier in the game than the one with her finger being there, because where is AJ in that other screen then? I feel that it would make more sense to have AJ be with her in the beginning than have her not later for some reason that we don't know of. Or she may/may not lose it depending on what ending you got.
I'm 100% sure Kenny/Jane will not be important characters in this season, and I'm 80% sure they won't even appear at all. Just because of the workload Telltale'd have to deal with. So my guess is that the one thing we'll see of Ken/Jane is an explanation from Clem on what happened to them during a conversation with Javi. It'll be like that scene in S2E1 with Luke where Clem discusses her backstory, but way more interesting because it's with the two playable characters so it might be more intractable than the S2 scene, and second, the scene can be completely different depending on what ending you got.
I hope Javi becomes a thing. And it seems he might be the main focus of the story, which is good. But I hope he's a good character, and not another Luke or Jane. Where either he dies without having enough defining moments, or he takes a heel turn and becomes the worst. I swear if his final moments is him saving Clem in the ending, I'm gonna be friggin pissed.
I really hope we don't get a rehashed version of the S2 intro, where Kenny/Jane dies in the first 5 minutes. That's just doing the same thing again for this season, and that's boring. I was fine with it for Omid somehow, but doing it again would be just lazy. I also hope we don't get the same ending from S1, where Javi dies for the sake of Clem or whatever. While S2 did do a lot of things wrong, at least it had the decency to do something somewhat different for season 2 with it's ending(s).
That was the first thing I noticed when I saw that poster. And yeah I agree with Aron, shame Season Two didn't have one like that! Would've been cool to have a 3-poster set in that design.
Enjoying the similarity between the season 3 poster and this:

He doesn't. He's sad because he left Pete's watch behind, not his mother's.

There won't be gameplay, what would there be to show off? These games rely solely on story.

What a bullshit clickbait thumbnail, now there will again be tons of people who think that it's actually real.

Still, the way they're talking about this Season sounds eerily familiar to how Season Two started to me. Idk.
Is this it

This one image of Clementine really reminded me of the Spongebob caveman meme
He won't in my playthrough because I straight fucked Kenny up. (assuming Telltale doesn't fuck everyone over and make their choices not matter.)
I think they both would have been great.
It was made before Season 2 was finished
So what?
So, aj is coming back (with Kenny's hat i guess). Some said he was dead. So, interesting
And damn look at Clem, badass and cute at the same time. In these screens i CAN see a tinsy bit of innocence
The hat part wont happen for me cuz i killed K

Wow this is naustalgic
AND THIS IS THE MOST REALIATIC SCREENSHOT I'VE EVER SEEN, especially for a mobile game. Just look at it
Clem and AJ
It's the same exact model.
THE SAME
Whos that!? Behind
I think she was more pretty in S2.

Either Clementine in an alternate universe, Javi's little sister or cousin or random girl.
Its like I'm seeing people complain about the screenshots/game more than I'm seeing people excited/making theories about them....
Come on people. Y'all are never pleased. Even about a game that hasn't even released yet.
I think it might be his younger sister, or someone like that.

Yeah
Wot?
I'll rek ya mate I swear on me mum!
(Sigh..still can't get notifications.)
